Is The EP Shotgun Still Worth Grinding For?
So I missed out on obtaining this during the Warmind era. If I took the time to search for a team and farmed for the Ikelos_SG would it be worth it? Like, is it still the powerhouse it once was?

Finally around like 20 attempts later I’ve finally got it!

I played a gambit match before and the enemy team lasers the boss in 1 second with the EP shotgun and sleeper simulant. I've said this before to the devs, sleeper simulant needs huge damage drop off and for the EP shoot, small bore needs to be changed so that it only activates after a melee [b]kill[/b], NOT a hit. EDIT* I MEANT TRENCH BARREL. TRENCH BARRREEEELLLLLL!!!

Definitely. It's still one of the best shotguns in the game. This is changing the topic a little, but does anyone know why people use it in PvP? It's good in PvE, but I see absolutely no reason to use it against other players. The trench barrel perk is almost useless, and full auto shotguns are never really that strong PvP as long as you can aim.

Yes. And it's EVEN MORE POWERFUL on the mega rift Dawnblade. You get empowered on melee hit for 8 seconds, as well as the melee hit shotgun buff. And, of course, you can use luna boots too. And a healing rift (because you're already empowered) And yeah...

I was just running EP with a bunch of randoms last night and got one to drop after just a few trys. I am new to the game and not real informed on the perks or masterwork levels etc but the shotgun definitely is a beast.

Ep shotty is still the most OP shotty in game. I Still use it and still bring the power forward. Also it's masterworked from warmind time. So it's even more beautiful. Almost at 600 but 10 more power and maybe I can attempt the shattered throne final boss room.

Let’s put it this way. You rarely see a thread here where pretty much everyone agrees. That shotgun is incredible and definitely still worth whatever effort you end up putting forth.

Without a doubt! One of the best WEAPONS in the game and I SELDOM use shotguns.
