Is pretty bad right now, that's my opinion.
Edit : So many of us feel bad and miserable when playing D2 crucible...why continue supporting a company who doesn't care about the fun factor more than your pocket?
Edit: The company that made one of the best and most balanced pvp games, the MLG core, Halo..made also the most frustrating and unbalanced pvp, the Crucible.

i keep getting one shot and i have to land my whole clip to kill someone! anyone else having this problem? yes, i am getting head shots as well.
-
1 AntwortenI’d rather have an unsedated colonoscopy.
-
D1 was a lil bit better

1 AntwortenI enjoy it atm tbh, I solo queue and play when friends are on but I also mix up my load outs, found the NM 340 pulse with HCR competes against VW and Glance, been using the vision instead of my NM subby and the DO sniper feels like 1000YS or longbow (and with a power handling mod it’s snappy af) love crimson and Juan pulse but also ran forward path last night in IB. Imo people are scared to try a non meta because if they get killed once they assume it’s the guns fault not the player.
-
Now, it is lagging piece of shit especially IB.
-
I'm still trying to have fun, but lately it's getting more and more frustrating. It's like suffer suffer suffer until I finally find a match where I can get an actual gun fight instead of just getting zoned and spawn camped by Play of the Game and Tractor Cannon. These proximity-based weapons that encourage NOT aiming have neutered skilled hand cannon play or anything that I actually find fun about this game. Hell, I don't even want to complain about Grav Lance anymore because at least it's a gun fight! I'd rather try to out strafe and out three-tap an opponent at range than spend most of the match running and healing from nade launchers.
-
No I genuinely don't. D2 PvP is BEYOND frustrating and 6v6 wants to make me spike my controller. Honestly I'm almost at the point where I won't touch PvP other than for the milestone. Destiny is one hundred and ten percent inferior to Halo as a PvP experience, and honestly that includes D1 too. Destiny is pretty much a PvE game and that's it for me.
-
Never liked crusible. Only play it to complete the milestone.
-
This game certainly has the wow factor in pvp! The wow factor that makes you think how the f the other guy didnt die but you did! Lol joke aside I dont know what to say to bungie and their development team for making one of the worst pvp experiences ever. From shots registering late or not registering at all to horrid match making system, this game just does not feel good to play. I think I’m done with D2 and anything that offers peer to peer based pvp system.

Bearbeitet von Kemaleon: 7/12/2018 9:34:34 AMAgain there is no real balance, just the feeling that if you don't use a certain set of weapons then you may as well not bother shooting at all. And we all know that the next update will just nerf/buff so we have to use different weapons but the problem will remain. Bungie need to commit to a team size and it seems 6v6 is what they are (reluctantly) coming back to. But the maps need to be a bit bigger, in fact the maps themselves are quite poor in design compared to D1 or anything they ever made for Halo. Supers just seem broken and inconsistent, grenades and melees too. But the biggest issue is still the netcode and network model, of they insist on this client hosted stuff then they need to refine the netcode. Hybrid servers? My arse. It seems to me that Destiny os more reliant on others connections than its ever been and is suffering for it. There were faults with the P2P model for Halo but at least everyone only connected with ONE client. Now we all connect to each other as well as the Destiny account servers and these mythical 'hybrid servers'. It just seems like its asking way to much of everyones domestic internet connections. It needed to be more simple, not more complicated. Whats worse about that in my opinion isn't the obvious lag; teleporting, shot through walls, invincible opponents etc. Its the stuff most players don't notice, or barely. The 'predictive rendering' fills in the gaps left by the netcode, your weapons AA might be off, takes half a bullet extra to kill someone, you feel slower and weaker, etc. The connection looks fine, but the subtle differences take the game away from you and ruin any chance of consistency. I don't see any of this improving, I wish Bungie would just drop PvP entirely.

The skill gap is so tiny it's pathetic Pvp here in D2 revolves around low skill play meant for noobs Flinch and recoil makes teamshooting the meta and always will be until they fix it]
-
Compared to the first game decidedly no. For shame, sandbox team. For shame! Aside from vigilance wing 40% slower kill times and about 40% less movement. After playing destiny 1 for awhile D2 feels like a serious regression.

Bearbeitet von QUANTUM-CHUNGUS: 7/13/2018 12:24:47 PMWhat pisses me off the most is PvP in D1 used to be a great way to kill time until the next reset and you could level up your Crucible rep to try and score yourself a decent weapon. In D2 I just straight up don't want to play it. Call to Arms has replaced Heroic Strikes as the worst milestone. Add to that the 100s of pointless f*cking Crucible tokens I have sitting around with no use.
-
If anyone says that Bungie isn't being greedy, Lupus Visage being 1100 instead of 1000 is telling. Lupus Visage should have been earn-able anyway.
-
I hate it so much that people already leave before the game starts or in mid game even when you are ahead. And then you have no chance anymore. It is so frustrating. Especially in competitive. Also hate the amount of power ammo. There is no primary game in pvp. If there is it is antiope vs last hope. The range ond side arms and smgs is too much. Hand cannons have no role in this game at all anymore. Completely useless because of the range on side arms and smgs. But the most frustrating is the amount of lag, cheaters, ddossers. And Bungie just doesn’t give a F. That’s the sad thing about it. That player reporting tool is just cosmetic bs. It doesn’t report anything.
Is pretty bad right now, that's my opinion. Really want that auto though.
-
It is completely terrible yet I keep playing it. Why? I don't know. It is painful to sit down and play a game against stacked teams using graviton lance and crutching power ammo
-
4 AntwortenIf PVP was removed it would solve most of bungie's Development issues. 1. No more need to Buff/Nerf weapons = Save Money 2. Reduce the post count here by 99% = Saves Money Saving money = making better PVE content
-
1 AntwortenNo. 6v6 is trash. Always has been, in any game. On top Graviton Lance/Vigilance Wing are OP as well as Better Devils STILL plaguing PvP. Also PC hand cannons need a range nerf because the ranges people can cockily engage you is stupid. Hand cannons belong in smg/close-mid auto rifle ranges not pulse rifle or auto rifle long ranges.

Bearbeitet von mauriciobe: 7/13/2018 3:04:35 PMIdk d2 crucible doesn’t feel right unlike D1 which was hella fun
-
I only play Mayhem when it’s on. Regular pvp is so slow and boring I can’t be bothered with it.
-
Milestone. Period. That is all.
-
no. the only time i actually played Crucible was to do the weekly milestone. but once i hit max level........ i just have no reason to go in. haven't played one game of pvp in over 3 weeks now.
-
4 AntwortenI refuse to play even one more match of IB with a playerbase too unwilling or flat out incapable of understanding capturing and holding zones. Destiny is honest to god turning me into a misanthrope.
-
Id rather drag my balls through a field of broken glass.

-blam!- no, lul
