Exotics are just a Lil too rare.
Yep I know they'll be those out there that just love to grind for everything, but there's grind and there's GRIND.
I don't mind the grind if I can see a Lil light at the end of the tunnel, like the grind for the Chaperone or Ace of spades, you know if you work at it, and succeed we'll be rewarded.
But with things the way they are now, In theory you could play every day for a year and never get a new exotic, just repeats from year one.😬
Something about this needs a tweak, as all it'll eventually breed is contempt and anger toward the constant repeat drops, and lack of new ones, Edge transit comes to mind, two Prime engrams yesterday, both decrypt into that garbage.
If Bungie can quickly fix the Sleeper due to minor complaints, they should hurry up and fix this as there are literally thousands online complaining, roll on Elder Scrolls 6 and Anthem; save me from this pointless unrewarding grind.

I got my first exotic engram drop today and it was a Sparrow from Warmind. Why is that even a thing, if an exotic engram drops I expect to receive a piece of exotic armour or a weapon not a sparrow.

Dude the only exotics I ever got in D1, I had to buy from xur no joke. I got 5 drops, 3 of them were the dragonsbreath, a limp dick compared to ghally, and they STILL nerfed or nothing it. In D2 half the exotics I've unlocked once again, I've had to buy. So needless to say from D1 day one to now, I've never really received exotics.

My issue is the fact that the only exotics that have dropped have been year 1. I got lord of wolves but that was from a spider bounty where it's supposed to drop. This is the aggravating part. Sure I get exotics are rare, but wtf, they're all year 1 which I have.

There's got to be a happy medium somewhere. I've gotten 4 hard lights. That's it. I want that omfg feeling when I get one, but so far it has been the extreme opposite feeling.

I have two new exotic weapons and no armor. I get that Bungie wants them to be rare and because there are only a handful of new ones they have to be ULTRA rare to seem worthwhile. The drops in this game are crap at any level. Had three powerful capes in a row. Today three powerful helmets in a row. Cunts.

That's an understatement. Based on my RNG I won't be able to complete my collection of Forsaken exotics until year 3. Not even including annual pass DLC exotics! 8 exotic drops, 0 Forsaken.

I haven't received a single forsaken exotic (aside from Ace of Spades) and I've lost all hope that I'll ever get one to drop. I got a jade rabbit and lucky raspberry, but not only did I already have both of them; they weren't even powerful. This is so damn annoying, not even Xur can find any.

I dont really think drop rate should change all too much I would prefer a smart loot system be employed to prioritize exotics you dont have over the exotics that you do.

1 AntwortenI might agree here. If say after x amount of hours you have not received one the drop rate should begin increasing exponentially. If you have received 2-3 in 24hrs there should be a decreasing drop modifier too though. Guy I play with has gotten daily exotics since launch and even since Forsaken's drop he's managed 1-2 a day... I think he's paying bungie under the table... and what do I get? Aeon Safe.... No. Just No.

Edge Transit is always an infuriating drop, so is that Kinetic SMG but its nowhere near as common as Edge Transit.

3 Antwortenguys, problem solved. Did two heroic public events in Rheasilvia and second boss kill of day dropped the cerberus plus1. Wasnt even in the chest. Just a gigantic yellow engram. It was so large I didnt realize thats what it was I thought it was something for a quest . looks like with the changes they made today they may have under the hood changed drop rates?

2 AntwortenI've gotten 3 Fosaken exotics but the funny thing is, I got them all while leveling. I have only gotten old exotics since I capped.

It should be more frequent. For the folks saying they love the grind...just delete whatever you get if exotics drop for you...extend that grind!

I’m pretty sure I have found like 10-15 exotics so far. Obviously a mix of new and old but an exotic is an exotic.

got me my 4th year 1 repeat today (happy day's indeed) sadly i still have nothing new for my hours grinding hopefully this week i may have some luck hint hint bungie shine some of that streamer luck on me
