BUNGIE WE NEED A DEFINITIVE ANSWER; DO CATALYSTS DROP FROM HEROIC STRIKES
We DON'T NEED some vague answer, give us a proper answer like this example below.
Catalyst drop chances.
1. 5% drop chance in Nightfall rising to 10% dependant on score.
2. 2% chance in heroic strikes.
Etc etc, isn't it about time we the people who play your game, actually knew the chances of getting what we grind for.
Without more disclosure on things all you succeed in doing is annoy people.

I have gained some catalysts, listed here but none from Strikes.

Only thing from strikes has been the Rat king Sparrow.😖

Only grinding I'm interested in doing, takes place behind locked doors 😎

After two days of faction rally boring foolishness, even though I do like some of the strikes, not a single one has dropped. but I guess I'm supposed to be happy that I get to play the same stupid shit over and over again because this is what extended content means. Thanks a lot Bungie. You suck.

Vagueness indicates that someone mans the control knob, turning it up or down according to his/her whim. Spin the dial up or down according to someone's idea of how many should drop each day/week. Or, slow the drop for the grinders and speed up the drop for the casuals.

I have done hundreds of strikes since the release of the last update. Never seen a single strike specific catalyst drop or any catalyst drop in them. Very low rate but add the exotic sparrow to the loot table to that and I imagine the rates are even lower. Wondered if anyone in destiny 2 strikes since the last update ever had the heroic strike specific catalyst dropped with the strike exotic sparrow at the same time. Can also add the nightfall unique rewards dropping with a catalyst at the same time. I would think no one has seen that or have had that happened. Bungie doesn’t need to only give percentages of catalyst drop rates but also do the same to the rewards in nightfall unique rewards and the terrible garbage rewards in heroic strikes. They can say it’s low but that is extremely vague and bungie has lied to us before so I wouldn’t trust a single thing they say til the give out percentages.

4 AntwortenI’ve only gotten two so far - one from a Heroic (Darcy) and one from a regular strike (Crimson).

4 AntwortenI can confirm they drop in Herioc strike, if you not me. Official tally, my wife has gotten 5 (not all strikes) and me 0. And we play together almost exclusively. Yes I’m salty about it.

22 AntwortenThis is no excel rng. Every time you play, your “gaming profile” is adjusted. Therefore the rng only responds to gaming behaviors/patterns. The rewards you get in the game are defined by that gaming profile with the sole objective of having you play and/or spend more. I know it’s difficult to understand, but this is a gambling company, not a game dev. And I’m not talking about poker, more like slot machines.

They do. I have personally gotten the Wardcliff Coil catalyst to drop from heroics.
