Bungie recently stated in the TWAB that less than 9,000 players have the Claymore, which is less than 2.5% of the crucible population (400k daily). It is also less than 1% of the entire Destiny 2 player base.
What happened to 40% getting it? What a failed system
Edit: It is interesting to note that the few defending the current competitive system are mostly elitists &/or people who get paid to do recoveries/carries ($150-$1000 per customer). They cheat the system & prey on players’ desire to obtain the weapon, especially in the limited time-frame it is available.
Edit 2: the user SebastienC did the numbers and it is actually 0.86% of players active in competitive that have the Claymore. What’s the point of producing a unique gun that 99% of the player base will never get? Why not make something for half the players at least?

I dont blame anyone for no wanted to go for it. No radar. U get kicked alot. On both sides. Ppl leave in solo que. Graviton lance and v wings are beasts and over used. Lol i can go on
-
It’s not worth it. There are so many guns you could use to outplay redrix.
-
18 AntwortenIts not worth getting
-
That percentage would have doubled if comp had a radar. The claymore will be a god once ttk changes come into effect and all the graviton crutch players jump ship
-
im not surprised competitive trash gun aint better than the graviton or vigilance destiny being competitive still a joke i rather it not go that route anyway
-
It’s not that the gun isn’t good. It’s excellent. You just have to go through hell to get it, which understandably is not something players have to do.
-
1 AntwortenIt will be obselete soon, no I'm not talking about Forsaken I'm talking about Red Dead Redemption.
-
I mean when random rolls are coming out why bother.
-
Seriously? Some people pay money to get it? Shouldn't surprise me after all of the paid Trials carries. I guess people have more money than they know what to do with.
-
I know I'm good enough to get it I just don't go into comp never really liked any of the game modes
-
That's cause the time investment is too great.
-
I’ve never heard of it what is it? And his do you acquire it?
-
Lol it's not that people didn't get it cuz its hard it's cuz u gotta play crucible and in it's current form crucible is trash that's why nobody went for it, guns ttk still isn't better than what I'm currently using why should I even bother.

11 AntwortenFinally, an actual symbol of achievement in this game.

26 AntwortenLiterally the whole point of having ranked Comp rewards was so that not everyone could get them. Just because Bungie's predictions were wrong doesn't mean its a failed system. It means that a large majority of players either dont care for the grind, dont care about the gun, they couldnt get it based on how good they were, or they simply didnt have the time. That doesn't mean the system failed that means that it did its job. I personally don't wanna see every casual with a Redrix, because it dilutes the reward in of itself and defeats the purpose of even getting it.
-
Lmao I couldn't care less bout any gun you get through comp I played enough trials in D1 to know when you get into a competitive type of game mode you will get ddos or lag switchers on the other team nope I'd rather not deal with losing to losers who cheat to win

1 AntwortenI finally saw one in the wild last night. Was killed by it in qp. Was dropped into the losing end of a blowout. My initial feeling was wow. Immediately followed up with why am I matched with this guy?
-
7 AntwortenI like how everyone downvotes my last comment but none of them even try to say that I'm bad like them or that I don't have the gun. People who DO have Redrix, defend yourselves. They literally have no argument if you have the gun.
-
I don't cheat, don't get paid, etc and I believe keeping it the way it is is really the only thing that makes competitive worth playing. I don't mean to be a douche, but it's always the people who CAN'T or refuse to do it, that complain because it's beyond their reach. I agree that amount is stupid low, so maybe next time switch it to maybe...restart valor rank 3 times or something like that, but as of now I think it's fine where it is. I like the idea of a weapon I can't currently get because I'm not ready for it. I like how a piece of gear can drive me to play a game mode and improve. This is my mentality for raids too.

Bearbeitet von CookieNiki: 8/4/2018 4:24:40 PM
Less than 2.5% of crucible Players have the Claymore
That's absolutely no surprise for anyone who plays this game since 2014. Dedicated crucible players always were and still are a minority in this game. The keystone of this game always was and still is PvE. Destiny would be long dead without PvE as much as it would be a much better game without PvP. Also, only a big moron would pay other players for help in get anything in a game.

1 AntwortenBungie need to make this 0.04% easier to get.
-
2 Antworten40% could have it if people actually played Comp 😂
-
7 Antworten1) Bungie never said 40% of players would get it. They said it requires 40% of the experience to reach max rank. 2) It isn’t that good. 3) Far far fewer people make legitimate attempts at getting it. Most players do milestones or occasional pvp- few actually grind competitive.
-
So basically less than 2.5% have persevered with the game after the way Bungie has milked its customers to high heaven.. Not such a good stat to advertise Bungo...
-
I could get it but I see no motivation to do so, I do just fine with my setup so why go out my way and get sweaty and rage for no reason I think the majority of the playerbase has the same opinion ?
