I like the faction rally grind but farming 1000 token gets boring after a while.I think the patrol missions should at lease give 1 renown and one faction token or one or the other and the high vale target needs to have 2 tokens and 1 or 2 renown, and then increase the amount of faction tokens by one after you lose a pvp match and plus have all faction gear and weapons, ghost, sparrow, ship, and shaders equipped to increase the amount of tokens or renown or both. All comments are welcome.

2 AntwortenHit FWC rank 55 after work today. I think it goes pretty quick, but I still wouldn't mind if patrols gave a faction token.
-
2 AntwortenIt takes 12 hours lol that's easy.
-
Its like 6 hours total
-
Nah its not bad just play the game and it's pretty quick already want to switch factions so I can get two done
-
Grinder one day got to 30, played crucible and other stuff casually and am at 45 so I don’t think it’s that big a deal
-
I'm at rank 18 with less than 4 hours of playing and not even grinding for that entire time. It's fine. It's just that some activities should give more tokens simply for the amount of time it takes to complete them, like strikes, compared to doing PEs and lost sectors.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von AeroWraith901: 6/29/2018 1:03:57 AMI think the amount of tokens needed to hit 50 is fine, but things like heroic strikes should reward more tokens instead of 7 (seriously, you can get more than 7 muuuuch faster in patrols).
-
11 AntwortenI have more issue with the reward system, I'm fine grinding though tokens although yes it is boring..but my warlock is now 820 tokens in and still doesn't have a full set of armor (I started out only needing the one piece...I still do not have the one piece...) And of course the (3/5)) Ornaments REQUIRE a full set of gear, which is also required to make the grinding go by faster, so it's not so much that I get frustrated with grinding, it's that it goes unrewarded and that now means it's a waste of time....the full set of armor is supposed to help you grind to 50..I'm well past 50 now and my warlock is still not getting a damn thing...he only ever needed ONE piece!

It takes like three days farming public events on the EDZ. Last faction rally, I did it mainly just by playing a fck ton of Crucible because I was in the mood for it. If you don't have a few hours per day, that's understandable, but 50 really isn't that long of a grind.
-
Not really even if you just do the weeklies on all 3 characters you can get a couple hundred easily and you get multiple faction rallies to get your faction to 50 so you don't have to sit on destiny 2 all day everyday.

I think it’s fine tbh. If you do your daily challenges and a couple runs after throughout the whole week should get you there. 0-50 in a weekend tho will definitely burn you out. I honestly don’t know why people are sweating so hard for these Catalysts tho. It’s doubtful they’d make them limited to just Season 3

Bearbeitet von P3rfectEnemy: 6/29/2018 12:15:05 AMJust hit rank 50 FWC. I started last rally but couldn’t play much. Fun finished it fast this week. Now just trying to get full armor set for my hunter since warlock is done. Next rally I’ll do DO to finish out my hunter armor set from earlier in the year. Like you, I believe we should get more time. Maybe two weeks? Some people just can’t grind that hard!
-
3 AntwortenI would recommend that FWC guardians also grind out the Catalyst as quick as possible. I get the feeling that starting this weekend the best cheese spot is going to be like Grand Central Station for awhile. I just got through unlocking the Catalyst and several players joined the instant obviously looking to do the same thing. A nice shout out to all those randoms because they ALL politely left without interrupting my kill farming. I had heard some pretty crappy stories about other players purposefully sabotaging farming, but imo most Destiny players are pretty respectful in PVE.

Bearbeitet von Miofwin: 6/29/2018 12:00:49 AMIt's called grinding for a reason. Because it's slow and takes a long time. Like grinding wheat into flour. But it makes the rewards more worthwhile. Same reason online job applications take so long, it's still weed out the lazy people who don't want it bad enough. The truly dedicated will finish it and get the reward. The good reward validates the hard work put in.

1 Antwortenit seems like a long grind cause tokens only come from the same very limited activities like public events & Lost sectors if bungie allowed us to earn a good amount of Tokens in Strikes, Daily Missions, Raid, Crucible etc. then grinding to Rank50 would be alot smoother
-
I'm ok with 50 levels being required for the max rank but the rally is too short.
-
Getting to rank 50 and getting the ornaments on three characters is a long boring grind.
-
50 is fine, but the amount of time per faction is too short.
-
I don’t think the 1000 tokens for the Catalyst is too long, rather I think that the period that we have to gather them in is too short. A one week window every month is unrealistically constraining for people with a life outside of Destiny. I am okay with faction commitments for one month (though I prefer the D1 one week) as long as we can continue to earn rep for the faction and turn it in after the FR. I also think that we should be able to earn faction rep in any activity. One idea that I agree with is that if you are displaying your Faction’s emblem then any tokens that one earns in any activity will be faction tokens that you can turn in to your faction. The one caveat is that all faction tokens will be auto-redeemed for faction rep before the start of the next rally (to prevent people from trying to influence the next rally). Tokens that are auto-redeemed will not result in weapons or gear. To allow people to redeem items that they may have then earned they will have a chance to visit their previous faction before pledging to a new one to redeem ornaments/gear/catalysts. However, no new faction tokens can then be earned before pledging to the next faction.

I don't mind it this time though I can see why it bothers many. I also lucked out getting the full armour after 20-odd ranks (started playing in May so didn't have a set from before) so that's speeding things up a fair bit.
-
The problem is renown kind of sucks, lost sectors are boring, and its time gated. The idea of adding grind is good, unfortunately bungie did it in a really crappy way. That seems to be the theme of D2.
-
I do the daily faction thing on each character and the milestones and I’m at 36 right now. It’s really not that grindy.
-
1 AntwortenIt's quite the grind, all right. But I got through it last rally, and I should get through this one. I'm at 29 already: about 580 down, 420 to go. And remember, this is what a lot of players are into, grinding away to get that special piece of loot. I do think Patrol missions could grant at least one token, though. Also, challenges (like Child of the Sun in Crucible or Bane of the Cabal in patrol) should grand a couple. Maybe a few for meditations as well. That might ease the grind, and provide a wider spectrum of activities for reaching the 1000 tokens needed.

5 hours done 🤷♂️ not much of a grind
