I’ve had the quest steps done for a week now. And I’m tried grinding out the ranks. The match making is consistently terrible. The game modes are not fun and the ranking system is the worst I’ve ever seen. I enjoyed the game up to this point but competitive playlist ruined d2 for me

1 AntwortenI just played two games in Competitive Crucible. The first game we start missing a player so us 3 randomly against a full team. Hmm guess what, we lost. Next game get put up against a full stack team vs us randoms. I quit out the game game and got suspended. -blam!- you Bungie you douche bags!!!

I was having fun trying for the 5 resets during 3x managing to get a 5 streak and in yhe middle of s match my team was clesrly going to win when... I lost power for like 30 seconds. Booted back up, couldnt rejoin andddd the 5 streak gone. Turned off the Xbox and went to do house work. I'm not saying its Bungie's fault, just so disappointed.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Younguns 375: 10/25/2018 5:11:05 PMThis is by fare the worst comp or pvp even I have ever played. Been playing shooters since golden eye and this is the first time I really have to force myself to play pvp. If it weren’t for the howl I wouldn’t even touch this. Was going to go for not forgotten but that’s a pipe dream

9 AntwortenPlay comp during the first week of a new dlc, so much easier grinding when everyone is doing pve and nobody has good weapons
-
Bungie is killing competitive and everyday people just stay more away from it. Then bungie cries about not having enough people to implement a SBMM which its bungies fault in the first place. Quickplay is just for fun. Competitive right now is the endgame pvp stuff. Imagine if raid which is the endgame pve aspect of the game was in a state similiar to competitive. I like the competitive modes. I believe comeptitive has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. But bungie doesnt even have the decency to recognize all the complaints of solo players, the dumb loss penaly for losing a match when someone leaves and its 3 v 4. Or soloes vs stacked. Its just beyond logic.

After getting Luna’s I’m pretty sick of PvP. Floating around 2900 and debating on whether or not to go all the way.
-
Since Forsaken launched. It was my friend and me that grinded out comp. Sometimes I was solo and I'll tell you the salt was real. But he helped me get my Luna last night and I'm ever so grateful for that. He doesn't really like the balancing and the matchmaking in comp but he stuck it through for me. He's at the half way mark in heroic so its my turn to help him out. Also, I found out it helps if you just joke around during comp games. Like at the beginning of the night, we were just tilted. But later on, we just started to joke around and the games went smoothly than we expected. Even if it is just with one friend. That can make all the difference.

3 AntwortenJust wait until you hit 2100 and have to grind 200 solar kills against 4 stacks using Luna's on countdown and survival. That's where the real fun begins!

1 AntwortenNo stay. I need to farm wins

While playing 5 weekly Quickplay matches today and getting stomped by Lunas and Redrix's in 4 of them, I seriously question why there are even 2 different playlists. Everything bad I hear about Comp, happens exactly the same in Quickplay. If there isnt going to be any matchmaking, why not just throw us all in the same lobby and use personal achievments to advance Glory and Valor? The requirements could stay the same, youd just earn both points simultaneously.

376 glory and you already gave up? I just don’t think Competitive is for you
-
1 AntwortenYou’re not even 300 glory.. like are you even trying?
-
Sounds like you run solo. Next time, try running in a team. Take care.
-
5 AntwortenBUNGIE's incredibly foolish decision to cater to streamers and no-life tryhard gamers made me give up on D2 and ruined it for me.
-
After receiving my first suspension after being randomly kicked I’m considering it too - you should be able to rejoin a match if the servers go crazy - Bungie never fails to frustrate loyal players.

5 AntwortenFor the past two days ive practically wasted the small amount of free time i have after work just to not move in rank at all this is so mother -blam!-ing frustrating i really am considering just giving up because of the bullshit that is mm i loved pvp and love a grind but this is just not fun not to mention i played 6 -blam!-ing countdown matches in a row today my most hated game mode so yeah i give up today and ill waste my time again Tmrw

QP ruined D2 for me lmao, reading all the bitching about lunas howl doesn't want me to go anywhere near comp. Comp was bad in year one and after a few games then of what everyone else is bitching about now; nah I learned how trash that playlist is a looong time ago.

Bearbeitet von Noo Its Obama: 10/25/2018 2:00:33 PMgame got pretty boring now. The exotic drop rates and duplicates have killed it for me :/. Also bungie doing stupid shit has ruined it

I do not know the pains of said grind, but I have committed to other scenarios to get something, like the gambit rank reset trust.. and it sucked... Do not touch gambit anymore, but the weapon was worth it. My point, doing a lot of one thing always has an effect. Especially if there is a goal and or target in mind. Just take a break. It is not going anywhere. It turns into a job basically, and no game should ever feel like that.

It's weird for me. Comp matchmaking wasn't amazing. I'm usually on the losing team, however, on my Hunter I recently got my first "we ran out of medals". On my competitive main, warlock, Ive been placing in rumble, and on a 5 game winning streak in comp, all solo matchmaking. It's almost like Bungie fixed it just for me. The bottom with probably fall out this afternoon after work though. Lol
-
6 AntwortenNo it hasn’t. Your still posting on the forums which, trust me, requires that you be fully invested in D2. If you don’t play the game anymore, then why care about its development?
-
4 AntwortenCompetitive isn’t for everyone, so if you dislike it just don’t play it. Plenty of other content to be played if it’s not for you. As for the matchmaking I honestly don’t see the issue. If you’re wanting to push ranks you got to think of competitive in the same way as Trials.

1 AntwortenRegardless of your thoughts on competitive, you shouldn't let this one aspect of the game get you down. There are so many other things to grind for in destiny 2 that you could have fun doing!
-
2 AntwortenI swear people and the chase for lunas howl. Fellas its not thr end all be all of guns here. Sure its the best 1v1 gun in the game but it has counters. Telesto is one, leading with a grenade is a great way too, sturm over charge works welk for me. Shotgun to the face anyone? Chaperone? My point is if you are not enjoying competative now then you probably never will. To me personaly if i dont enjoy something and im not having fun im not doing it. I did 25 comp matches over the weekend to get the broadsword. I actualy had fun mostly. The only time i did not have fun was when my own team was AFK. Yes AFK in fuxking comp man. Thats bullshit right there. Im a solo player so 1 AFK really hurts the match.

The more that quit, the quicker the change will come.
