Quickplay Crucible: Fireteams farming blueberries
Competitive Crucible: 5000 Glory vs 500 Glory
Gambit: 4-stack with Synthoceps, Well of Radiance
Nightfall: Too easy to care about, no matchmaking
Heroic Strikes: Renamed "Vanguard Strikes"
Strikes: Merged with Heroic Strikes for being pointless
Trials of the Nine: Removed for being dead
Factions: Removed for being pointless
Tokens: Pointless as vendors don't reset stock
Materials: Pointless as they can be purchased from Spider
Xur: Mostly pointless, unless you're new
Weapon Telemetries: Pointless to the -blam!-ing max
Mods: Underused because of inability to acquire components
Masterworks: Underused because of Enhancement Core cost
Bounties: Annoying to collect, can't be hoarded
Power level: Pointless if you're overleveled
Collections: Pointless since you can't retrieve most gear
Seals: Locked behind RNG
But at least the music/art is nice and gunplay is fun???

I pretty much agree with what you said, for some reason I still enjoy it.
-
What bothers me most is the RNG drop rate. RNG has spoiled this DLC for me. Bungie could fix it but it would be too little too late.
-
bounties can be hoarded though, I've hoarded tons
-
The game does feel more segregated.. I use to do all the activities.. Now it is basically just Gambit..
-
Destiny has always had issues and always will...it won't ever be perfect but right now it's entertaining and no one can say there is a lack of things to do, just maybe stuff they aren't interested in doing...multiple game modes and content to complete, yes, it's in its best form I would say
-
All 100% correct = no need to play destiny any more.

1 AntwortenI can't wait for the winter solstice event , oh I mean black armory paid event !

I feel like masterworks really isn't an issue after the changes they made imo. Already masterworked some gear after the changes Also hoarding up tokens gets you a ton of legendary gear for you to either dismantle for shards and possible enhancement core/mod, or get a gear with rolls you like. Isn't being overleveld in anything with RPG elements make worrying about levels pointless? Aaand I really don't see much of an issue with bounties really, never really had an annoying time getting them. I do agree with the points on collections, telemetries, mods, competitive, and seals tho. Also Xur but I feel like he'll become somewhat relevant at least when black armory kicks off since he MIGHT sell forsaken exotics at that point but idk. For the Gambit issue (even though it's more of a bug in general, not specific for Gambit), no doubt they're gonna try and fix that crap

20 Antworten
Quickplay Crucible: Actually fun for once Competitive Crucible: Mostly balanced Gambit: Balanced Nightfall: Rewarding and complex for teams worthy of it Heroic Strikes: Vanguard strikes with interesting modifiers Strikes: There for a more normal experience Trials of the Nine: Work in progress Factions: Work in progress Tokens: useful for gaining legendaries, or dismantling them into shards Materials: Finally useful for infusion like they should've been all along Xur: Mostly pointless, unless you're new Weapon Telemetries: Pointless to the -blam!-ing max Mods: Much more interesting and game changing than old mods Masterworks: More complex than they've ever been Bounties: Actually work like bounties now; you have a select amount of time to do it Power level: A grind for power Collections: Work in progress Seals: Sometimes locked behind RNG
There, I fixed it for you. I would say the game is definitely better than it's ever been.

These facts point out all major issues with the game.
-
Tbh it's been one dissapointment after the other since d1 beta, this game has never been in a totally acceptable place.
-
These posts that always portray subjective opinions as fact are getting old...

Quality of life is as mixed as it's ever been, but content is as plentiful as ever because of collections. The time gating of something like the crucible title has me at a loss of interest for even grinding for it anymore. I wanted to, but I'm busy playing Fallout 76 and red dead. Fallout feels like the entire game is end game content. I like destiny. But I've lost interest and drive. Even beating this new raid feels meaningless to me. I still WANT to do it, but Bungie made it unappealing when they made the power level grind so intense. We asked for power level to MATTER, not for it to be so intensive that majority player base can't even attempt the raid once it drops. Bungie takes steps backwards constantly, and as good Forsaken is in its own right, Destiny as a whole is STILL in a dire situation.

You mean imperfect, like it has been since 2014? You're so right! It's fun for me, so personally, I dont care!

4 AntwortenShow me ONE example of someone queing at 500 in comp and going against a 5k and ill suck your dick right now

You nailed it.

5 AntwortenWow. Look at all those petty squabbles.
-
I bet you're real fun at parties lol. Nit picking at its -blam!-ing finest. Way to prove nothing to me about your knowledge of the game and show me your a crybaby bitch
-
I feel bad for you. If you're only fucusing on the flaws I hope you don't do think like that about yourself. Forsaken added a lot to destiny and Alot from D1. The more content the more chance of flaws.

1 AntwortenMods: Underused because of scarcity of components AND a poor list to choose from at the gunsmith (I mean at least give us 4 armor mods AND 4 weapon mods to choose from... come on Bungie). Fixed Speaking of which, the gunsmith should have an actual inventory, with at least 1 randomly rolled weapon from each category to choose from each week.. like Destiny 1...

Great collection of truthful topics. What ever happened to the Destiny Community Wish List? #Cosmo

1 AntwortenNot allowed to play with friends. Got it.

I don’t understand how people are mad about seals. Yeah you need RNG but they’re meant to be bastards to get and that the whole point. Next month people will be on here moaning everyone is a wayfarer/dredgen and it doesn’t mean anything.

35 AntwortenBearbeitet von Gizmo: 11/26/2018 2:35:09 PMConsidering this was posted 13 hours ago and only has 125 upvotes speaks volumes. This is no longer the viewpoint of the vast majority who still play Destiny. Like 2.1 million players logged in yesterday, that's amazing numbers for a AAA game a year after initial release. The casuals will always leave after the campaign has finished. If the game is really that bad why don't you stop playing Destiny and go and play Fortnite, probably more suited to your brain capacity anyways. Bungie have made a lot of mistakes over the last few years and they've paid the price. Although I agree with a lot of your points it's very easy to focus on the negative. Forsaken was/is still up there with TTK expansion for both quality and content. Although I understand the next 3 dlc's will be much smaller in content, if the quality is the same as Forsaken, then I and the remaining fanbase should be happy. Here's hoping. EDIT: 166 upvotes after 17 hours lol.

1 AntwortenWho the hell said this is Destiny’s best form?!? Oh wait, Bungie said that... go figure! Bungie is trash.
