“Masterwork cores have a misleading name”
Do they though? Are you sure they just weren’t made for Masterworking stuff, then unnecessarily thrown into the new infusion system? Saying that their name is misleading is like saying “TV Remote” is a misleading name because you decided use it to beat the shit out of someone.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Qeylis: 9/29/2018 8:10:57 PMThat'll shut us up! Bungie seems like they're going down the same path they followed with D2. Lie over and over again (documented), maybe some idiots will believe. Fix the Masterwork cores Bungie. Changing the name isn't fooling anyone!
It's time for us to get loud.
That's Bungie Logic. Everyone else sees an obvious problem with a very straightforward solution. Bungie treats everyone as if they're stupid and then finds an incredulous way to not solve that problem. -
3 AntwortenBearbeitet von DrPhilaBole: 9/30/2018 12:28:02 AMThe obvious problem is they just named Destiny 2 wrong...... Y1 = Eververse. Y2 DLC= RotS. Rise of the Streamer.

17 AntwortenI'm so -blam!-ing mad right now after reading that bullshit TWAB. Also, still loving how all of my year 1 gear has been gimped. Might as well just trash it. Fun stuff, thanks Bungie. The Forsaken update has been just the -blam!-ing worst, shittiest update. I have no clue what Bungie was thinking with any of this shit, all I can do is speculate that they've gone video game developer senile. They're misplacing things and forgetting stuff left and right, it's like they have dementia.

3 AntwortenI agree that it’s a -blam!-ing joke. Almost as big a joke as their ‘exotics aren’t decrypting like we intended - too many duplicates’ as if that hasn’t been a major complaint since TTK dropped and something they’ve failed to rectify every single time. It’s almost as big a -blam!-ing joke as shader recycling. Really? You couldn’t just have people hit a button for delete, then have a slider to adjust the number of items you wish to delete as well as a button for ‘select all’? Kinda been a thing in other games for decades... That being said, Destiny players be like: “Needs more grind. Little more. Liiittle more. Liiiiiittle more. Too much, take it back.”

3 AntwortenLmao, the infusion system made the game unplayable and i really cant be assed logging back in until they remove them. I know a lot of others are feeling the same about infusion and how unrewarding it is. Bungie just cant seem to get things right, but i guess weve all come to expect that by now.

12 AntwortenMasterwork Cores are gonna be renamed to "Unobtainium"
-
3 AntwortenI've gotten 11 since I started back up again and some were totally by accident dismantling weapons I thought sucked then last minute "oh -blam!- shouldn't of done that". I didn't recall finding even 1 anywhere that wasn't from a decent weapon.

24 AntwortenWe realize that calling them exotic drops is misleading. We will come up with something more appropriate to call our streamer gifts. Until then we hope you enjoy a few more edge transits.

Bearbeitet von chill_shot85: 9/29/2018 3:32:07 PMI usually don't message on forums, but if they want to add the "Masterwork Core" to the infusion list... why not only need 1 when upgrading from level 9 to 10. So you still need the coveted MWC, but it actually does what it says... turns the item for a full fledged Masterwork. And you only need 1 to complete the upgrade.
food for thought
Just need to make them drop from more places and the problem would be solved, seems pretty simple to me.

You! I like you 😹😹

3 AntwortenDon’t worry man they are gonna fix the game by changing the name of things
-
17 AntwortenWell lets ask the simple question. If they were always called "Exotic Shards" would people be still complaining about them being part of infusion?
-
I like how everyone asked to remove master works from infusion but they said “nope” your going to have to use them still. They will probably makes us do stupid quest that give one or two. I just have a feeling that they are going to fudge it up.
-
Why do the call it “taking a sh1t”... That’s pretty misleading also. Your a really “leaving” a sh1t” cause I’m certainly not gonna take it with me after I leave it

3 AntwortenI'm pretty perplexed at their nigh audacity to say that infusion should be "meaningful". Know what's meaningful to me? Being able to look the way I want and use the gear I want without having to grind NONSENSE for hours on end. Nah, instead they want people to look like drug addled lunatics that went ham on a costume factory reject pile because they don't want to put in the work of adding a better variety to their content, instead opting to add in pointless and unnecessary changes to merely exponentially increase game time if someone doesn't want to look like a damn idiot. The system as it is just limits and restricts players. It does not make anything mean more when there's not enough content to get cores out of, reliably or otherwise. At least they fixed the ridiculous standards for the Iron Banner bounties, but that really isn't that noteworthy of a change in the grand scheme of things.

5 AntwortenShould drop a single MW core everytime we fill our XP bar, just like motes of light in D1. Along with bounties or being able to purchase the matterweive consumable.

It more like saying “TV Remote” is a misleading name because although they were originally meant to control your TV, most today control multiple devices.

Bearbeitet von xcutioner_0: 9/28/2018 10:35:18 PMYep! Bungie, dodging the question again as always. These "solutions" won't work if Masterwork Cores aren't like how Motes of Light worked and dropped in D1. That's why the infusion system in D1 (which is almost identical in D2 now) worked. Because Motes weren't a very rare material to come by and you didn't need to earn them one by one.

Bearbeitet von Rocket3497: 9/30/2018 6:11:25 AMInstead of doing all the stuff they’re probably going to change, they should just make a core cost only 20 from spider with no increase in cost, period. Masterworking a weapon should have more meaning in my opinion. It should open up another slot for you to plug in an additional mod.
-
Bet they will make them purchasable with Silver because you know Bungie is money hungry as ever.
-
Lol misleading because they were created to.... masterwork gear....who woulda thought that might be "misleading" Some moron with a single digit IQ just decided to add them as an additional infusion ingredient to burn through people's reserves and extend the pointless grind.

Bungo not respecting our time or ingelligence. Did you read the point about exotic drops being both rare and impactful? They’re both rare and impactful, but the impact is the disappointment & frustration of the player base. I wonder if that was “as intended”?
