Spicy Ramen Quest
Starting this topic for Guardians to share their info on how to proceed with this quest, which will hopefully appear later.
Inspired by the community helping each other with the whisper quest, and hoping to mirror that with this.
Please post any info related to advancing this quest.
22/08/18 There has been a GIF posted on Twitter by dmg04 in reply to an ask of "is there a next step" which is NO. Take what you will from that, I hope that this means it is all one quest and no "steps" as such.
I have also heard rumors of a jumping puzzle near the broken down truck by Maevic square, but this is not confirmed.

Is it possible it has something do to with after he dies, then you place the ticket near his statue or something as remembrance?

The next step is to purchase an item from XUR. Sure it's expensive, but who isn't sitting on a pile of Glimmer? The coupon will then become an VALID coupon. You bring the coupon back to the Ramen shop, and they ask you to collect their tools from the GHAUL mission. Then you return to the Ramen Shop, and they give you a GIFT for Cayde-7. Cayde-6 refuses the gift, and you have to sit on it until Cayde-7 appears in the game. This grants you access to the Ace of Spades quest. Surprise... it's just early access to the quest, for playing Destiny 2 in year 1 during this week of absolutely nothing to do, if you are an active player. Everyone else that waits until Season 4 expansion, will have to get the Ramen Coupon, from another source.

11 Antwortenit's been confirmed no additional steps after collecting the ticket it's literally for the ticket and nothing else. I'd still keep a hold of it just incase there anything in the future though!

I think that is funny that in the lore for the ticket it says:..."cayde-6 not seven". Cayde might be back in the future as cayde-7 and the ticket will bring his memories back? Shot in the dark!

7 AntwortenIf you read the lure on the spicy ramen ticket cayde hints that the ramen place has golden age secrets. Maybe a quest for his gun and also at the end it hints about a cayde 7 so he’ll probably be returning better

Sorry to say it but been working on this "Spicy Ramen Quest" since it showed up yesterday. Watched countless videos, read many web sites including twitter. In hopes someone has found a step 2 to this quest. Which all has failed with trying countless ways to get step 2 of quest. People have even checked out on Destiny 1 looking for answers. Which none there known so far. Either this is the only step to the quest pick up the expired coupon or Bungie is trolling us all badly. Could be futher steps to quest down the road. Who knows, just right now nobody has uncovered "Spicy Ramen Quest" step 2 yet if there's another. If anyone has uncovered step 2, let us all know. Thanks.

Maybe you have to go to the remains of the ramen shop in the chosen redux mission. It shouldn’t be hard to miss as it has the iconic neon ramen sign.

2 AntwortenI have two theories, the first is simply that it’s a time gated quest. I believe we have four possible times it could related to. 1. Today at reset 2. Friday at reset 3. The next weekly reset (start of year 2) 4. At the end of the first forsaken mission (upon caydes death) My second theory is that it has to do with the fact that we can pick the coupon up more than once. This leads me to believe we might have to do the exact hidden task or activity directly after picking the item up and if we don’t it becomes useless so we have to discard the old one, pick up a new one and guess again at what to do to get the next step.

DMG said there was no second step but Im not so sure, maybe he meant for yesterday. If it was just to pick up the coupon why when you entered the tower you had a quest symbol at the spicy ramen shop and when you hovered over it, it clearly said quest. A quest isnt just picking up a token. In the description it has WOW written. Im thinking the whisper mission maybe and the vex portal by the oracles with an image of the past. I wonder if its time gated and we get to go through it on friday when the whisper mission is back. I would deffo rule out anything to do with D1 because PC players dont have access to it. Just my thoughts.

3 AntwortenThe second step has been found, but you need to wait until Trials comes back in year 2. You have to win 8 Trials matches in 24 minutes to unlock step 3.
