Who thinks 50 faction engrams is too long of a grind.
I like the faction rally grind but farming 1000 token gets boring after a while.I think the patrol missions should at lease give 1 renown and one faction token or one or the other and the high vale target needs to have 2 tokens and 1 or 2 renown,and then increase the amount of faction tokens by one after you lose a pvp match and plus have all faction gear and weapons,ghost,sparrow,ship,and shaders equipped to increase the amount of tokens or renown or both.All comments are welcome.

I personally don’t think 50 packages it an extremely long grind, especially considering your progress with each faction is saved.

It'd be nice if you got more bonuses for repping your faction. I hope they introduce more gear-locked content like the upcoming Arms Week. I was wondering if they might make a faction war crucible mode where you match up with people in your faction against another faction, and you can only wear stuff your faction has (or lays claim to via exotic ornaments, catalysts). It would be unbalanced and have long time to match-make, but just a thought. Reached rank 50 and finished my catalyst upgrade this week by Wednesday daily reset. Put on some music (now that you can mute in game music) or listen to some news or podcasts, equip full faction armor and grind away, might as well do ornaments too. It's not bad at all compared to DFA farming.

It's not too long of a grind. The faction armor and weapons just need to be much better.

Imho, it's not too bad. I just think rallies should be extended a little bit.

The game revolves around tokens so I don’t see the point or issue, 99%s of activity gives tokens

Factions should be permanent and have rewards up to level 100. Same with every vendor.

I think it depends on your level and priorities. I am 385 on all characters so welcome the grind for a reason to play. If a player still has a way to go for max level, they may prioritize milestones so will feel they don't have time to grind it out. You can still get tokens from doing milestones but will need to grind hard. Grinding with a full fireteam is much quicker.

I have a better question. Who thinks once you obtain an exotic catalyst boom it's done? the grind to unlock the weapons true potential is worse. After two days I'm rank 22, about half way there. You know come Saturday they'll have the extra faction rally lost sectors token per toon thingy that'll push us over the edge to completion.

It is a long a boring grind and if it wasn’t for the catalyst I wouldn’t even do it. Got to Dead Orbit rank 39 last rally. Will have to do DO again for the catalyst. Next rally hopefully I can do all 50 levels for FWC but I doubt it.

Not really. I'm almost rank 30 and already have all of the Hunter ornaments completed and most of the Titan ones done. You can also do it over the Season.

Not sure if it's a long grind. I didn't bother with the first one since I prioritised raids and levelling up my power. I'm going to attempt this one by just doing the daily faction rally along with weekly milestones and seeing where I end up. After doing the daily loot lost sector with 5x renown across 3 toons I was up around the 100 tokens. If this is the normal rate that daily faction rally milestones goes up by, it shouldn't be too difficult.
