2 AntwortenSplit your team of 3 up individually and go to IO and wait until one of you gets the event then invite the team back.

I have done the platforming 5-10 times just to make sure I have it down for when SoH drops and I boost my power level. I used to hit max level within a few weeks of each DLC but having kids has made that really hard. I'm about 4 months behind the curve. The quest seems awesome, but timegating it and then relying on RNG for the right PE is pretty...well Bungie. They do things for weird reasons, get a lot of negative feedback, and don't back down from their weird decisions because....well Bungie.

Its very easy, actually

done it a few times.

Tried both weekends so far, no dice. Haven't played much this past weekend on it because of other life events. Have a been close to completing it, yes. Am I upset I don't have it, yes, just a tad. Am I going to keep trying? Absolutely. It's difficult. I like the challenge. Despite not obtaining it this weekend as a result of not having much time to do it, my clanmates and I did other endgame activities. I got 3 more Spire completions and can finally do this raid comfortably. I'll just keep trying for the whisper this upcoming weekend. For you other people that don't have it yet, keep trying! Find good groups, and you'll get it eventually just like me. You can't get frustrated when you can't get it. It will just delay your acquisition of it. Now I just have something to look forward to this weekend.

I thought I would run it by myself so I can get better at the jumping part. I got to the first room of enemies with 10 min left. I was surprised because I was able to clear the two rooms of enemies before the boss room solo. If only I had two more people to help me out, I probably would have completed it.

Bearbeitet von rocademiks: 7/30/2018 1:48:47 PMI must have ran that mission at least like 30 times now. Carried a whole bunch of people and farmed it for the blight’s. The situation here is that a lot of these people that want it have not played this game in months because of the current state it’s in. If you’re a 345 light hunter that bad mouthed this game since April and is crying that it’s too hard to get then I don’t feel bad for you. This is a quest aimed at the people who want a challenge and faithfully play this game. We run that mission. 3 fire titans @ 380+ light with lion rampant boots and absolutely make an example of all the enemies. When we finish, we typically have about 4+ min left. First room we go in, pop hammers and light the place up. Done in under 2 minutes. Next room, run in and rock them with melting points/autorifles. Switch up to void autorifles and then run into the next room and mop everything. Have nameless midnight sout as primary to take out snipers in the back and the knights. Next room, 2 go forward one stays back. 2 taken cabal spawns, 1 Titan is already running toward them full force and rocks them with a melting point, jumps back and throws grenade all at the same time. Instant death for them. By that time the pit room is cleared. But before jumping we switch out secondary auto rifle that was void to any good fire scout. Next we enter final room and clear out the blights ( enemies like to hide in them ) I use my WoTW to take them out faster. Then make our way to the area behind the 2 big pillars that you run past to get into the area and take the pregame bosses( that’s what we call them ) out with our scouts/grenades. Once the bosses come out we rock them with our snipers, once we run out of ammo, we switch to Polaris Lance for exotic weapon and any good heavy we have Incase something drops on the floor. We stand there and lay WASTE to them one at a time. The trick is to team shoot. Everyone shoots the same enemy at the same time. Once someone has a Super they go out and use it. Last night we did it and had a few hiccups. Still finished it with over 3 min left. If you’re at the proper light and need help then let me know. I’m on PS4.

Bearbeitet von ReVenant: 7/30/2018 3:31:00 PMI've been running carries since hour one of the first week, so I've been through it about a few dozen times now. I'd say that my biggest set of advice for people having issues with this mission is, first, get the running portion down pact. Practice, practice, practice it until you are consistently getting to the baddie room with 14-15 minutes on the clock. You don't necessarily need that much time to clear the rooms, but, it does give you wiggle room for plenty of errors. So, make that your mark. In the baddie room, rotate supers for Orb generation and use roaming supers: I.E. Raiden Flux Arcstriders, Doomfang Sentinel Titans, and Crown of Tempest Top Tree Warlocks. To keep this short and simple, basically have a roaming Super Clear the "sides" of each main room. For example, there are Knights on each side of the first room that you will want the roaming supers to target immediately and take out. Rotate the supers though, don't all go in and super. Have one player run up one side and clear, then have the other player do the same on the next side until all Knights, Wizards, or Snipers are cleared. The players that aren't in super should run support on clearing the surrounding adds, but try not to die as you want to collect as many orbs from the Supers as possible. If done correctly, you can rotate supers for every room. Make sure that you all save a super for the final room. At least one. In the final room, have a roaming super immediately destroy the back left and right blights and then start clearing whatever is left. The other two teammates should start working on the front two blights (left and right). With these 4 Blights down, you will be clear to DPS the bosses when they do pop up, and they have no place to really hide. Weapons: You need at least a Scout and an elemental Auto/SMG for breaking shields. Fire shields for the knights are the most important if you have to choose what element to bring. If you don't have the WotW Sniper yet (first run), then by all means use Polaris Lance. It does SOLID work in this mission for both the Knights in the clear rooms and on the Final DPS Boss stage. It's your next best thing for boss DPS before WotW. If not running WotW because you don't have it, then for heavy I recommend EP Shotgun/Perfect Paradox (or any Full Auto Shotty) and to keep at least one of the front two blights up so you can use them for cover to get in closer on the bosses. Once you run out of ammo, hang in the back and Scout down the bosses, grab Heavy as able and every utilize Supers on the bosses as soon as they are available. Also, for the bosses, make sure to take out the Taken Knight bosses first, save the Cabal Boss for last. Taking down even 1 Knight Boss right away makes this phase soooooo much easier. Anyways, just a quick and dirty little run-down on what to do. There's slightly more, but I don't want to turn this into a 3 pager guide. If you do these things, you'll be off to a very solid start. EDIT: One final note, if you are a Titan using Hammer Strike, please utilize MK.44's. It will make life so much easier for you and will allow you to pretty consistently land/get off a Melting Point on your boss. Also, if you are doing this Strat, then 100% be running the EP/a Full Auto Shotty as you can immediately follow up your Melting Point with some solid damage and keep your DPS up.

2 AntwortenDone it 4 times last week and twice this week Solo chest run many times - practicing green room jump for 4th chest and completing sunshot catalyst

2 AntwortenPeople are mad at the amount of cabal public events that keep popping up with some people having to wait hours for the taken event to finally pop up. Luckily I only waited nearly an hour and I got mine :)

Did it yesterday. I enjoyed the fight but jumping puzzles are not my thing in a FPS. I don't mind jumping puzzles if I am playing a platform style game. So it is possible for a non jumper to complete this quest.

3 AntwortenOf course it's possible, do you know any activity in any game that is impossible to complete? What would be the point of that? Useless thread.
