Oathkeeper Exotic Gauntlets
Hey all,
Since the release of Forsaken, we’ve been fielding feedback concerning the Oathkeeper Exotic Gauntlets for Hunters. Primarily, players do not feel that the Adamantine Brace perk offers a significant change to bow charge times.
As such, we are removing “Bows charge faster” from the description of the perk in an upcoming update. This armor piece will continue to give a minor decrease to charge times, but will no longer be called out as an aspect of the exotic perk.
Moving forward, the focus of this exotic will be that players may hold bow charges indefinitely, with the benefit of Perfect Draw being applied to arrows fired, even after longer hold times.
We will continue to monitor this feedback as it comes in, so please continue to sound off with thoughts concerning the Oathkeeper Exotic!

6 AntwortenSo. Are you "listening" now? You're seeing what people think of this idiotic idea. You had to know it was idiotic before you hit post, but now you know what people think of you. Now take their feedback, and fix the gods damned thing. Does it look like people care if it throws off the balance on bows a little bit? Now. This is a fix that will take you half a freaking hour. Go adjust the bow draw speeds, almost instant for the quick draw, quick draw for the mid draw, and mid draw for the slow draw. You could have this finished faster than saying it. NOW GO GET IT DONE. Good lord what the hell is wrong with you? You can literally SEE how pissed off you've made people with this attitude of "well taking five minutes to fix it is just too hard, I might have to take a day off from my 364 day vacation and everything, woe is me" Just get it done you lazy bastards and actually get in a days work like the rest of us for once in your -blam!-ing life.

This is the Bungie that brought you XP-gate and the Dawning debacle. This is the Bungie that promised you "more loot" and "more things to do" in Forsaken. This is the Bungie that was making your gaming experience "more meaningful". dmg04: At least admit you needed a shower after you posted this steaming pile. Actually, I thank you for posting this. This affirms what I already guessed. Bungie has completely "mailed it in" with D2 ever since the announcement of the new $100M deal. ATVI is already "unhappy" with the performance of franchise so is this just a way to finally be rid of it? If so, good job. So, Black Friday sale set at $14.99?

The charge time for fusion rifles is night and day, but with bows you can’t really tell. An arsenic bite with Draw time masterwork and archers tempo you can’t even tell the difference. Bows are fun I use my Subtle Calamity quite often, but in the future can there be more kinetic bows? Or at least make it so that No turning back doesn’t drop static.

So we heard that you guys are underwhelmed by this exotic, so instead of changing it to feel exotic we are just going to change the text so it’s less exotic. In my opinion exotics should explicitly tell you what they do. Imagine if gjallerhorn had the Wolfpack rounds as a hidden perk. Those perks are the reason why we might pick to use that exotic or make a strategy to counter that in pvp. I know it’s not very drastic, but you guys are removing flavor from an already bland exotic

I commend all the posts here in answer to this absolute, but not surprised, garbage handling of what should be a useful exotic but is now infusion material. But be sure that after posting this shit show, that he was told to by people higher up with less spine, dmg04 will probably not revisit this post. He knows the shitstorm that's coming. It's not his fault that the developers find content hard to do, d1 game engine, shame non of them post replies to your comments

Very disappointed in this cop-out. Just when you think you guys at Bungie are on a roll, you pull crap like this that snaps people back to reality. Oathkeepers have been broken since day one, I know it, Bungie knows it, every hunter unlucky enough to have them drop knows it, and your answer to the broken perk is not to fix it and but to remove any wording of the perk and just carry on like it never existed, confining Oathkeepers to the bin, because lets be honest, of the two perks it was intended to have, infinite draw time was the one perk most Hunters didn't give a shit about, it's marginally useful in pvp with one bow 'Wish-ender' and absolutely useless in pve in any situation. Players like myself who have these Gauntlets have been waiting patiently for weeks for word on a fix, so to say we are disappointed is an understatement.

Youll change the name to trials of the 8 or something? Maybe "Stacked vs solo fools" Funny thing is that YOU guys keep fvcking up your OWN game and then everybody goes into blaming activision. What a joke. Btw i dont really care about the exotics since IF i get one its a Y1 i already have. While you are the changing names solutions might as well change "Destiny 3" name into Casino Simulation"

It's good to hear that some people have had the chance to have an opinion of how some of the new exotics perform. Most of us don't have an opinion because we don't have the exotics. It's time Xur became useful again but without giving them away, a new currency maybe, you could call them strange coins perhaps.

Well, can’t make the argument that the description is misleading... but now the argument will shift to “these gauntlets are worthless. If I have shards of galanor, there is never a situation where the oathkeepers will be worth while to equip. Oathkeepers should be legendary and not exotic.” The feedback was always to say that the perk was weak. It needs some more bells and whistles if they’re gonna be viable. How about “dramatically increases ready and stow speed for all bows, as well as improving hip fire and mid-air accuracy.” I’d use those gauntlets.

This is gonna be like the net neutrality issue but in destiny where everyone tells you this change is stupid, lazy, and makes the gauntlets useless. Then like 5 people are gonna say it's great and bungie will ignore our feedback anyways but pretend like it is important
