Destiny 2 has been a lump of disappointment.
D2 has been a such a disappointment that I've replaced it with D1 again. Uninstalled again and everything. I'll miss D1, because it will never feel the same. Destiny is dying, dying quicker than any AAA franchise I've seen. D2 somehow downgraded from D1. It cut content added in the first and dumbed down other aspects. Most of the new exoctics are bad or bland, while the rebooted ones were ruined by changes made. Armor is terrible now. Each class has roughly 5, that's being generous, different sets to choose from with different Markings or colors. The grind doesn't even exist anymore, and the very, very little end game content isn't even all that good. The leviathan is absolute garbage and the lair offers less than crota with quality crota added. The lair is basically two actual encounters with the second being very slightly different from the first. It's sad to see what destiny is becoming. D1 truly is better than it's sequel and offers more content. Hell even the companion app as a shell of it's former self. D2 is the most disappointing game I've played, and I've played through halo 5. I could say that d2 with Curse still feels like a D1 comemt, and I doubt the newest dlc still change that.
Edit: changed D1 dlc to D1 comet.
Edit 2: while this post sounds negative I'm not saying the game is bad. I had expectations that D2 would add and fix the formula that was mostly working, I don't mind all the changes only the content they cut after spending two years develop it in D1. I'm not mad, angry, or bitter. Just disappointed because I had hope bungie would be better than this and I felt the need to express my concerns. Raids excluded, I straight up trashed those which is just my thoughts. Not factual.

8 Antwortenhow about its just a game and if you dont like it dont play it. Other people love the game so they will still play it no matter what, like myself. Some people didnt like call of duty so they didnt play it, some people do like call of duty so they play it. It's just a game, its not dead, its just the people who don't care for playing the same game for a year or so moved on to new games. They have other games to catch their eye with their low attention spans. Only the true fans will stay and I think thats a good thing. Less toxicity, less anger, more friendships and respect from the community. This is all a good thing.

Bearbeitet von blade329: 4/11/2018 8:22:23 PMI started a brand new game of Destiny 1 on the Xbox, few weeks ago. Having fun. Just got a Hopscotch Pilgrim. This one gun is better than most of the garbage in Destiny 2. The good news is, any gear I like won't be nerfed into oblivion.

1 AntwortenNext dlc going to be the nail in the coffin . Reckon the game is on it's last legs as it is (solo loading into strikes & heroic strikes for long ass periods even on reset day) but the remaining playerbase of most likely pre order season pass owners like me are just waiting to faceroll through whatever half arsed content comes next month & then cut & run .

When they announced static rolls on weapons and armor plus dumbed down subclass trees, I knew that this game wouldnt be as good as destiny 1.

I whole-heartedly agree with you (former) fellow Guardian. Other than that D2 comes in 2nd to ME:A on the disappointment hierarchy.

5 AntwortenThe thing is D2 was a misstep but a well intended misstep. You lot seem to be yes men when it comes to articles saying that D2 is dear/ failure but you don't read them in detail. They say that at the time the changes made that you guys hate where seen as changes in right direction. We knew alot of the changes before the beta came out but no one said a word that it was the wrong thing. During the beta again there was no outcry that this was a mass outcry, there were some who voiced their concerns but they were in such small minority they were just seen as whiners. I am struggling to think what was this mythical lie that bungie told because we knew what was coming get there was possibly time to force a delay to the games launch sonbungie could address it but people did nothing.

Not for everybody, let me demonstrate. You know when you gotta go REALLY REALLY bad? And then you make this monumental TURD! I mean like a turd that you could put in orbit around the Sun and science would claim they discovered a new planet! And you, having somehow survived, look at this ginormous accomplishment and feel an overwhelming sense of PRIDE! Well thats how Bungie must feel when they look at destiny 2, so, as you can see, it is not a disappointment to everyone.
