Since last Tuesday it has been a constant struggle for ammo in PVE! On the live stream y'all said there was a balance so we could play... y'all said it would be challenging but would still be fun. Well, you were sadly mistaken, cause the fun factor and the ammo is not there! Ammo synths would solve these issues!

Your ghost used to be able to make ammo we just dont have ammo synths anymore
-
Odd ammo seems to be dropping consistently. Power ammo seems fine especially with a chance a red bar enemy drops it.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von Midnight: 9/1/2018 12:53:33 AMNot a fan of less ammo. I've never been a fan of less ammo. I always dislike the fact that a guardian, who was just on a ship... With all their ammo gets off of their ship and doesn't bring ammo. What kind of guardian leaves all their ammo before doing anything??? We have a ghost that can summon a sparrow from nothing, but not ammo. We have a ghost that won't let you die and prints out a copy of you like it's nothing, but can't give you ammo.

2 AntwortenYea no heavy is dropping in the whisper mission
-
Yeah, I have felt the pain... in the whisper run...No heavy drops...3 runs where I was just a heavy drop away lol Oh well I still got 2 days...

I played Gambit today with my Titan and the no ammo drop situation is getting very very annoying. I even have armor on that "supposedly" increases the drop rate of Heavy ammo, and I honestly can not see any difference in getting more. Also, unfortunately my Titan did not get armor that drops more special, so any special ammo weapons are essentially useless to me. I pretty much have to run Risk Runner and Arc Titan and sporadically grenade myself to get ammo for my weapons. This is broken Bungie and i have decided to hold back on ordering Forsaken until you say something about. I'm not ordering a game where I have no fornicating ammo because it's broken and you won't answer us at all.

33 AntwortenAt this point, I'm convinced y'all are literally making stuff up in order to make the game look worse. I have more ammo than I know what to do with in any activity other than crucible, and the same can be said about all my clan mates. Enjoy the game kids.

Bearbeitet von WaylandLoner: 9/2/2018 4:11:01 PMthis system is stopping me using special ammo weapons on two characters, and will also prevent people experimenting. i think the aim was to make shotguns and snipers a little more relevant? well unless they are primary ammo, which there is tons of when im playing, i cannot use any of them to try out even if i wanted. reason? if i swap from one primary ammo to another primary... depending on which weapon it is i lose much of the ammo. if i swap to a different ammo type im punished by losing all ammo in that slot. i run with crimson. i keep sweet business to swap to for public events. when i swap from full ammo crimson to sweet business, i got 900 ammo. i refill it after the event, and swap and crimson (which i swapped from when it was full) is now at 235 ammo not 534. now i get a special ammo sniper. i usually run my hunter with 3 energy autorifles, i swap from full ammo because the sniper would be really useful and it has ZERO AMMO. i swap back, dismantle the special ammo weapon since its never going to have ammo because without ammo i cant shoot it and cant cause special ammo to drop. now my primary ammo autorifles in enrgy slot have no amme. so from trying to deal with a sniper vandal at range with a sniper rifle swap, im forced to run toward it in the open so i can get close enough to use my range nerfed Crimson! the system punishes for swapping ammo type. so it isnt encouraging anyone to experiment its setting their loadout in stone. it must be a nightmare for new characters - particularly if they are a new player of destiny2! i remember using whatever weapon i had during the shard mission, as soon as i got a better weapon it got equipped or else i was toast! doing that now if its a different ammo type will leave you with nothing but grenades and melee. thats not acceptable. personally i want either no ammo loss when swapping and ammo in picked up weapons OR every time you swap i expect to see a snow storm animation of bullets as the weapons all dump their entire ammo and reserves on the ground around you, in a form you cant pick up again.

1 AntwortenUpvoting if nothing else than for ammo synths. The removal of ammo synths was, as far as I can tell, a way to punish the majority for the abuse by the minority and another way for Bungie to force us to play their way. Well, as D2Y1 proved, forcing us to play your way, Bungie, was an epic fail and nearly wiped out your entire community. Logically speaking, forced ammo scarcity as a means of increasing difficulty in a game where bullet sponging is the method of choice by the developers to add "difficulty" is incredibly stupid and counter productive. It takes heavily away from the fun of the game, especially when we have to keep doing suicide runs for ammo, and turns most of the endgame content into a drudge.
-
I am all for synths returning if they can find a quicker way of applying them. It takes far to long to enter the menu screens to do anything on PS4. Shortcut mapping to the D-Pad and do away with some of the emotes. Not going to happen though.

Ultra's/majors need to drop ammo as before, on xbox ammo has actually been falling through the floor :/
-
We don't even have the random rolls that have ammo perks yet, and ammo isn't even a concern.
-
1 AntwortenNo shortage of ammo for me.
-
1 AntwortenI agree that ammo synths coming back would be useful. However, we don't know what future encounters look like and how they would impact the game. At this point, ammo synth with a cooldown would definitely be welcome. If boss encounters would be imbalanced with this addition, then put a lockout on synths for encounters to encourage the "synth up before you go in" play style. However, a cooldown would help accomplish this sufficiently. That being said, go check out some of the exotics at Xur carrying the new random armor perks, some of those include increasing heavy and special drop rates. This may be the solution already in place, just not entirely pushed out to the community until Forsaken hits.
-
1 AntwortenIt is because Destiny is a fake game. Combat is designed for easy killing and relax. When they try to make real challenge shit hits the fan. Weird mechanics, spongies, no ammo etc. Dont get me wrong, I love Destiny but sometimes really hate shit that Bungo do to us.
-
4 AntwortenI personally find the ammo drops quite common, infact i sometimes see loads of ammo drops litter the floor, i suggest you stop spraying and aim with more Precision?

If possible I wouldn't mind the ammo economy to function they way it did before. Majors and bosses drop heavy and Minors drop primary or special. Tbh it was really comfortable this way

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von mja calg: 9/1/2018 6:37:47 PMThis is now happening in Gambit too. The harder and more numerous the enemies, the less and less Special and Heavy ammo is dropping. Since Bungie refuses to even a acknowledge this issue, I'm guessing it isn't a bug. It's intended behavior and they simply don't care. And I don't want Synths, I want them to sort out their RNG Ammo to what it was before Tuesday. What good are "Random Rolls" and Awsome new Exotics when there is no fornicating ammo for them! Edit: Have not ordered Forsaken and right now, not seeing anything that justifies the $55 CDN Base Forsaken for it.

2 AntwortenLearn to get crits only stop depending on heavy

8 Antworten...people have run out of things to complain about so now they complain about ammo? Not one time in this pre load have I run out of ammo, red bars are dropping heavy and special like crazy and kinetic ammo has never been a problem. Either you’re a terrible shot or you’re talking out of your ***
and to think we’re going to get armor perks that boost ammo drops. People will still complain
-
4 AntwortenHasn't been dropping since the demo, and we were told that was an old build, well it's still not dropping a year later.
-
4 AntwortenYou know Bungie design weapon slots and the way they are controlling the more powerful weapons are with ammo. I hope you don’t think they was going to be as liberal with the special and power has they once was.
-
Just die and you will get more
-
1 AntwortenAgreed, especially in the Leviathan. We have to do 2-3 ammo runs per encounter and then hope some one doesn’t screw up and cause a wipe. We can kill all the adds in the Dog room and see nothing, and I mean not a single drop.
-
I wanted to use shotguns on the primary slots since I started playing d2 but the way it is now... simply not viable even in PvE. 21 shots for a shotgun last exactly 2 min if u are very conservative and even with 2 armor perks to enhance special ammo drops it still runs dry 50%of the time and that's not all the perk that enhances the ammo count u get from the drops u can get is simply not working u can get 6 or seven with or without it...

6 AntwortenIf you got lucky the new forsaken flashpoint armour might have heavy ammo perk.
