Bungie is good at making metas
Meaning, they can't balance their game for shit. Right now it's Nova warp and shield Titans with shotguns and Luna's or bygones. And that's it. Everything else is wasting your time and gonna get you killed. Nerf. The. Shotguns. It's not surprising at all that shotguns get support because they require zero skill and give high reward. Just point and shoot and you win which really caters to the average idiot that plays this game.

The only issue I have with shot guns is that they need the distance to be nerfed. I'm not saying as they did in D1 that was basically an uncalled for beyond what balancing should be considered appropriate but just a tiny little bit. Is that tiny little bit going to cause other issues I'm not sure but its just something that could help maybe.

Just like they did hunters helmet. They're going to hit warlocks NW, and an exotic no one said anything about. A lot of people are going to deny this and hate me for saying it, but I know Bungies track record....so should they. ....oh and they won't buff titans shield hit detection. Off topic but still.

7 AntwortenEvery game will always have a meta unless everything does the same damage. But this game has a very obvious one. And had always had one for every update. It's like they don't play their game or just suck at it. That's why I wish they let the community play test updates before they are released

8 AntwortenIf I had a dollar for every time I've read the sentence about nerfing shotguns id be a -blam!-ing millionaire. If it hasn't changed in 4 years than its not gonna change in general. They've been nerfed in the past but still remained meta. Also you never mentioned BB is everywhere. Although I think nova warp is a bit over the top. ITS A SUPER. Just accept that. BB, Fist of havoc, and Nova Bomb can all counter it. Hell, you can even team shot it if your team is able to play it right. This is the closest we've gotten to the fast paced feeling of destiny 1 and I swear if you people ruin it because you don't know how to play around a shotgun/supers.

Stop hugging walls and running around corners....that's 50% of all shotgun fights (I'm a Titan looking to Shoulder Charge you so I know all about it). It's the ADS shottys to the face that I do't expect out side of Chaperone that have me going WTF? Also, BB/Shards/Supermods/Ikelos SG ....you're so meta, bro.

Never gonna happen. They took them away and the game almost died. They had to give the thumbless their crutches back or their game would be dead. Just don't play crucible, or if you only play PvP pick up one of the new titles out. Both major franchises are actually pretty good this time around.

Ya know, I can do exactly the same in comp with a Luna/Dust Rock that I can with a Shock and Awe and a pulse. If I can do that...you can do that. Theres no meta. Its just trendy. They have to change weapon balance cause everyone starts using the exact same thing and it gets boring as hell. And then everyone calls it a meta and cries about nerfs.
