Take a damn break.
No seriously, it works.
I took a break and returned and got Two-Tailed Fox from the Flashpoint reward.
My brother has done it multiple times and has gotten Wavesplitter and Queenbreakers in one day. He’s also gotten Trinity Ghoul and some others.
It doesn’t sound like it makes sense, but if you really think about it, it does...
I grinded my a** off in the first couple days of Forsaken-got nothing. Many others have been in the same boat as me. Then, people have been saying that their friends that barely play are getting new exotics (my friend got Shards of Galanor and only has one character at about 505 light.).
This is such a Bungie thing to do. Reward players who barely play so they are enticed to play more. And don’t reward grinders and players who play daily so they tell themselves “if I keep playing, I’ll eventually get one”.
Maybe I’m delusional, or maybe I’m right. All I know is I’m sittin here with my first forsaken exotic while others have none.
So take a break, and get some exotics.
Edit 1: Fixed spelling mistakes
Edit 2: Yayyy trending
Edit 3: I see many people asking how long a break you should take-when I got TT fox, I took a 3 day break. I played some GTA V with my brother and some battlefront 2.
My brother however took a week break and got wavesplitter and queenbreakers.
In conclusion, higher break, higher reward. If you don’t mind straying away from Destiny, then 1 week break is for you. If you like looking forward to your daily shooting shït in the face, then take a shorter break.
Edit 4: TOP OF TRENDING!!

No shit Sherlock. Of course it works like that!! How else do you think they Make you adicted😂
-
Only thing is many who take a break from D2 Forsaken probably aren't coming back.
-
That and try changing characters. I think they do try to give awards early in a session and maybe the "early" gets reset for the different characters. No hard evidence, but is sure seems to be the case. For example... I didn't have Antiope after like 150 gunsmith rank ups on my first two guys (back when you really wanted that for PVP) When I finally started playing my 3rd character it was about the first thing he got. They might even have loot tables rigged a bit to make you play all three characters
-
This has worked all through destiny, even first year D1.

2 AntwortenWasn't this a part of that algorithm Activision patented to steer players into the cash shop that bungie swore they would never use?
-
Try this and didn’t work for me so I guess my RNG luck is super bad also like always them legendary engram are Edge Transit.
-
I noticed this also. I stopped playing for a few days and when I got back, EACH of my characters got an exotic Engram drop (not as a reward but a random drop from an enemy)
-
Master RNG and System RNG work best when you never actually play the game, used this trick for Conference Call in BL2 after not playing it for a month straight.
-
It seems like every complaint I see about this, the player only has one character at high light. You fit that description. Use all 3 characters and increase your odds.
-
Damn desire system. That's why I'm so thrilled when I get one after I take a break
-
The exact opposite happened for me

1 AntwortenDo you think it works with dreaming city ship, sparrow and ghost?

Thank you!

It does work, I posted about this a couple times already.
-
Interesting, after playing daily in the beginning of the new DLC, I did not play for 3 days this week and got Black Talon and TT Fox on one day. :-)
-
Truth. Grinded first 3 weeks of forsaken with no new drops. Took a break for a week or so. Came back and got a queensbreaker from killing a HVT in gambit and then a suros regime from the daily gambit reward of the same game. Playing nonstop and grinding every powerful drop is tedious and barely rewarding but yes exotics can drop from them. I bet if people just played on the weekends they would have more new exotics. Best of luck folks.

I can attest to this took a week break came back for iron banner got two tailed fox from crucible milestone on my warlock. Got shinbous bow on my hunter from gambit milestone. Hoping I get one eyed or ursa furiousa on my titan when I finished either gambit or flashpoint milestone. Literally just do everything half added and they seem to drop more.

It works and it's absolutely genius on Bungie's part. eff'd up, but genius. First time back in 2 weeks and Wavesplitter dropped from a random enemy.
