If they make money off this thing they’re almost guaranteed to do it again. Don’t let them take more money from the players and stop buying the emote and even better yet stop buying from eververse at all.
Edit: for everyone saying this is an improvement its not. Not only is the emote 10$ which is 1/6 of the base game which is way overpriced but, theyre locking more cool rewards behind a paywall with no activity attached. Theres a difference between achieving a difficult goal and earning some cool loot than paying 10$ for that loot and it proving nothing. Imagine if the emote could only be obtained if you win 10 IB matches in a row or something semi difficult. Then when you saw someone use it in the tower you would think to your self “Oh thats a pretty good player with a sick emote” but instead now we say “oh he paid 10$ for an emote that looks cool”.
Edit: Alright listen here. “Im to poor” or “what cant use mommys credit card” isnt the point. I paid 60$ for a game that sucked. Then i paid 40$ for a season pass which sucked. My point is bungie isnt in the position to try to suck more money out of its players i still havent gotten my 100$ worth so why the hell should have to pay more money to get more out of the game. To be completely honest with you people that think this is ok are the people that ruined d2 in the first place. Remember how every reward was locked behind eververse this is the slightest shift towards another eververse dominated game which isnt fun to play. The price isnt what matters here its the fact that we have to pay more money to for more of our incomplete game. If we boycott it bungie and activision will definitely notice it tanking what they love most which is money. So to those of you who bought the emote i can truthfully say that you are making this game worse and worse with every purchase.
Edit:Im getting even more upset that there still hasnt been a single response from bungie.
Edit: please stop insulting each other and actually have conversations about this. The more we talk about it the more legitimate feedback we give to bungo. And the more minds we can change to fit a majority of the player base’s wants.
Last Edit: Holy crap this post blew up

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Last Spartan: 5/26/2018 8:23:58 AMWow, and there are really people in the thread who actually bought it just to be spiteful and brag about it to you OP. I thought that when I witnessed my classmate get an answer wrong that our professor literally gave us right before the test I had seen the absolute limit of one's stupidity, boy was I wrong...

No loot box involved saved everyone from 10-100 dollars...but if they put it for school lunch money, kids would be excited. I hope they put more stuff directly on sale, the loot box trend has to die.

Buying it now just to go against this post 😂
-
It's a pretty cool looking emote, but the fact that you can only get it by shelling out $10 makes it not cool at all. $10? For an emote? Maybe if it was going toward saving puppies or something ;P

6 AntwortenBought it with no regrets

I personally think it’s a cheap way to get people who try to collect most things in the game to fork over some cash if they are willing. It plays into the psychological aspect of the mind where they see something they don’t have and they want it bad enough to spend money on it without even thinking of the consequences of spending 10 dollars on the item. One may call them weak, or financially unstable but really it’s just a set of mind that they have and almost relates to a compulsive disorder similar to drinking, smoking and gambling. All things that could determine an unhealthy lifestyle for some individuals while others may not have those types of issues

Or the whole game............

Whoops, already bought it since i liked it so much.

3 Antwortenbuying that emote is supporting eververse and the lack of in-game content

It's more embarrassing for the players who actually want it. It's an emote. 😂

My goal is to get as many people to buy it out of spite as I can. It's suprisingly easy. Your welcome bungie, you owe me $987,000!

Seen few sad retards using the emote in IB yesterday. So I guess it’s a success for bungie.
-
Im not gonna buy it. I wont be buying anything in D2. My will to collect things and do stuff like back in D1 has completely died in D2.
-
Most of the Bungie studio, is an incompetent, talentless cancer. What did you expect? Try to enjoy, with friends. Only things good about this cancerous product.

This evolution of gaming where we buy a game then can buy things inside the game is insane to me , I won't spend a dime on any items within any game
-
Its every ones personal choice if they buy it or not and personally I dont have a problem with that. If you want to buy it then cool, I just wouldnt. My problem is that I think its like they are testing the water to see how the fact you have to buy an emote goes down with the players. Once people start accepting it and take it as the norm, i think its going to pave the way for them to introduce more items that will make a difference to game play. Thats when the problem starts.
