Im not goin to detail a bunch of grievances with the game. Ive given Bungie another chance after the Go-fast update, seeing it as a positive direction. But i just read an article about player progression in Warmind and how Bungie will be artificially be restricting player progression. The problem IS, the Destiny playerbase isnt stupid. Artificially restricting player progression, by pro-dev systems, is only going to further drive players awaw. This is a loot shooter and restricting Light Level over several weeks to months, isnt going in a positive direction, especially considering CONTENT is the main grievances of many players. It would only be done, if content was lacking, to draw out more play time. I can almost guarantee, this is the reason of restricting Light Level (Soft Cap 340 lol, seriously lol) I urge every player who hasn't already pre-ordered, to wait for the reviews. The question remains...WILL THERE BE LOOT(Reskins dont count)...and a meaningful reason for obtaining loot.

Back during The Taken King, it was literally impossible to get to 320-335 (the cap and it's increase for y2) without doing hard mode raids and/or crucible. Making it harder/more triumphant to reach the cap isn't what I think the issue is at it's core, it's meaningful and exciting content worth replaying. Right now, prestige Leviathan is meaningless, as it rewards the same loot normal mode does, and there (still) isn't a prestige Eater of Worlds.

Bearbeitet von Kiyoshi-Prime: 4/23/2018 11:45:51 AMI think many Guardians will be very skeptical about the hype train that is "Warmind". Even after watching a video by Mtashed regarding the Bungie summit which occurred last week over Thursday & Friday with many content creators, he seemed genuinly happy with the direction Bungie is now heading (with the aid of summit participants)...Bungie apparently have a few good suprises but in other area's they were way off base, which is where the participants gave feed back. I for one stopped playing D2 in November and waited for the reviews to come out regarding CoO, and thats the reason i still play D1...I'll be doing the same again with the Warmind, and won't purchase until it's been out at least 3 months so that there are solid reviews...I think many Guardians will be doing the same thing!
