The only one I have so far is my favorite roll and isn’t all to bad either. Had Smallbore, Extended Mag, Outlaw, and Rampage. Also has a range masterwork. Been loving it since I got it. Also have a backup mag on it to get more use out of Rampage, which gives it 14 in the mag. Bit of overkill maybe, but I enjoy having the extra shots.

Bearbeitet von IcyHorizons: 10/24/2018 10:33:05 AMAs I had told someone else, To me anything that isn't Outlaw and Rampage on the Trust or a trash roll, is pretty good. I say that anything but Outlaw and Rampage are better because Outlaw and Rampage actually puts you at a disadvantage, the reason why is quite simple really. Both of these perks are good together on Bygones or Chattering Bone, but on the Trust Hand Cannon these perks are terrible and yes I mean terrible. Rampage is good for 1v1 type scenarios, I mean sure you could probably snag one or two extra kills but you'd be better off using a Pulse Rifle or Auto Rifle with those perks. Trust is a HC (obviously) but those two perks are just not meant for an HC, it's pretty much like putting a metal rod down the barrel of your weapon and firing. Those perks just won't do that great for you as they would a Pulse Rifle or Auto Rifle.

Bearbeitet von Ghostrickerman: 10/24/2018 11:07:19 AMWell I’m much more of a HC guy and personally enjoy my roll. While I would have maybe preferred rapid hit over Outlaw, this roll let’s me get good use out of it in both PvP and PvE. Plus, I feel the roll is quite good for PvP. I’m quite a good shot with HC’s and the 180 rpm archetype is stupidly easy to use. Edited my post btw, but my Trust has 14 in the mag. Four shots will net me a kill, allowing me to finish another guardian in 3-4 shots, which then puts me at 7 or 6 shots and able to reliably three tap any other opponents. I appreciate your opinion/advice, but you haven’t said much to convince me it’s bad, except by saying it’s terrible. No offense meant, you just haven’t presented any points to convince me otherwise. I believe Rampage and a reload perks is a pretty decent roll for HC’s. Duke MK 44 as an example can be very deadly if you get one with this roll, plus other HC’s can benefit greatly from damage increasing perks. Sturm and Ace of Spades come to mind, along with The Old Fashioned in year 1. I’ve gotten many double and triple downs with this weapon in the short time I’ve had it, including one were I took out a Sentinel on my own with Rampage x2. So again, no offense meant, but I’m not convinced my roll is “bad”. I’d be interested to hear why you think the perks are bad on it and what you would consider a better roll.

Bearbeitet von IcyHorizons: 10/24/2018 11:07:35 AMFair points but in my opinion, Rampage on a Hand Cannon doesn't get much use as you have a shorter magazine and with a meta that favors Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons can't out fire said weapons. Rampage only offers a 10% damage buff per kill, the effect doesn't proc on assists which is more common with certain Hand Cannon arch types. Explosive payload can actually benefit Trust fairly well as the extra flinch (Visual flinch) can probably get you a couple extra kills because of AOE damage and just overall use. Theres a variety of different perks you can get, I don't mean to criticize you for using a roll that on a Pulse Rifle such as Bygones would flourish greatly, however I believe that someone who got a certain roll on theirs would like to know what combinations are best for the weapon and can hopefully get one that they're happy with. Outlaw and Rampage are alright on Trust, but in my opinion I don't think they're that good combination for a Hand Cannon in this meta.

Bearbeitet von Ghostrickerman: 10/24/2018 11:23:41 AMI can understand your points, except for Explosive Rounds helping you get double kills more reliably than Rampage(unless you mean PvE). I can see the benefit to flinching your opponents however and paired with Outlaw would allow you to out duel one opponent and be reloaded/ready for the next. Flinching can be especially effective against pulse rifles and things like Luna’s Howl/Not Forgotten, since these weapons rely on precision hits. However, explosive rounds can occasionally rob you of your precision kill, effectively making Outlaw a useless perk if that happens. Rampage has no downside in that regard and lets me be more ready for 1v2 or 1v3 situations. Trust is also a decent counter to Luna on it’s own merits, since it has more range and even more so because of my Range masterwork. Rampage can artificially increase it’s range further although Explosive Rounds can more or less do the same. Overall, I’d say my roll is better for Quickplay and dealing with multiple opponents, whereas yours is possibly better for outright dueling, due to the flinch. I appreciate your criticism but am still quite happy with my Trust’s roll.

I'm not saying that it's completely horrible but Outlaw and Rampage just isn't a great combination for a Hand Cannon
