@cozmo Quick question for yah. If Cayde-6 is actually dead, before we bury(or whatever we do with dead guardians) will the Hunter players take up his cloak. Hardcase Cloak in D1: If you learn nothing else, learn this: when a Hunter takes up the cloak of a dead comrade, this is a vow. I think a good idea would be for if you play a Titan or Warlock you mourn during a cutscene where Cayde-6 is being placed in his resting place, and Zavala or Ikora gives your player a class item that represents revenge but if you play a Hunter you take up Cayde-6's cloak as a vow for revenge like the Hardcase Cloak implies. I think this would be a very important part of the game to add emotion and impact to our objective and give us purpose.

7 AntwortenThis is because Nathan Fillion couldnt remew his contract due to other obligations. Which is why after our guardians go through the story mission and revive Cayde-6, the character will now be voiced by Nolan North.

7 AntwortenThey better keep Cayde dead. Even though he's a cool character, they need to add actual consequences to the story. No one important actually died in the Red War, and we even got the tower back.

3 AntwortenBungie reveals too much in their trailers. It seems to be a common practice now. Movie studios also do the same thing. They have got to find a better way of building hype without spoiling the best plot points.

4 AntwortenPlease bungie, please please please do something about getting dedicated servers for the next dlc. If you want people to buy an annual pass its the least you could do. Pvp is a joke at this point in time. One match im decimating everything in my path next match im getting one shot , shot through walls, one hit melle. It is utterly infuriating! The changes you have made and are apparently going to make are in the right direction but dedicated servers are needed to make the best of these changes. That and something needs to be done about power progression its too slow i dont mind a grind but only having your weekly milestones to get more powerfull gear is just stupid I've been stuck at 366 light for 3 weeks now due to shitty rng

57 AntwortenSee that empty field out there? That is the amount of fracks I have to give about this DLC. Same goes for the cash-grab ANnuAL pass. A flashy hype video will not save this game because there have been a lot of flashy videos from E3. Anthem, Cyberpunk 2077, Halo 6, Division 2, Fallout 76, and Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda actually follows through on their reveals, something Bungie could never do.

1 AntwortenThe darkness has taken another great thing away it took from us our heavy machine guns and voices it took the story away like what happened in D1. They said they wanted more dark tone well we lost lots of guardians in the city on mercury Venus and Mars all over the system when red war happened our light was taken away from us even eferdite the iron lord was killed the tower was smashed up and the speaker killed. And now this crap killing destiny one character at a time we did not asked for this we wanted to fight along side these guardians and help them even revive them and talk to them I think it’s true bungie is leaving and giving the torch to a new team. I will be watching what will happen to the new destiny but to come along way to play D1 from its start to the improvements to it to start all over again bad call guys very bad.😤😤😤

6 AntwortenI'm a bit surprised at how many people here [i]haven't[/i] mentioned that old pre-D1 cutscene we saw, that had your player character interacting with Uldren Sov in the Cosmodrome. At the time, we all suspected that he'd be a villain in the story. More (extremely old) cut content?

Yeah.... um... no! Killing off the only real character with any amount of depth and substance is nothing other than desperation. I’m not always a fan of the constant babbling and lines that Cayde has, but at-least he brings a little personality to the game that no other characters bring. I highly doubt that he is gone for good, but it’s just one more reason to pass and travel no further in this universe. It’s a shame that you guys can’t get your shit together. I understand that the expansion can not be free. I do feel that it should be significantly reduced in price for those who have already purchased the base game along with the two crappy DLCs (Warmind was an improvement though) just out of good faith. That won’t happen though and I won’t be purchasing another full priced game from Bungo ever again. After a period of time and a price decrease of at-least half, I may consider a purchase after reviewing the content, but not before.
