Why do titans get modified supers while the other classes get at least two actual new supers?
Sunbreaker = modified hammer that’s big
Sentinel = slightly better block ability with the shield
Striker = still just a fist of havoc but with more control
But warlocks?? Supers aren’t modified, they’re actually NEW. Same with hunters, except arcstrider. I’m really just wondering like..what the heck bungie
edit: I'd love if twilight garrison comes back...and for an exotic that allows titan skating :))))))

Nova warp= handheld detonation of nova bomb Chaos reach= a focused storm caller beam Well if radiance= stabs sword into ground Night stalker= void bladedancer (not new) Blade barrage= a thousand Y1 throwing knives And there the only ‘new’ super is way of a thousand cuts aka blade barrage

1 AntwortenHunters get Arcstaff but you can block Arcblade from D1, BUT VOID Solar novabomb. These supers look new and awesome but aren't new in anyway. Titans got newer stuff than hunters.

2 AntwortenThe new titan shield should be able to deflect things back, which would’ve been more useful (maybe there’s an exotic in forsaken which does that idk.) The new hammer is basically the iron axe from ROI, there should be more movesets to it. I’m completely fine with the new striker super though, looks cool and fun af.

The funny thing here is that Titans were the first class idea, I believe. And Destiny gets to blow it out of the water with the beam thing for the warlocks (A little OP sounding in control)

2 AntwortenI wish I had a modified version of dawnblade instead of another yet boring rift. At least sentinel will be able to deflect projectiles (possibly nova bombs too). The shield has really awesome supportive qualities that promotes good teamwork too

20 AntwortenAnother Titan moaning. As if your supers aren’t already ridiculous. Striker takes out everything within a 3 mile radius and has high mobility along with overshield if wearing certain armour. Double grenade charge on striker.... 17 minute long super recorded for sentinel with doomfang Pauldron equipped (doesn’t sound OP at all). Hammers which have high roaming ability, area of effect damage, OHKO everything in sight except for bosses and yellow bars. Takes 2 golden gun shots to take out but can take out a hunter in GG with a single hammer.... And you’re complaining Titans have a bum deal?? Get real

In my opinion the only super I have gripes with for the Titans is the new Sentinel shield ,I love the Sentinel class to pieces but I was a little disappointed that we would only be getting a bigger shield we could shoot through when compared to other classes ,Kinda feel the same way about the Arcstrider Hunter too But it won’t drown out how please I am with the 7 other new supers !

-shrug- Probably because they had the most solid supers of the 3 classes? I mean. I'm looking forward to the new panic super gunslingers are getting. But it's going to forever be a meme that your using knives in the super on a class called gunslinger. Strider is WOO LOOK AT ME TWIRLING MEH STICK. and nightstalker isn't technically 100% original. Basically took some animations and throw backs from blade dancer. Warlocks beam looks meh. mega rift that does the same thing just bigger. voidlocks super is the only notable one tbh.

17 AntwortenSunbreaker: modified hammer concept that leaves damaging fire tornadoes in it's path, which has the possibility of being one of the best DPS supers on bosses. Sentinel: creates a one-directional bubble, allowing shots out, but not shots in...this is the equivalent of having the Vault of Glass relic as a super. Expect this to absolutely be a dominating clutch super in PvP, especially competitive. And imagine combining this with the new Dawn Blade super in raid encounters. Striker: has a super that allows you to fly over people or adds and impact where you'll do the most damage, completely avoiding the blockers and front line, and striking wherever you can get to. Plus, the longer you fly, the bigger the smash. It's both the most and least inventive thing they could have done, but now we have to watch the sky in PvP, and that's a little scary. It's not as crappy as you're saying it is.

1 AntwortenThe new stormcaller is basically what it is now but after smoking crack and dialing it up to 15. The new Dawblade is basically a glorified rift on steroids The new voidwalker is basically a combination of ionic blink on stormcaller + nova bomb Arcstrider provides for some crazy DPS- counter action The new golden gun is basically a better version of celestial nighthawk in combination with a nova bomb that warlocks have New nightstalker is blade dancer cranked up to 11. New Sentinel is literally an upgrade in every way New Sunbreaker is a hammer meant for close range lethality ( its literally the iron lord axe but has tornadoes) New Striker is a walking predator missle. All of the new subclass trees just give each of the subclasses abilities they couldn’t really do before; they pick off from where the current subclasses lack in. They’re basically completed builds.

You are clearly showing your bias. By your logic all of the new supers are just modified old supers. Sunbreaker - Changes from ranged to melee (huge shift) Sentinel - gives the super a support feature while still being aggressive (something that was missing from the game) Striker - You trade a roaming super for one smash. This is a huge change.

You could argue that the Chaos Reach for Stormcallers is just a modified Stormtrance that’s focused into a beam. I can see where you’re coming from, though. It seems like titans are getting shafted. We will have to wait and see, though.
