Warmind PVE Looks Fun But PVP Devs Still Don't Get It
The Warmind stream looked pretty good and I'm excited to play PVE. What I don't get is why the repeated refusal to speed up the time to kill universally in PVP. Buffing exotics and having 1 or 2 of them killing faster than all the other guns in the game isn't what people asked for. This could have been a fantastic way to keep players interested while waiting for the big September expansion but yet again it doesn't happen. Also why no improvements to private matches like the option to disable heavy ammo and radar? These are the same guys who butchered D1 in its final PVP update so I guess getting my hopes up was my own fault. JFC 😐

Unreal had similar ttk on some guns and you will NOT find a faster shooter to this day. This ttk=facepaced mindset is from the CoD school of thought. We all know how trash that is.

Custom games is a joke. I would lo e to see at least a level of game customisation as black ops 3. That was fun. But halo style would be perfect.

1 AntwortenI wouldn't mind a [i] minor[/i] increase in TTK, but I don't want this to turn into a game where shooting first is the way to win. If this were a more tactical shooter, sure, but as it stands, the more often I get killed without a chance to retaliate, the less I'm likely to play PvP.

3 AntwortenIn truth, I stopped reading mid first sentence. How can you say they are not speeding up ttk you silly, silly child? Have you not seen the Desperado perk? Holy shit! I am being so kind by using the word silly right now. Have you not seen exotic reworks? They kill fast without their catalyst perk. ( I heard it rumoured that vigilence wing-- fires full auto.) Any faster ttk and we won't have gunfights... It'll just be slaying. A vision test. Best eye sight wins. That's boring. Quite frankly, I would strike PvP from the game. The vast majority who play seem to complain and whine. They don't want to think. No strategy. No dynamic. Just mindless masturbation with a controller.

2 AntwortenSeemed to me with an entire overhaul of the exotic weapon sandbox - we may want to first evaluate how it performs within the current TTK before making adjustments. It just seems...well...smart, and prudent.

Many things here. How can we continue to complain that every weapon feels the same then we complain one will be better than another...what are really after here? In regards to private matches, can we just let them start and make sure it works proper before we ask for improvements.
