My son has a PS4 Pro and cannot play destiny 2 on it. We have tried both a disk from GameStop, then I bought him a download version and no matter what the game crashes and he gets the error code CE-34878-0.
We have made sure both his system and Destiny 2 are up to date, and we have initialized his PS4. My other son also has a PS4 Pro, and he can sign into that console and play, so I think it is something with the console.
Sony says the download is corrupt, and had me setup port forwarding per their article, and even before that he still had NAT type 2, so I think them blaming our internet is bogus... They had me wait until the other son was done playing to download the game again. I get nearly 250 mbps download speeds.
I am going to try to initialize his system one more time, tonight, and do the download with his PS4 in the DMZ I have my Xbox one in. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

In the same case Bungie answered that I should address to Sony, but Sony refused to help me too, told that this problem in the Bungie side :(I've tried all of suggested solutions, but all of them didn't help me

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von EZ: 5/11/2018 12:39:33 AMHello! Thank you for posting here on Bungie.net, it’s a little easier to assist and follow then on Twitter. Just by reviewing all the information you’ve provided, it does sound like a console issue, especially since you have two PS4 Pros and one is not experiencing issues. Just from reading the troubleshooting guide that comes along with that error code, it seems you have done just about everything so far. https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/get-help/help-library/error-codes/ce-34878-0/ Going through the steps you outlined at the end of your post seems like a good idea to do. These issues can be tough, as they don’t really make sense. Is there anything different with the PS4 Pro that is having issues? Such as an external Hard-drive and so on?

6 AntwortenI’m getting the same error codes with my ps4 pro. It’s funny coz my pro is a new one that was replaced by Sony through warranty for a separate issue. My first pro didn’t have this issue AFAIK. Destiny 2 is the only game in my library to do this. Every other game works perfectly fine.

1 AntwortenWell, looks like after a second initialization, and downloading the game again, this time hard wired and with the PS4 in our router's DMZ still getting the same error. Seems to happen when the game is trying to signal a change in the mission. Any other advice would certainly be welcome. Thank you!
