Between them knowing exactly where the invader is and how many portals they can open to -blam!- the other teams make a competitive playlist for those asshats. The rest of us can’t play this damn game and I don’t want to mic up with other players. Holy hell just make the change don’t wait 6 months to do anything!!

4 stack doesn't equal a loss. Ive beat so many stacked teams solo with 10-15+ guardian kills a game AND a decent amount of motes deposited with almost none or no motes lost. Sure the matchmaking could be fixed but you can very much play against it.
-
1 AntwortenBut...I like beating four-man teams with three other randoms. Seriously, though, just because it's a four man team doesn't guarantee a win. I had a match earlier this week against a stacked team where they pretty much threw the match, holding motes but never banking them. Second round they had 0 banked but nearly enough to get a Primeval.

They never have done anything to address this problem so it is unlikely they will ever do anything about it now. They tentatively made a solo queue Crucible playlist in D1 but It either wasn’t fully implemented or quickly discarded. One thing we all have to bear in mind is that Bungie seeks to satisfy their streamers or so-called content creators who rarely play solo. Providing teams made up of solo players is like ensuring war fodder for these top influential people. Bungie will always prioritise them above the rank-and-file that we are.

A pre-made 4-stack will ALWAYS beat a random matchmade team, assuming equal skill. A pre-made comes with voice chat active (usually Discord), optimized exotics, and synergizing supers (Well+Synthocep-titan+tether+etc), they also come with a dedicated invader, and a pre-made plan on how to take down the Primeval, oh yeah and instant callouts on where an invader is. A matchmade group? You are lucky if someone even responds in /team chat. Let alone adjust their supers and exotics on the fly to work better together. Now having said that, not all pre-mades care to have fun by having good coordination and trying really hard to win. AKA some pre-mades are shit. I've come across a few like this, but in resetting Infamy 6 (almost7) times I've only come across shit pre-mades that were beatable less times than I can count on one hand. They occur, but rare to get them. Feels good when you beat em as a solo with all other solo's, but if you beat em that means they suck as a coordinated group and you guys rocked. I would be fine solo matchmaking against: (all solos) or (one 2-man premade and 2 solos).

How bout Bungie put a tutorial about how to play this mode in the game. Going against 4 stacks is nowhere near as frustrating as having 3 teamates who have no clue what there doing.
-
It's a tough mode to play against a 4 person team, sometimes it is hard to play against a random group. My issue is that a 4 man team can be designed to melt a boss in seconds. The prime needs damage phases, like the "meatball" to prevent people from running a 4 geomag arclocks and winning by coordinating an overpowered super. The other issues is there needs to be more than 4 spawn points, I don't think enemy team position should factor too much in it. If you fix these 2 issues I don't think a full fireteam will have a huge advantage. To be honest I have not really noticed an issue until this increased XP weekend. Different topic but connection issues and quitters need to be looked into.

Of any mode in thengame, I would argue that gambit is more coordinatedifficult and team based than anything...you truly are handicapping yourself by going in solo if your goal is to win
-
Solution. No solo que. It is kind of a coordinated base game in all. And i love to run solo and run with a group from my clan and lost to randoms.
-
Bungie shit the bed for a solo playlist
-
10 AntwortenCan’t agree more. Had to quit playing because I was fed up with losing every game because I matched with fireteams of four. Don’t listen to these f***s that say otherwise.
-
No real incentive to win anyway in D2 as the post match doesn't really reward you like it did in D1 so I play solo. Going agains teams is bad but I must admit the Malfeasance quest is making it even worse. So many wasted invasions by people who just die straight away. Took me ages to get the 4 kills in one invasion due to everyone hopping through the portal. If they changed the quest steps Gambit would be so much more enjoyable.

1 AntwortenQuestion to those who play in a team. Do you go against other teams? As a solo player I honestly can't recall the last time I played against solo players it's only been against teams
-
-
I agree. But I will say, it's so satisfying actually beating them with randoms with zero communications. It's rare but it is annoying to see a 4 stack and ready yourself for a tough fight. Your going to have some bad games. It is a competitive playlist, all I can say is try your best by being either PvP or PvE player or both. It's hard to matchmake skill-based (the forbidden words) Gambit with 2 different kinds of skill. Also making a casual playlist won't stop the 4-stacks, it just pushes the skilled players away. But if Bungie can manage something from this problem. I won't complain.
-
1 AntwortenEither have a solo only playlist or have a randomized playlist, so you can go in with a fireteam and it will randomize the players around so that you can play against your friends. The reason why this isnt going to happen is because if you had a solo playlist, teams of 3 would probably be looking for a bit other teammate for ages since they'll probably be in the solo playlist. As for randomizer, I can see friends on another team sabotaging the team they're on. This happens already, but it's a bit harder to set up.
-
I agree. But that being said we won against a full team with geomag warlock, 2 blade hunters and i cant remember the last one and we won! I was solo but that being Said that is bs that we matched them in the first place
-
-
i totally agree. feels like every other match is against a clan...i'm not sure how clans can't match up with clans, randoms with randoms, or even parties of 2. i'm to the point where i just back out. take the penalty. if everyone did this, then it would make a poor experience for the clans playing as well. maybe something would actually be done.

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheCyo: 11/25/2018 1:12:20 PMYou can not compete as solo player vs a team in Gambit. They can be smart as a block of wood and have skills like toddlers but they can still do: * Send all their blockers at the same time * Give their invader always the Heavy for Thunderlord. * Watch a youtube video on how to burn down your Primal in 5 seconds There is nothing you can do as a solo player. Gambit is no longer playable without a clan or LFG. And Bungie gives a -blam!-.

Bearbeitet von MrsCryptarch: 11/26/2018 6:58:09 AMI bet if they removed all indications of opposing players being in a clan , fire team etc, you’d never even notice and would play a lot differently. Or Bungie could lie and say they’re randoms and then what would you say?
-
10 AntwortenDisagree I have beaten plenty of four stacks and it's your choice to go in solo.
-
1 AntwortenIf you're a group of 4, you expect them to sit in the queue until another team of 4 shows up? That could take AGES. Matchmaking for Gamit can be bad enough as it is. There's no way they'll force that on groups of 4. Here's an idea. Make friends, call on your clan, get a group of your own. Or, if you can't be bothered doing that, just deal with it. It's not like it's every game. I play Gambit solo quite a lot, and it's actually pretty rare to be put up against a full stack. Even then we've managed to win on occasion with a group of ramdoms.
-
Good luck with that
-
I’ve seen non team members kick 4 players before, I’ve been on both ends.
-
But my 4 man team love to destroy 4 man randoms

4 AntwortenU know what the best part is? Bungo had this problem fixed in D1. Remember the freelance playlist? But they were like "hey should we keep this fix we made for D2 or just let the same problem happen again? U dont think people will mind do u?" Its not just gambit either. Quickplay crucible is the same way. If anything has anything to do with competition in D2 u can almost guarantee its gonna b a mess. Dont lose hope though. I was 3 points away from my 3rd reset and said screw finding a team for ONE MATCH i'll just do a bounty. We ended up winning. If you're good at invading u have a chance
