It’s time again for Rhynerd to make a thread about something he’s been thinking about a lot. In this case it’s an upcoming Tabletop RPG (ttrpg) called Lancer. Like many other games, it’s set in a galaxy colonized by mankind. Like many other settings, it’s post-scarcity. Like a couple other settings, mankind is mostly united. Like most stories, mankind still fights among itself. Here, the players are mech pilots, working to earn a name in this galaxy by handling the big tasks that call for combat mechs. Right now it’s in a public beta, with an official release planned for the future.
