Right now heavy drops every 30 seconds in clash competitive. This make it so strategies that are not based on map control are not viable. Heavy should drop 2 times in the match so the match does not only focus on control over heavy.

11 AntwortenJust remove the heavy from competitive. Heavy requires little to no skill and is often the deciding factor for who is going to win the round. It has no place in the competitive game mode. Period.
-
3 AntwortenBack in my day, heavy only dropped one time a match. Damn kids and yer vidya games.
-
remove heavy from comp and i would go as far as to say remove special ammo too
-
just one round of heavy like the good old days will be perfect now
-
"Strategies not based around map control" often means playing like pussies and headglitching as a group in some obscure location... That said, the heavy spawn LOCATIONS need to be reworked because on some maps, if you win the initial heavy spawn you basically win the game.
-
2 Antwortenhmmm how about controlling the zone around heavy to ensure your team has it? granted when your solo its tougher to control heavy but thats what comps about aint it? better strategies against the opposing team one of them being dictating who takes the heavy
-
Maybe like every 1-2 minutes?
-
1 AntwortenI agree, except when my team controls heavy, then I strongly disagree.
-
Just remove heavy from competitive. Bungie need to hire a competitive designer.
-
8 AntwortenBearbeitet von MC_3_TTV: 10/6/2018 9:20:58 PMIt should just be removed, along with supers. Those are two zero-skill mechanics that absolutely do not belong in a mode called "competitive"

1 AntwortenIt's either reduce its spawn or have it spawn in random spots. So people can't just camp one area the whole match.
-
I agree. In every pvp mode it’s annoying that the first 30 seconds of a match are always a fight for the ammo crate. The first ammo crate should be delayed to one minute and 30 seconds.
-
Meh the entire PvP landscape is ass now. D2 vanilla was pretty tight PvP and most skills were just right on strength etc. Now everything is strong af, so lots power ammo drops are probably needed to keep some balance at this point. Same ppl not thinking this crap through that cried for buffs that are just a dumb as many nerfs caused this probably, and probably the same ppl complaining.
-
2 AntwortenWell that's where you're going wrong. Play around the heavy rather than the map. It sucks, yes, but Bungie isn't likely to change anything anytime soon.
-
Drops within 30 seconds of starting the match which is so dumb lol. Honestly some of the maps really kill pvp for me more then little things like ammo spawn. That stuff is easily tunable. There’s some map that’s literally a ring within a ring with about 15 small doorways. The map designs seems catered to bad players not toward actual map control power positions etc which is where the heavy should be spawning. 2 points semi centrally where you need map position to get them and some actual map control or a decent set up in competitive. You don’t just spawn in and hey there’s heavy hanging out on the edge of the map right next to spawn.

Strategies should be based on map control. It gives a team a huge advantage. You can’t ignore that. However, heavy ammo does drop too much.
-
Bump. 2 times a game would be perfect. Would open other strategies than just controlling power the whole game

BIG upvote

Agreed, heavies take away the skill. Honestly heavies should only drop once or twice
-
Heavy in all PvP. Not necessary at the current rate.

Like its been said.. its free kills lol since people just blindly run to it

Nope. It's bait. :P Didn't downvote but I don't agree.
