Edit: I tried it. I retract my statements. It still works well.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Liam_Evs_: 8/31/2018 9:32:06 AMFeels like to me it's both a buff and nerf. Disappointed you now don't get your grenade energy back straight away when tethering a group of enemies. Tethering and then throwing a grenade in was a great way to control crowds of adds. Conversely I like the fact you get more super energy back depending on the 'level' of enemy tethered (get pretty much 50% back when tethering a single ogre in EP) but then miffed that you don't get it back when tethering a group of lower level adds like thralls. This for me is Bungie all over. Rather than adjust the content to better support gear like this and weapons (Gally always springs to mind) they simply nerf stuff or remove items altogether. Anytime you remove things from the game you're slowly killing it in my view. I just wish Bungie would make their damn minds up on how they want this game to play. In the few years it's been running we're pretty much back to D1 perks/rolls and they wonder why people complain so much! Make better content would be the way to go but that seems completely beyond them. Will be purchasing Forsaken but this is my last DLC purchase. Once Anthem comes out I think I'll be gone from this game for good.

Most stupid change they made. I don't get it.
-
4 AntwortenAgreed, running it in raids is now completely useless. Only experienced people could handle it, what a waste now.
-
So you posted based on patch notes?

Upidstay oybay.

13 AntwortenSimple, It was too difficult to give other classes something as strong as this in PVE so they had to bring it down. Same with Worm husk. Simply put, because Hunters have been easy mode for a long time with these exotics. I have a Hunter and use it so yes I know what I am talking about. Any one who didn't see this coming and who cant see the justification I guarantee is a Hunter main and probably a bias one at that.

1 AntwortenMay you change your tittle then??
-
Damn well. It works damn well.
-
5 AntwortenIts not nerfed, its buffed like damn. Did you actually try it? You get a tiny bit less energy and thats it. You get 50%+ of your super back when you tether a boss which before was like 5% so I dont know what the -blam!- you're complaining about.

Bearbeitet von Myst3riousGam3r: 8/29/2018 6:36:28 PMI thought it was a nerf at first too but I agree that it is an ok change. To address the fact that it wasn’t something that was asked for, with Gambit coming out pre-rework Orpheus rig would have been too op and would have made it so that each team needed a Nightstalker with Orpheus to not be at a disadvantage before the start of the match. While Orpheus can still give full super back, it is a lot more balanced for Gambit since it, from what I can tell, is mostly filled with red health bar enemies.
-
They actually made it easier for you to get your super back. It's no longer based solely off of number of enemies tethered but type of enemies as well. Tether a few majors or even an Ultra and you'll see the difference. Good job bitching before actually trying it out.
-
they tried to make it work just as well but not cause lag as it did for most people when tethering many adds.
-
The still works great. It's nice that you came on the forums to complain about something you haven't even tried yet though.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lyrro: 8/28/2018 8:30:02 PMBecause Bungie doesn't know how to do "moderation"... there is only buffed to the extreme or nerfed into the ground. There is no middle. I haven't heard of the nerf yet, though I have noticed many times when my Orpheus Rigs only give me a slight boost to my super charge when used rather than filling it despite snaring 10+ enemies, but I've just been assuming that it's just another of the game's bugs that Bungie isn't going to address due to it's lack of involvement with Everse. Rule of thumb; if it's not working right, it's probably just a bug, not a shadow nerf. If it is a bug, don't expect it to get fixed unless it directly affects Eververse.

5 AntwortenCan we talk about why the HELL they would nerf the FIRST aftershock of a Titan slam? Who the hell was asking for this? It seems like they were like ahhh let’s buff shoulder charge and hmmmm yea let’s say we at least nerf’d something... how about the first aftershock?
-
5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Acalson: 8/28/2018 11:38:07 PMIts actually not that bad though, you just don’t get your super faster. This stops people from just tethering 1 after the other in raids.
-
Not nerfed. Fixed.
-
1 AntwortenI thought it was a huge nerf, then I tried it out.... ohhhh boy. you get one Major in your teather and you only need 4 other grunts to get full super. Back. Try it in the lost sector on Futurescape
-
I was doing a few strikes with it and it actually felt just as good, definitely didn't appear like a nerf to me.

Bearbeitet von Lucky: 8/29/2018 7:28:34 AMSo the exotics that "were modified" for Titans and Warlocks all got buffed, but the Hunters got nerfed into the ground with one exception Celestial Nighthawk. The WH I agree with but OR come on man. No one asked for this...
-
1 AntwortenThey not only needed an exotic that every player loved, even the other classes, but they further insulted hunters by throwing in some “buffs” to other exotics that only someone that didn’t play hunter would think were buffs.
-
I can swear that they made the statement “we learned not to nerf everything into ground in order to lvl them with everything else but to enhance other exotic to compete with the already good ones” I can swear they DID say sth along the line of that. But they nerfed Orpheus 😆
-
Because Bungie can't fix anything without -blam!-ing up 20 other things.
-
1 AntwortenSomeone be a pal and drop a quarter in the "We didn't ask for THIS" Jar, please.
-
They make you use other exotics and praise them for it.
