Long Winded Headline, but it IS the Sum of all Tears!
Right now, Tess is Balanced.
Sometimes she offers things only Money can buy, but they are Acceptable in price, no gambling, straightforward. And the rest is Earnable through Gameplay and is Fair.
COD on the other hand, is Straight Up WTF Evil SH!T

As Slevi stated, this would be an Exceptional idea, and I've read the comments and i get what Guardians are saying about Activision having bungie by their Bungie, but isn't this Still Their Game?

People need to meet my friend, Will Power(no relation to Austin). He’s great, stops me wasting a lot of money.

2 AntwortenPeople: Bungie is the worst company ever! Activision: That’s where you’re wrong-
EA: That’s where YOU’RE wrong, kiddo.
Too late. We already have the worst micro transaction of all - loot boxes. They're disguised as bright engrams but the way they work are the same- paying for RNG cosmetics. Hopefully enough countries will outlaw them that they'll disappear.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von name: 11/21/2018 3:41:56 PMthey already are on the same path , the game is infested by eververse gambling scam

It's all cosmetic anyway, so why should it matter. Stop complaining. Nobody is forcing you to buy the shit.
-
I feel like people forget they can choose what they spend their money on. The simple solution to microtransactions is don't buy anything if you disagree with it. Having said that, being able to earn things in game is always better than buying. Microtransactions should always be an addition to the content, not a barrier.

How come you went from CoD to such a fundamentally different game

Bearbeitet von AendettV: 11/22/2018 6:22:06 AMI dont quite understand the difference people perceive between Black Ops 4 microtransactions, and Destiny 2's. I play both games, and they arent that different. Destiny's are slightly cheaper, but thats about it. The Weapon Ornaments like the 2 Thunderlord ones, and the 2 Whisper ones, plus the IB emote etc have not been added to the general loot pool, so thats exactly the same as BOs Signature Weapons. The rest of the loot items in BOs come from Contraband Tiers which you earn about 1 Tier for every 45 minutes to an hour of gameplay. Also, you can outright purchase all 200 tiers if you wanted to. Youll get all the guaranteed items plus several loot boxes of random gear. Its like buying a ton of Bright Engrams with Silver, except in BOs, you'll actually know what several of the items are that you're buying. I'm more likely to buy from BOs. Also, they gave me $36 worth of CoD points just for buying the game. Bungie only gave me $10....

1 AntwortenActivision was disappointed that destiny didn’t make enough money on micro transactions when forsaken launched. I have a feeling we will have another festival of the cost in our future.
-
5 AntwortenI agree with 95% of what you say, I do thing the direct to purchase items can be a bit lower in cost. I think $10 is a bit on the high side for a skin or emote.
-
Activision runs both..... you do realize that, right?
-
Tbh, I've been playing less and less as time goes on. I really just want to focus on playing single player games and local multiplayer games with friends. Specifically on the switch.
-
1 AntwortenI wish they had different forms of monetization. I would pay money if they let us go back and Vault of Glass or Wrath of the Machine, even Regicide. I feel like they would make a lot more money if they did that
-
5 AntwortenIt’s under Activision’s Jurisdiction. The way I see it we’re all -blam!-ed. That’s why I’ve bee leaning back to Nintendo. It may be for little kids, but I like what I’ve gotten from them so far.
-
3 AntwortenTess is only going to sell more, not less. Expect weapons and armor soon.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von CatMan: 11/21/2018 8:40:26 PMI'm sorry to inform you bro but Activision....is a part of destiny. And they already said they are looking for more monetization options for Destiny. Soooo.... "We're excited to present to you our new annual paaaassssss....battle pass!!!....Get cho loot guardians!!" Edit:....I agree cod is shit.

Follow??

As far as I’m aware, it’s not exactly Bungie’s decision.
-
2 AntwortenIt's the same publisher, dude. Expect to see micro-transactions and a seasonal pass. With how lackluster Destiny has preformed even after Forsaken, expect to see even more micro's going forward. Investors need their money.

Bungie are screwed. As it stands Activision are pushing or more likely going to force them to add more gambling mechanism to the game. If they do the fan will backlash. Sales and player number will drop and activision will shut down bungie for failing to hit targets If bungie resist and don't add in the mechanism activision will be on then 24/7 and unless players number pick up again they will fail and get shut down. Bungie screwed themselves sadly. Failed after launch. Two sub par dlc. Telling the community fock your lore. Forsaken is step in the right direction but the damage done might be more than they can fix before activiaion puts them down.

I like both games
