We all know you time gate content to keep your player count as high as you can for as long as you can but it’s really stupid. Increasing power level every 3 months? You make me want to vomit, that’s ridiculous. I don’t want a continuous grind. There has to be light at the end of the tunnel where you just play the content that you like most for pure enjoyment instead of leveling constantly just to be able to access new content.
Seasons, time gating and constant power grind will kill Destiny. It’s time you guys at Bungie start actually listening to what players want. The player base is going to continuously shrink if that’s the bulk of what comes with new DLCs. You really need to stop listening to streamers and Activision and just make the best game that you can without those cancerous groups in your ear.
Destiny was most fun during Age of Triumph. THAT was the best Destiny has ever been, not Forsaken. There was no leveling to worry about. There was just playing raids, strikes and crucible for FUN. Because it was FUN. That’s what people want most. Not the constant power and exotic chase that comes with your current model. We don’t care about world’s first races in raids. We care about our own fun. You’re treating your player base like a bunch of slot machine junkies who get off on RNG. It’s gotta stop at some point so that we can just enjoy the damn game however we want. But, who am I kidding? You won’t listen to me or anyone else who isn’t streaming with tons of followers.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Tilman G: 11/29/2018 1:26:16 AMI like the power chase, at the end it feels nice and it gives me more reasons to get on. Also 50 is waaay to little of an increase And I like SOME things time gated, I don’t want everything coming out on the same day. Though there is a limit to timegating. And from what I understand Bungie made some bad deal with activision, which is why playstation is favored. I hope they see their mistake now with the new PlayStation commercial which seemed to have games that where actually Xbox based, and not any mention of destiny. (I like what Bungie is doing, but they do make some horrible mistakes on occasion)

2 AntwortenWell when they don't time gate stuff stupid ppl rush through the content and o just say there's not enough. I think you guys need to stop bitching cause when bungee does change the game to match your silly bitching you people then go to bitching about how the previous version was better. I see why we can say bitch now on the forums

Yeah I'm not really keen on stuff rolling over the season, unless it is sufficient content to keep us busy till the next one. The forges better be good as they open at three different times.

5 AntwortenI don’t mind timegating as long as it’s timegating done well for example - Shattered throne Dreaming city weekly missions Whisper of the worm That’s time gating done right!

2 AntwortenHow is a continuous grind bad? It’s a game and it’s suppose to be entertaining. Look at it this way, at both base D1 and base D2, there was very little to do. At the end of your supposed “light in the tunnel” it got very boring because people had nothing to reach for anymore. That being max light and the best of the best at the top of the very top. Through a business standpoint, creating more content and more power levels to reach for creates more oppurtunities to draw in more players and new sales reaches. From a player perspective, a nonstop grind is great because the tryhards wont get tired and satisfy the “business” standpoint from bungie whereas the casuals will just hop to the next game they want to play because they’re not really dedicated to any game
