Everyone is having a little war with solo players and Co-Op players.
This wasn’t a problem before. I’m a solo player who finds teams from LFG and this app to get raids done, other than that I mess about by myself.
Solo players aren’t the problem.
Bungie just seems to be having a crisis with Destiny 2 right now, sure they’re lazy and don’t get much right but nearly all of the playerbase that’s left is unpleasable.
Is hating solo players just another bandwagon like #removeeververse?
Edit: Hey, we hit trending. First public topic I’ve ever made too lmao.
Edit #2: Well, this is the last topic i’m ever making. Community is cancer, glad I don’t play so much anymore.

10 AntwortenAs a solo player since week one I can make a couple statements. 1) I choose to not do Trials or the Raid and therefore do NOT expect the weapons, ornaments, or other event specific cosmetics. I am not going to earn them so I don't deserve them. 2) I feel that people that do Trials and the Raids should have unique and exciting rewards that can only be obtained in those activities. With that being said, I do think max light level should be available to everyone and I mean everyone. I don't care if I don't need it. It also is fine for the end game folks to get a chance to get there quicker...a little quicker. There is no reason to make it near impossible for people that don't do these activities. Based on the dialog so far they said it will be possible but is LIKELY THEY WILL NOT REACH CAP BY THE NEXT DLC. To me, that's the issue. They spent almost 3 years getting D1 set up so solo people could reach max light without getting so frustrated they bailed. Contrary to the vocal minority message...there are more solo (non end game) players than teams. If they hamstring the exotic drops and don't add max level rewards for IB like we had in D1 then it may be an unreasonably heavy grind. Just my opinion.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von rocademiks: 5/1/2018 10:26:58 AMThe players that are left are the ones who have destroyed this game. 100% crybabies and whiners. Bungie’s Core fan base has uninstalled and put this game down along time ago. All of us have migrated to Monster Hunter World since bungie cannot deliver. Bungie caters to the Noobs, bitch boys and the lazy. I can tell you what’s going to happen. The good players, real players, hard core players have left destiny. Leaving bungie to create all of the spread sheets they are going by from false, Noob data. When the real players come back this fall this game is going to be worse than it was because bungie isn’t having a solid foundation to get good input from. They instead have these COD infinite warfare Noobs who want the game to be dumbed down to be just like those types of games. “Nerd this nerf that. You made a solo playing game, you made a pvp game, you made a co op game, you made one class stronger than the other game blah blah. We want everything 100% balanced and to be fair “ In return you are going to get a Glorified Call Of Dufy black ops 3. Congratulations to the Noobs. You have destroyed a beautiful and very expensive game.

2 AntwortenI got crazy backlash for just saying they don't need max light. Not that they shouldn't have it, just that they don't need it. The toxicity is disgusting.

Bearbeitet von Cosmic Zaa: 5/1/2018 3:59:21 PMNot totally. I dont hate solo players. I just dont think Bungie should waste time buildng a solo endgame. Maybe create a soloable endgame that is primarily coop, but thats it. I do understand your pov though, some people here are bashing solos hard.

I have a problem with solo co-OPers.....wait a minute...
-
I have a problem with half players. They're always running around with two legs and no torso. Shoot something and stop running away! I guess at least they're not the floating torsos, always gliding around not paying any attention to the enemies. You have a gun use it! -blam!-ING PEASANTS!!!
-
I honestly don’t really care about it but I do have a problem when Solo players complain about the endgame content needing to be done with co-op when this is SUPPOSED to be a social game
-
You lousy, Guardians! Git offa mah Bandwagon! I jes put a new shader on it!

2 AntwortenI think it’s the school yard mentality due to the age of the player base.

4 AntwortenThis game has been trolled since it switched to destiny. They are running out of things to troll... Want to know how I know? I have muted 90% of them and I literally have no clue about this topic or that it was trending. I have seen two defense posts... People are getting played hard from these individuals that only want to burn this game. Ignore them.

59 AntwortenNo one hates solo players. We just want them to stop asking for solo player end game content in a multiplayer game that has never had single player end game content (unless you count the Crota raid everyone hated)

This one seems lit, solo players.....Wow Its pve players talking shit to solo players?......huh Its usually pvp vs pve......this is news to me.....oh this seems lit, solo players have been the most mistreated players, and I think like most of the community, bungie got "casual player" mixed up with "solo player". And that's why D2 is what it is.
-
1 AntwortenThis is solo shit everyone is going off about is the REASON WHY BUNGIE SHOULDNT LISTEN TO ALL THE PLAYERS. Some will point out the light cap. Will benefit only group players, no it won't because they like us only get one flawless and one raid complete. If you love the game like I do, you won't give two shits about the light cap and play the got damn game.

1 AntwortenThe problem is that all the people who had smart things to say in criticizing the game are all gone. The game sucks so badly that even the forums are now dead.
-
Well said about the community, but I remain nonetheless

3 AntwortenThe solo player problem wouldn’t be an issue if bungie had in game matchmaking for endgame content.i can’t see any downside to having normal matchmaking for the nightfall and trials.and then some kind of in game LFG for the raid. If destiny is a social game then why make it so hard for us to communicate in game.at the moment we can pretty much just dance with each other. The LFG not being in game is a big problem I play solo 90% of the time but if I get the urge to play trials I simply can’t because no team on the app will take me because I’m not good enough same goes for the raid. Probably a lot of players in my position it’s a gaming limbo content I want to play but no way of playing.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von OHNO_IMAPENCIL: 4/30/2018 11:40:34 AMEven Goth said the next DLC is a week or 2 worth of content, at a max. September is when it might be good....that speaks volumes...Buy the game, 2 dlcs and THEN after 1 year D2 will have 20% of its content worth doing! Its comical really. Just as some say this is the most toxic community I say its now simply populated by players with insanely low expectations, that like games with the softest difficulty. Good news is the numbers are so low D3 cant get anyone excited if it follows that trend. D2 has shown Activision lazy, unfinished shitfests that scrap stuff people liked (for no reason) dont make as much money as games which arent rushed, and have content whilst offering the same elements of replayability as the previous game. In other news getting kicked in the balls hurts.

Yes, yes it is

This community is -blam!-ed up.

It's the Flavor of the Month club: last month it was PvP versus PvE, this month it's solo versus teams...I thought I just needed to go to Quickplay for that, but it turns out we can find it in the forums now too. When things are not how people want them, and blaming the guilty party doesn't get results, there must always be a scapegoat. And it works in Bungies favor to have us hating and fighting each other, because that prevents the community from getting behind a single demand to make things better. So we divide and conquer ourselves, and they are free to do what it is that they were going to do, uncontested. Bottom line, ignore it, don't justify it or feel assaulted by it. Next month it will be emblem horders versus shader dismantlers, or something equally pointless, just like it is now.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Knox19Delta: 4/30/2018 8:46:51 PMIf people sit for more than 5 hours a day playing this game everyday. They’ve got bigger life problems. Who is the guy that’s crying saying “I want more special than everyone else meh”! That’s the person you want to drag out of their house with their skinny jeans on and slap the shit out of them! Get outside ya bums!!!

It's just bored kids. This, too, shall die down (just like #removeeververs did).

4 AntwortenI find it ironic that in a game with a diminishing player base that those players now turn on each other. Whilst personally I am done with the game I find it bemusing that ahead of some new content this is how players react. Arguing amongst perceived "haters" and "fan boys" makes sense or is understandable but this solo v co -op thing makes no sense at all. For those still here and positive about the game just play it and enjoy it. There is no wrong way or right way to play Destiny.
-
Everyone has different expectations for this game. And in the end it's Bungie's fault. They took a PvE oriented rpg-ish fps and let it transform into destiny 2, the game that tries to make everyone happy. Everyone has a piece to be happy about, but everyone also wants more.
-
Bearbeitet von PR4X1S: 4/30/2018 8:14:35 PMI'M SHOUTING SO IM HEARD, BUNGIE MAKE EVERYTHING HAVE AN OPTIONAL MATCHMAKING OPTION ALSO. Doing this makes everybody happy, and enables everybody to get a game In every event easily; regardless of if their friends are online or not; without having to go through 3rd party apps.

5 AntwortenFor all but a select few (those with severe social anxiety), this is definitely just another bandwagon. I much prefer to play solo a majority of the time; I'm just an anti-social person most days. If there's an activity I'd like to engage in that requires a team, I look for capable teammates or I simply find something else to do. It doesn't seem like a difficult concept to grasp.
