Dude Chill. Who cares. If you don't like pvp don't play pvp. Exotics should feel exotic in all aspects of the game.

  • I am, too bad it's affecting pve as well. I mean imagine a Destiny that makes the class you're playing feel unique. Where they focused on the world and enemies instead of watching over these indecisive babies about what pvp they want. Make shotguns and snipers specials they say. Bungie delivers and then they complain about that. Shot guns are too strong they say then they complain about "balance" and how it's a mess and how it's "bungie's fault" That the balancing is bad. So then Bungie "balances" things and people still complain. What's that? Did an overpowed thing get nerfed? Oh look here comes the wave of people who abused it trying to justify it. What's that I hear? Are shotguns shooting way pass their range? Why not change the range so they're only good in close quarter combat. Oh, we can't do that then that'd be nerfing things and we can't have that now can we. Why don't we buff snipers and side arms then? Oh, we can't have that. Snipers can one shot at any distance, we need them to be this skill weapon. So what choice do we have? If we can't buff or nerf then what do we do? I mean what changed about pve? what do we have for pve? every pve content is obsolete after 600. There ins't any cool weapons to chase because if there were, pve weapons then will get nerfed to the ground because pvp players would deem it "broken" pve is about power fantasy and power fantasy comes from unique and powerful weapons and awesome skills that you can do while playing. What we have is a half baked skill system and weapons that are being held back because of the pvp crowd and their indecisive whining about balancing. Y1 D2 is a great example of this. Everything they changed was for pvp. weapons, skills, supers, weapons slot, progression system. Everything they did was for pvp and what did that leave pve with? Boring and repetitive strikes that were nothing compared to the old strikes. A skill tree that doesn't let you customize it at all and forces you to play the way bungie wants you to play. Underwhelming supers and boring weapon perks. Now look at what we have. Strong supers in pve with good and unique skills. Weapons that are actually worth a damn and slot changes so we can kill quicker. Since this is a shared experience pvp players are already asking for nerfs and coming to defend things they deem "Not broken" Even though it really is. Simple solution, SEPARATE THEM!!! Make them their own experience. Tl;DR You can't have both. One negatively affects the other.

  • My standards aren't low, I've just seen the ups and downs of destiny the last 4-5 years. This will by no means "Snap" or break the crucible. It's basically just final round reworked into an exotic perk. Also, crucible is in no way bad or broken. Matchmaking for crucible is a different story. But Year 1 of D1 Crucible were way worse than it is now. I get where you're coming from but it isn't gonna be that big of a problem.

  • They fail to see you need 4 shots for one and that will require a maximum two or four enemies depending if you're using a shotgun/sniper in the other slot but it'll also require the enemies to use one of those and you need to get the ammo and not have somebody else pick it uo
