R.I.P. Ace of Spades quest (we are the 1%)
Kinderguardians will never know what it’s like to contract stage 5 cancer from bringing a hand cannon to a sleeper fight, and somehow finding the willpower to do it enough times to win 5 of those impossible battles.
I demand a special ornament for Ace that has 5 tally marks on the barrel written in the blood of the sleeper wielding cancer patients I had to put down to get it. Only those who pushed through pre-quest nerf can obtain it. And it should be sold for 5 easy payments of 19.95
Edit: I completely forgot that satire is not conveyed very well in text format. #1 most trigrd community in the galaxy.

1 AntwortenI have yet to complete the AoS quest, I feel I’m a descent enough player to get the gambit kills, due to my own preference I have yet to get any descent or anything legendary hand cannon at all, seriously, unless an edge transit counts, that’s the only reason why I haven’t completed mine just yet, I’ve wiped a few teams with my Antiope D and used a super and verse visa with an invader coming into my area, I seriously haven’t got a damn hand cannon to drop for me

2 AntwortenSo I did the quest last week, and I gotta say it wasn't so bad. Buuuuuuut I've rarely used the new Ace. I've mained a Hunter since D1, so I got to use the original when it came out in the Taken King. I think having used the weapon before kinda made me feel lukewarm on getting it in D2. It's still [i]good[/i]. Idk, I'm just not hyped on it. It did help me get up in Light level though. So I can't really complain lol.

It wasn't impossible to get 5 invader kills. Invaders spawn at the furthest point away from the current wave of enemies. If there are waves of enemies on your radar right in front of you and you get alerted about an invasion, then the blip on your radar BEHIND you is obviously the invader. Bravo Bungie. Catering to the incapable once again...

Meh it’s not really an issue. It just means ppl don’t like earning exotics they want them handed to them. Which has always been the case with the destiny fan base.

I earned mine and I don't care a bit that they nerfed the quest. Doesn't impact my life in the least. People were just party chatting and LFGing to find people doing it and arranging to meet and farm them anyway.

I’m pissed that I spent all of that time trying to kill invaders with a hand cannon while they were shooting at me with Sleeper and Whisper... Should have just sat it out and waited for Bungie to cave to the whiners again. We all knew it was going to happen. It’s what they do. They should at least give out an emblem for people who did the quest as originally intended.

We all knew it was gonna happen eventually. I don't regret the time I spent combatting sleeper meta trash, just to get mine though.

It wasn’t nearly as hard a quest as I thought it would be. I don’t understand why everyone is frustrated and I’m ok, I’m not a great player or anything.
