Really confused about two weapons
So i have been using a 126 power hand cannon for a while now, and just got a 196 power scout rifle. The thing is: The hand cannon has more range, is easier to head shot with, and has WAY higher dps. How??? I really don't get this. Also, in the crucible does weapon power effect damage?

Ok, WTF? I just got a hand cannon with 190 power and it does THE SAME DAMAGE as my 120 POWER hand cannon.
