You don't, you lose glory when you lose or quit.
-
1 AntwortenBecause sadly if you didn’t people would abuse this and no one would lose glory...
-
Because the alternative is worse. Not sure what's difficult to understand here.

6 AntwortenAgree its horrible, I have been a bee's dick away from Fabled for the last few weeks Everytime I needed one more win I get caught in a 3v4 or worse and ended up falling back in a crappy win lose win lose pattern Right now though I've had it I'm at 2060 and I've decided just to wait out the week for the bonus points It's such a spirit breaker

Why do we never get double glory weekends like valor and imfamy points in gambit?
-
Many reasons. Because if u don’t lose points when someone leaves then it will be abused by 4 stacks. One leaves so the others don’t lose points. And if you think about this. For every person that leaves on your team one will leave on the enemy team so it balances out. It doesn’t just happen to you. You’re not special.

You don't.

Shut up and get back to work at the glory hole beyachh

15 AntwortenI've been saying since Glory was introduced that it's a broken scoring system. Points are assigned individually based on Win / Loss. Win / Loss is a measure of team performance, not individual skill. This is partly why it feels so unfair as a solo player. Effectively your Glory points are more a measure of how lucky you got with team assignment, and less about how well you played individually since you comprise only 25% of the total team effort. They need to do one of two things. 1. Rework Glory to include a personal performance element. Ideally I'd like to see the number of kills, assists, objectives completed, etc. factored in for all players on both the winning and losing team at the end of each match. Doing so would reward skilled players more than those being carried on the winning team, and offer players on the losing team a chance to reduce or possibly remove all together the points they would have lost if they perform exceptionally well. This also incentivises players not to abandon games if they are losing since they still have an opportunity to make up some points via kills, rather than give up, leave and be hit with the full point deduction. 2. The other option is to keep Glory scoring as it is based solely on Win / Loss, but restrict the Competitive playlist to full fireteams similar to Trials. Because Win / Loss is a measure of team performance and not individual performance, you should be required to choose your own teammates so the player fully owns the outcome of the match by extension. I'd personally prefer option 1, but either of these would make the scoring seem more fair.

3 AntwortenTo prevent cheesing? Team of 4 rolls in, about to lose. One quits, then the other 3 can quit with no penalty? Thats ridiculous. They could use that to save a ton of points.

Because of a poor design choice of bungie. As always. Bungie thinks part of being competitive is to make the game hard. Which is ok as long hard is also related to fairness and player choice. But right now the penalties realted to competitive pretty much fks up players who did nothing wrong. Hell you might play extremely well but lose points and streak because someone left and your team lost. This issue can be addressed so easily but... bungie does not care.

First PvP match I had today was a 1v4. I got roasted and the loser on the other team felt the need to t-bag me after every kill as if he just "owned" me..... Great game Bungie. Pristine matchmaking with really top notch classy players.

5 AntwortenThat’s why I don’t play that dumpster fire of a game mode. You can pick: 1 quitters penalty and loss of glory or 2 get decimated and loss of glory points If you punish me for playing I’m not playing.
-
Because bungie is only able to implement a 0 or 1 system
-
I was in 3 win streak when in the next match I got kicked out entirely from destiny and when I managed log back in Bungie message was waiting me like it was my fault. I checked my activity on Bungie account and it added that match as a defeat of course I lost points and the streak.
-
Because bungie has a shit system in place for comp.
-
You can thank the sadism department at Bunglevision.
-
Because bungie hates the players.
-
because bungie does not care about its players

Fireteams would easily be able to exploit that. Oh they're down? Have one member take the glory hit and save the other 3 people. Yeah that doesn't sound like a very well thought out idea does it.
