How can people not view Black Armory as a DLC? It's content that was added after the base game that we had to pay money to access, therefore it is a DLC.

Have....have you never seen a patch before in an MMO? Like "4.5, 2.5, 1.3, etc." This is like a subscription based end game patch. Stuff releases as time goes on. Ya'll keep thinking it like it's like another forsaken.....IT'S NOT DAMMIT.

Bungie has defined DLC to mean something different than downloadable content, and they appear to have been successful at it. As far as this goes, it's apparently neither DLC, an expansion, an add-on, an event, or really anything. It just is.
-
There is a term that is perfectly appropriate especially since you are being asked to pay for content within content you have already paid for, the term is "rip-off".
-
Remember, this is Bungie we're talking about. Remember their solution for Masterwork Cores being used for both Masterworking and Infusing a weapon? All they did was change the name of the cores, that's it. They're just stuck in their own little world where they're always right and there's nothing wrong.
It just is.
This is the greatest explanation of what we just got that I have read yet. Well done.
-
But it really is NOT
-
Yes, it is.
-
So if it is, and I still say it’s not, explain to me where the Content part of DLC is.
-
just because "it is" doesn't mean "It should be." to clarify
-
It is DLC it has to be downloaded. Unless you just absorbed it from a ad......
-
I have wireless in my head. No, I just meant that apparently "DLC" means something other than downloadable content to Bungie. I guess they've defined it as "A major expansion with new strikes, cinematic stories, and endgame activity." So they can say this isn't DLC.
-
No they can’t. They can say whatever they want but anything that comes with new content the forge and a npc ada is a DLC is defined as just that downloaded content. To be fair bungie is not the brightest group.....
-
I think we're talking past each other. It is absolutely "downloadable content." I agree. What I'm saying is that Bungie apparently wants us to think, "Oh this isn't DLC because it doesn't have a story or strikes." -- they were trying to say "we don't do DLC anymore."
-
I think what they are trying to say they don’t do expansions anymore. Because through their own admission making games is hard lol. Verbatim

'making content is hard' Their excuse? An archaic engine, but it'll be better in D2 with our new engine. Faster patches, updates etc D2 launches, same engine, same issues, more lies. It's been 4 months, still no update to sandbox, they then release a twab speaking about sandbox changes upcoming, n say it's coming in a patch AFTER THE JANUARY 29th PATCH. So when, March? April? That'll be 6 goddamm months
