What was your favourite lore part about the Forsaken expansion?
so this is mainly a spark of curiosity, I know people’s opinions of the expansion gameplay wise and campaign wise, but I’m interested in everyone’s specific lore views
-
Savathuuns wish is actually insanely cool and scary
-
Unfortunately I cant pick just one because I like a story and I am currently enjoying how they are mostly subtly intertwining the lore so that it fleshes out new storys or hits at them at least between the subjects of the major lore but if I have to pick its the awoken origin lore because its finally a look into a light blessed races backstory amd an explanation on how they came to be "awoken" and I am eager to get more
mara was the 1st
1 AntwortenI was like... WHY WOULD KILL CAYDE??? BBIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH
-
2 AntwortenDefinitely the Queen. I find her an extremely intriguing character and the City's greatest ally.

15 AntwortenVARIKS!
MY LIFE IS FREAKING COMPLETE *faints*
-
2 Antworten
Cayde’s death reactions?
I cried.
-
2 AntwortenDrifter is easily my favorite. I think he can be a great setup for a potential story later on, which is hopefully talked about in the jokers wild
-
3 AntwortenThe fact my waifu is still alive makes me quite happy (the queen)
-
Mithrax and Variks take the spot, Spider has my attention too but not as much as the two Kells, Mara is best non-alien girl to so more lore is always better for her
-
2 AntwortenDrifter, he seems nothing like what a Shadow of Yor should be, yet there’s so many signs that point to him being one, or at least at one point.
-
5 AntwortenRiven is pretty cool. I love how bungie finally used their lore in-game. That whole bit with Toland confirms that he was the same light that guided us through the Dreadnought, the Drifter is Dredgen Yor (based on Cayde's message to him), and so many others. But Riven is definitely my favorite, always had a thing for the Ahamkara.
-
1 AntwortenAnything related to Shin Malphur and Dredgen Yor will always be my favorite. And that’s why the Drifter is catching my eye. It’s implied he’s a former member of the Shadows of yor, and that Shin Malphur is hunting him. Caydes little voice messages from “Ace in the Hole” give reference to this, The Drifter is asking for a bodyguard, and the title for completing gambit triumphs is Dredgen. How that story will end is gonna interest me though.
-
I really like the Drifter lore 👍
-
2 AntwortenThe drifter is hinted multiple times at being Dredgen Yor, which Is really -blam!-in cool and slightly confusing
-
3 AntwortenToss up between the Queen and the Drifter. The Ace quest line makes me theorize about who the drifter actually is.
-
8 AntwortenAll of the cayde lines for the last ace of spades mission brought a tear to my eye....
-
-
The overall lore of the awoken, we learn that there are many cities like the dreaming city which makes me think if there are more races that have a king or queen and do they all have a thrown world and what are the other uses of the awoken ‘dimensions’ if you want to call them that.
-
2 AntwortenGimme some variks lore
-
For me it's a tie between Variks and the Barons, I just really love Fallen lore
-
For me it was the fallen and uldren. Not really Uldren, just the part with the black garden.
-
My favorite lore part? I can’t decide. All of it was amazing. But I have to say, I’m most curious about Riven and her story from this point on
-
Toss up between riven and the drifter both have great stories
-
4 AntwortenRiven. Definitely Riven. I definitely hoped to see her in some sort of cutscene. Meeting her will be very exiting.
