Ladies and gentleman,
INTRODUCTION
Do not get to worked up for September, also known as Year 2, which is another charge on your card. It's taken 60 dollars and a year to test a game today we thought was already tested (D1). Now they will give us what we wanted fun the start, but oh, at another charge.
REAL LIFE EXAMPLE
You don't buy a half cooked hamburger, than pay again to have it taken back and cooked how you like it. You get it recooked for free or you walk out.
THE REAL PROBLEM
People are going to jump right back on the highway to hell. I can already see it. If Year 2 it's not free... Not after what they're put us through... Do not partake. If you do, YOU'RE the problem with the gaming industry.
MY CREDIBILITY
I'm in the Marketing field. It's my job to feed you information to buy something. It's also my job to make sure our business does not fraud you and are tansparent. This company is not. They gave you the cherry (random rolls) on top of the pile of poop we all know is there but they won't say (Paid Expansion).
I'M NOT A HATER...
I love D1. I loved 2 months of D2. However I'm not a necromancer. I don't play with dead things. You need to be a smart buyer and consider the truths about this game and past ones. Times change, people don't.
It's time to come to terms with it. Destiny 2 is a lost cause. Enough is enough.
Developer/marketing team, if you read this. You know I'm right. Will that change things? Probably not. What will change? Not me buying into your promises.
Ex-Destiny 2 player,
Darth

0.0% chance you are in marketing. Maybe you are the security guard at a building that has a marketing firm it.....

Your comment has been moved into feedback

I'll thank you not to tell me how and when to spend my money. Unless you worked your ass off to earn it.

1 AntwortenDon't let this distract you from the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.

The ugly truth about september...... The expansion wont be ready be then. No seriously. Dont kid yourself. This is why they are focusing on D3's release in 2025
-
Do I play the game? Yes. Do I want to continue playing the game? Yes. Will the, at most, 100 people who listen to you change their minds? No. Therefore I'm gonna pay for it.

If you still have a job in spite of your inability to understand very basic principles in personal preference/opinion, you shouldn't have a job. Let alone overseeing your company's transparency. I am calling bs on that one.

5 AntwortenMaybe I enjoy the game and franchise. Maybe not everyone is like you.

9 AntwortenI will buy every expansion and DLC in advance. Don't give a shit about all you people crying. The gunplay is still the best in the industry. Don't give a fak about rewards and progression. You don't like it go play some Fortnite with that sick as gunplay. I got money in the bank, I buy whatever I want.

Honestly, whoms’t would still play D1 if it still had content, trials/iron banner, or anything new to do.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheShadow-cali: 4/14/2018 3:26:09 AMD2 is nothing but a rinse and repeat of D1 vanilla but a hell of a lot worse off. D1. Blame last gen D2. Blame new gen D1. Scrap Staten's work and cut content to sell later as a DLC leaving the bass game a mess and the first expansion. Promise to fix later but take 7 months or more. D2. Rinse and repeat. This time since it worked so well in D1. Scrap the entire D2 to sell later, first expansion rinse and repeat and put up a paywall because that worked as well with The taken wallet. D1. Next expansion, put someone as lead that has a brain to show we can do better. Next expansion put a grunt as lead screw up the game and take 7+ months to fix the grunts mess. Next expansion, put someone that has a brain as lead and gets the game running in the right direction. D2. Put grunt as lead, screws up the entire game. Next expansion even worse. D2 put team that got the grunts mess heading in the right direction in D1 working on D2 mess. D3. Rinse and repeat D4. Rinse and repeat Edit:Meanwhile, blaming everything else on why this or why that knowing they are still using their broken 1900's engine that can't keep up producing the content that is actually needed for this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU92a5pKV6k# So here comes Bungie... cut a lot of corners, Always look for ways around thing and avoid what the player base is actually asking for and make the game how we want them to play. Create micro timed events and pretend it's being used to as it's intended purpose. Make false promises to keep that false hope going because we literally can not handle this game with our Broken engine. So keep coming up with new cheap tactics like... Dawning Creating paywalls with the first expansion but lets take this further. Block gamers that have been on Bnet since Halo days XP Build are base game around Micro and make sure Tess is the first vendor that greets gamers as they spawn on the tower. Make here voice sound like she is talking over an intercom. The naive gamers, kids/teens will bite. Remove what gamers like about the game so we can use it as a carrot later or as an example that "we're listening" But make sure we say sorry so they know "we care" for every cheap tactic that we pull because without that knowing our broken engine. We wouldn't make a profit just off of our DLC. For those that may disagree, nothing wrong with that. But, i'm only asking one thing. Please have at least done your research before making a reply. Because Bungie Proved without a doubt that they didn't even create D2 for casuals. This was Bungie scrambling to meet a contracts deadline because they Literally scrapped the entire D2 and left themselves on 16 months. Now, if i'm correct Luke Smith said they had a choice to either continue building off of D1 or create a new game. It's more then obvious Bungie don't listen to their player base because he and the higher ups made the wrong choice.

I’m done until Destiny 3. Hopefully they have worked out the formula by then. Also with no progression carrying over I’m not really missing out on anything by not playing.
-
Buying it F you

Problem is I have the deluxe edition. So wether I wanted it or not, I have stepped into a war on mars, the warmind is bad and stuff but imma maybe going to kill it if I have time for D2 this summer. But yes I agree that D1 was a great game, it will forever be remembered by me

1 AntwortenThat’s how they get you. The DLC costs cumulatively over a year are equal to a MMO subscription fee. And with absolutely none of the content that MMOs have. They took everything away from D1 and are selling it back at a premium. If we’re lucky, this game will be only a decent amount worse than D1 was by September and it will have costed $60 + $20 + $20 + $60 to get there. We didn’t build on D1 at all, just took it away and had it drip fed back for additional $.

3 AntwortenSorry, i like D2, I play it regularly and I’ll pre-order the September dlc because I want more content by that point. You fallen out with destiny, fine, don’t play, shut up and get off the forums because THAT is what’s really wrong with the gaming industry. Entitled ass hats who just because they don’t like a product think it’s their right to try to make everyone who enjoys it think the same way as them -_-

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von One Shot Ted: 4/15/2018 11:10:26 AMI'll buy it and play it anyways. Even in its "broken" state, D2 has been infinitely more fun and lasted far longer than any of the other "big titles" that have come out for the same price since 2014 (maybe it was 15? I dunno, whenever Fallout 4 came out). That $60 went farther in D2 than it would have anywhere else (in terms of video games).

2 AntwortenI do stuff like you, but i am a necromancer, level 90. Want to hang out?

Mad cos bad

I saw somebody wearing a Destiny 1 shirt at the Home Depot yesterday. Boy did he look like a sad fvcker. A real pathetic loser.
-
3 AntwortenI keep forgetting that the game has barely been out 7 months lol. Such a short lifespan, even compared to its predecessor.
-
Game is shit. Meaningful fix deliberately delayed to hit a paywall. DLC will be shit because it'll have to be played on the pre-paywall infrastructure. Is this what you're saying?
-
Nah. I'll spend my money where I want, you can't tell me what to do...
I Spent $500 on loot boxes for no real reason at all. 😂🤣
-
4 AntwortenSaid it once, i'll say it again, sept. expansion should be free to all those that pre-ordered game and season pass. Good way to say sorry for all f**k ups since launch.

🔥🔥🔥🔥 Agreed Op!
