Nope all of that is still not worth a preorder. Heck I'm not even sure if it's worth a purchase at all. That "reveal" only made me more perturbed. "We changed all this stuff" HOW? I have more unanswered questions than anything else. I am on the brink of just giving up all hope that this company actually cares for it's players.
Edit: *sheesh so many people think that I am telling them how to spend their money or for them not to buy it. I never said that. If you want to frivolously throw money at something before really knowing anything about it do so. I'm not your daddy and if you want to blindly give someone your money before fully knowing what you're getting then do so. Me, I have learned my lesson from this company and it could be the most hyped up two tokens and a blue xp throttled eververse expansive thing to date. There's a slight chance that it's actually decent meaningful and substantial content. The best way to know is wait a few weeks after it releases and see the real reviews.
Additional edit: It's not about the price or wanting something for free it's about value and informed decision making.

Think EA must take this game over no horse shit for extra stuff

You do know you don't need to explain why you're not buying something.. just move on...

3 AntwortenSo many fanboys in here, you guys are the reason why d2 vanilla flopped

Their double dipping season pass 2 is making me question whether or not it's worth buying the main DLC. It's either all or nothing and the fact I feel like they're trying to scam people again, I'm expecting it'll be the latter.

Bungie: Stop this “logic” thing at once! Don’t you know we have a business to run here!

Because the public would lose interest in the three months between now and when the expansion drops. Since we all have the collective attention span of a gnat with ADHD. What they're going to do is "drip feed" that information to us over the course of the Summer. The E3 Conference is next week....we'll get more information then...and perhaps media people and conference attendees might have a chance to get some hands-on experience with demos. There will be multiple "TWABs" in the ensuing months....probably another Live Stream.... ...as well as the Gamescom Conference in Germany in August, and (IIRC) Pax West right before the Sept. 4th release of expansion. Anyone who is worth being called a "marketing expert"...is going to set things up so that this kind of information is SLOWLY rolled out over this time in order to slowly stoke and bank the fires of consumer interest in the game. TLDR: The goal of this reveal was to simply show you the big picture of what going to be in the expansion, and how the game will be improved. So that it isn't lost in the flood of information that will come out of E3 next week. NOT to fill in the details of how exactly that will be done. They will NEVER answer all those detail questions prior to release...and what information they do release will be done so slowly over the summer to maintain our interest in the game. The fact that you are hungry for more and feeling somewhat frustrated...is exactly where they want you.

4 AntwortenThat was just the first reveal. Of course its gonna make more questions then it will answer. Wait until they delve slightly deeper into all the changes and how they will work. Don't be so quick to make a judgment.

4 AntwortenI'll probably buy Forsaken alone but I'll wait ro see if the Anal Pass is worth it or not.

1 AntwortenWhat does the annual pass even do? I really hope it doesn't put people behind a wall when it comes to end game loot and progression. It sounded like that was the plan when they were talking about it.

Not getting fooled again

3 AntwortenI mean, I'm waiting to see timelines and what's included with the annual pass before I do anything. But tbh I like the idea, $10 bucks each for 3 content drops is sweet. I just don't like the idea of paying up front anymore considering Bungie's track record.

1 AntwortenFor me it depends on what they offer. I like stories. I like exploring. I like doing some of these on my own, sometimes with friends. The Annual Pass kinda made me die a little inside with no cinematic campaign as I personally enjoy that type of content. If we get some great quest lines in some awesome new locations with a great story underpinning them then great! I'm in! If it's just loot for loots' sake, some other random endgame activities and a new power grind to keep the masses busy throughout Y2 then that's not so great. I guess not having cutscenes resolves the argument of whether Guardians should be able to speak or not. No more awkward silences. Bungie heard us! p.s. Anybody else have an inner child that chuckles with a 'lol... Destiny 2: Foreskin'.)

16 AntwortenWell at least you are not screaming “gimme the slc for free because i deserve it!” Im not preordering also but i am really excited about certain aspects.
-
Expensive garbage.... Fool me twice.
-
If D2 was in a better state for the last year, I wouldn't mind paying the $70. I thought they started selling micro transaction to pay for the updates, so I'm a little confused $70 for a couple of updates.
-
We can just until 2 weeks after it gets sold it will be on sale for $5 at gamestop

3 AntwortenCan the Post openener please lust under this comment what he expected to change? So I can realize what exactly hus oroblem us?

I still haven't bothered with CoO or Warmind, as for Forsaken, I'll wait a month or two after launch to see how it REALLY turned out. The shiny wears off quick with D2...

I think that’s the problem in of itself: it’s a reveal of the general year 2 aspect, not a full blown detailed analysis. They did say they shall explain more in depth over the course of the summer. That being said, they won’t be receiving my money until they do, and would probably hurt Bungo in preorder sales, or at least, delay them.

1 AntwortenI agree. Why should everyone fork out more money towards Destiny 2 for improvements? They should be obliged to fix the problems for those that are slightly still here waiting for those improvements. The expansions were awful and this annual pass is a joke. I stuck around until this year 2 reveal and after reading about the expansion and the annual pass I uninstalled the game straight away. I'm completely done with Destiny and Bungie now. I'm not going to fork out another £40+ for those improvements. Idc if families need to be fed and looked after. They shouldn't begin to rip of their consumers to begin with. They've lost half of their player base because of the eververse and expansions being absolute garbage so why should we give them more for their shitty directions? I mean even if they fix stuff you'll have to fork out more money for that to happen. Also yeah they're going back to the reef, but that's not enough to entice me back tbh. Especially with me spending £80 on launch for Destiny 2 + expansion pass and it ending up being a -blam!-ing rip off with the expansions not expanding a thing to the universe.
