Nope all of that is still not worth a preorder. Heck I'm not even sure if it's worth a purchase at all. That "reveal" only made me more perturbed. "We changed all this stuff" HOW? I have more unanswered questions than anything else. I am on the brink of just giving up all hope that this company actually cares for it's players.
Edit: *sheesh so many people think that I am telling them how to spend their money or for them not to buy it. I never said that. If you want to frivolously throw money at something before really knowing anything about it do so. I'm not your daddy and if you want to blindly give someone your money before fully knowing what you're getting then do so. Me, I have learned my lesson from this company and it could be the most hyped up two tokens and a blue xp throttled eververse expansive thing to date. There's a slight chance that it's actually decent meaningful and substantial content. The best way to know is wait a few weeks after it releases and see the real reviews.
Additional edit: It's not about the price or wanting something for free it's about value and informed decision making.

Bearbeitet von BR: 6/7/2018 12:40:13 AMI’m with you I don’t see the point in paying up now when we don’t even know what we will get. It could flop and we wouldn’t even play it by the time it comes out. Trust me preorders only benefit the sellers not the buyers.... as gaming community we need to stop doing preorders in general only allows them to sell games easier off hype and less off actual content. Maybe change title to not preordering instead of buying. Because on the flip side it could be totally worth the money.... time will tell but makes no sense to preorder that is fact.

1 AntwortenYou know you will. Should bookmark your profile just so I can see you leveling as soon as the expansion drops lol. Just like the rest of your kind that swears that they won't buy it but know damn well that they will xD.

Bearbeitet von joshjda: 6/7/2018 1:16:49 AMWell either you buy it or you get to get destroyed in trials and iron banner due to being out leveled. Your choice I guess.

Annual pass, plus microstransactions, Eververse, and dlcs. Sheesh...
-
1 AntwortenNOPE... why paying for something when other companies are giving them up for free? BF5 has just been announced last week... all DLC's free... MH already doing that... and bungo wants me to pay for this much lesser quality game?... NOPE

Bearbeitet von Unforgiven: 6/7/2018 12:20:23 AMI dunno about you buddy, but I have a pretty hard life. I have a wife and son with special needs and a very stressful job, and I to stay late many time, so for me personally Destiny is an escape from all the bad stuff in my life. For a few minutes while I am playing this game I escape. I go to work and I come home and play Destiny. I am just happy enough doing that. That feeling of playing with your friends and having a good time. I am not that good to be a streamer, and I am not even good in Crucible, I am fairly average player, but I think i am pretty decent player, and I try to win. I am happy just playing this shit even in its worst state I still enjoy it. Yea I will buy Season pass. And yea I am glad they making it paid. I am tired of all the crybabies on these forums, and toxicity with the game. Ihope that the price tag will remove the toxic part of the Destiny community. I saw the stream and this stuff looks very good to me. I am very happy that Bungie is listening to feedback. Until someone makes a RPG shooter that has the same kind of stuff as Destiny, I will keep playing this game.

10 AntwortenDestiny Dealer : “ hey, I got something that will fix all your Destiny problems “ Its’s called a Warmind hit and it will make you forget all your Destiny concerns . Destiny addict : “Hell yea , hook me up . It’s been awhile and I feel like I’m in a content drought “ Destiny dealer: “ here you go , let me know if you need something else “. “Oh, and tell your friends about me” 1 month later.... Destiny addict : “ hey man , I’m short on content again , I need you to hook me up”. “I have plenty of cash”. Destiny Dealer : “ Oh you do”. “ Let me introduces you to a little known thing; I like to call a Reveal Pill”. Destiny addict: “ Will it curve this content crave?” “I wore out another right controller stick today, hoping to get something to drop “. Destiny Dealer : It’s what you need , it’s got electrolytes”. “ This Reveal pill is free , I will give you another one soon for a small annual fee”. “Don’t worry , it may seem high but i will hook you up later with the hope of something exciting”. Destiny addict : “ Sounds good to me “. Destiny Dealer: “ It always does”. “ See you soon and don’t forget to tell everyone who took care of you and is always listening “.

Im buying Forsaken no question. They showed enough of that, plus me liking the changes they already made to the current game has me convinced. Not so sure about that annual pass thing. I just can't preorder that without more information

1 AntwortenWhy is everyone so surprised Bungie wants Destiny to be a paid game and take advantage of the money making features of a free to play game at the same time. F2P games have seasonal passes and in game stores (Fortnite) why not a Paid game like Destiny. They did want to merge and MMO with an FPS with Destiny and managed to do neither right so why do we expect anything else it is a general pattern with them. The want to improve the game but manage to screw up something else and make the game worse in the end look at the latest changes to Faction Rallies. As long as there are fools with money somebody will part them. Bungie will likely never change as long as they make money.

I definitely do have more questions that answers
-
Oh deer the Chinese investors are going to get mad ......... Bungie you dumass lol
-
Not trying to tell you what to do, but those unanswered questions may get answered through later streams. I respect your opinion, however I have to differ. I’m phased about the annual pass, but really excited as well!

Seems well thought out to me

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Technohydra: 6/6/2018 8:29:15 PMBasically, they made the weapon system one where you have a lot more options (although you can bet that a kinetic shotgun won't be the same as a power shotgun), brought back random rolls (although we didn't get to see the full weapon details, so we don't know to what extent), added a node for the subclasses, added a customization system with mods, did another large campaign, etc. That's Forsaken. The annual pass is basically a year 2 DLC seaon pass, although the content will be spread out seasonally, instead of as installments like the previous DLCs were. It's really not an odious thing, in my book; if this was WoW, I'd be paying for all my expansions, and that $30 would only pay for 2 months of access, with no promise of additional content for paying it. That's just my viewpoint though. Edit: in a fixed price game model, this is what you have to do to get continous new content. If you aren't being charged for it, chances are high that it's just content cut from the base game.

Anyone mind explaining what the annual pass is?
-
4 AntwortenSince we're telling the general public $hit that doesn't matter. I all ready bought it! See you in September bro.
-
5 AntwortenCongrats! Good for you! A simple tweet might work better.
-
4 AntwortenI'm not pre-ordering g it at least right away. And I'll see what the annual pass gives exactly and if I even need to get it first. But I will get forsaken for sure at least
-
4 AntwortenIt feels a bit dicey, I may get Forsaken and maybe the pass, but only if both are quite good. Forsaken sounds good so far, but Bungie’s streams are fantastic advertising, so I’m just gonna wait until it comes out and see if it’s good or not

I'm buying the preorder and annual pass. #gimmealltheexclusiveloots

8 AntwortenCan someone explain to me how Destiny 2 isn't now a subscription MMO? I mean the only difference here is we'll be paying a yearly fee for updates instead of a monthly fee. In a subscription MMO those payments are required, in Destiny 2 they just make your entire game obsolete unless you pay. In a subscription MMO we get everything Destiny 2 is offering, updates, new modes, new items, raids, instances etc. But we also get better servers, better aftersales, faster updates, no lootboxes and we can pick and choose which expansions we want to buy. Most importantly other MMO's have been subscription based from the start, Destiny 2 is pulling some bait and switch BS where they lure us in at one price only to hike it later. I can't say this is a deal breaker for me, the deal was already broken months ago. But Bungie must be high off their ass right now if they think people are going to pay even more to watch them play catchup with Destiny 1.
-
2 AntwortenLike many people, I'm going to wait until the REAL reviews come in, which is usually about 3 weeks in. If the hype train is still at full speed, i may buy. But, i am also worried about the annual pass. Lack of details doesn't instill much confidence. I watched a video by SkillUp, where he talks about the reveal, and he summed up my thoughts by something he said at the end.... if they charged for the dlc, fair enough, but to try and gain support and confidence back from the community for all the dumb things they've done, they should have provided the annual pass for free. I'm paraphrasing, but you get the gist. Personally, not buying yet... gonna wait and see.
-
2 AntwortenUhhhh the things that they changed are literally the things the community has been asking them to change
