This is for a new subclass idea, leave comments for your ideas of their perk trees.

8 AntwortenThe 3 original won't return, but it would be cool if dawnblade could have a res perk like defender is one for titan. Siva is likely the next due to the nature of Rasputin and how Siva infused with guardians to take them over, seems plausible. Darkness would be good, but I would rather that be a whole new section that has 3 subclasses so then you have darkness subclasses vs light subclasses

2 AntwortenHeavy machine guns of light as a skill tree/super ability for each subclass. Would function like the ward of dawn does. You would pick, yes thats right pick, your other 3 perks from the existing 2 trees. Solar would have a firefly effect, arc would have a chaining effect, void would have a bloom effect. These effects would be significant since it is a super ability. This is important or no-one will use it. Kills with the heavy machine gun of light skill tree would NOT generate orbs of light that way the other skill trees stay relevant and useful. Example- say I was a voidwalker and this was implemented. I could choose 3 perks from the 2 trees. I would have the choice to use either my nova bomb or the heavy machine gun of light as my super. Kills with the nova bomb or heavy machine gun of light would not generate orbs though. Masterwork weapons would still generate orbs. Obviously some perks would cancel eachother out. Like you can't run feed the void and chaos exelerlant at the same time. Or cataclysm and vortex at the same time ext. But it would still offer more customization and just overall options to choose from when playing. And it brings heavy machine guns back in some way.

1 AntwortenGive warlocks osiris's ability to copy himself and let us wield all 3 subclasses at once
-
1 AntwortenLet’s hope Warlock’s don’t get some jank ass super like Stormcaller again.
-
Still hoping for a Eliksni class, with 3 new bespoke subclasses, as those sad pathetic insect refugees become our allies and a new enemy is introduced. As we gained in power we would change from a dreg to a Archon or Kell sized Fallen infused with the light. I know it won’t happen, but this was one of the directions I hoped they were going to take in the Red War story line.

Sunsinger.... LOL. I can't even begin to imagine how useless that super would be with the current nades for dawnblade (or just warlocks in general). At least in D1 fusions were OHK if you could attach them. In D2 I don't even think 2 stuck fusion nades will net a kill. Self-res would be the only possible useful feature in PvE.

1 AntwortenI think it was Hammrick himself who stated there will be new classes and subclasses added into the game in the next few months to come. Meaning possibly a new species (Human, Exo, Awoken, ???) and possibly a new element.

1 AntwortenIdeas for subclasses. Ice Wind Earth Poison/smoke Metals(somehow make it work) Speed(think like dbz fights) Idk, just throwing things out there

I do have an idea for a new element if you want to take a look? https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/244311702?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0

Darkness would be cool.

6 AntwortenI've already thought about this. Out of these, i think the Titan is the least developed. I couldn't really think of anything good for them.
“Ghosts. Not all of them are made equal. Some are… not normal, just made... wrong. The Traveler tried to hide them, cast them out before they were found by the others. They found comfort in the darkness. They use the darkness just as we use the light, and they found wielders of the darkness just as we found you. They are the opposite of what makes you a guardian. The antithesis to light. They hate light, they despise it. Their ultimate wish is not of darkness, but of the complete destruction of the Traveler. They do not care about you, or our enemies. They do not care about who the Traveler has visited. They do not care about the chaos sown by the Traveler. They only care about hurting the Traveler in any way they can. No one knows where they went. Then you found them. You killed them all. Now you must carry their burden of hate.” -Unknown to You. Titan: Lightbreaker “You will BREAK the Light.” Super: Wall of Steal Erect an unstoppable barrier to darkness to protect your allies. But be warned, damage blocked does not just disappear. No ideas for Skill Trees. Hunter: Lightbender “You will BEND Light to your will.” Super: Killing Time Slow down time for everything except you. This also affects teammates.’ (Seven Seconds) Skill Tree One: (No name) Bloodthirsty: Quickly dash from one enemy to another while Killing Time is active. Warlock: Lightstealer “You will STEAL their light.” Super: Light Well Steal your allies Light to use it as your own, increasing health, damage, and the effectiveness of your abilities, scaling with the number of Guardians in the area. Be warned, you must pay it back, even if it kills you. Skill Tree: (No name) Efficient Transfer: Repayment of power is lessened.
I dont Know what kind of new subclass will come, but Im very positive that it will be a green one, so maybe something like nuclear or neutron or something. Why do I think that?
Because the synthoceps turn green while wearing some shaders
3 AntwortenKenetic. A gift from the traveler to all those who fought without light. Brought to us by a reborn Speaker Leading a group named The Travelers Chosen

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von SancusXenon: 4/5/2018 10:38:19 PMConsidering what the other three elements are based off? Arc being electromagnetism, Void being gravity and Solar being strong nuclear radiation, the only fundamental force left is weak nuclear. I'm assuming it'll be a green coloured element, probably something like poison or toxicity or such.

There's a lot we/they can work with. Ice, water, nature/earth/rock, darkness, etc.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lord Yoink N Bag: 4/7/2018 10:50:54 AMNothing new. Ill bet its Bladedancer, Sunsinger, and defender. I have mixed feelings on that. I mained a BD in D1 i miss my blink! The skill tree in BD i constantly tweaked depending on my activity (stealth/speed, combinations with exotics etc.). Having 2 choice trees will totally suck here. Ill bet one tree will be invis the other for speed (quickdraw, fleet footed) I do NOT miss self rez (crutch!) but i did like to throw solar nades everywhere! One tree will be self rez the other will be fun flaming fireballs Weapons and Blessing of light make a bubble better. The trees will probably be based on these bubble types.

Honestly there’s no point in the subclass that have been revamped or replaced coming back as many are either the same thing or serve a similar enough function. If I was writing (sorry for this not being stellar work its off the top of my head.) the vanguard would say there’s reports of a strange new form of light on IO (it would change depending on what class your playing Ikora for the warlocks, Cayde for the hunters, Zavala for the Titans.) and their sending you to investigate it. So off to IO you go. You fight your way through some baddies until you come across an area that is all aglow with the light. As you walk down the path you hear lore about legendary guardians of your class until you come across a glowing orb and reach into it. And there you have a new subclass with you as the first guardian to master it.
-
You could make 9 new subclass total. The way is that you have 3 races. Human, exo, awoken. Each of those would corralate with a special quest line with it's own story, cutscenes, missions, around 4-5. And each would center a specific enemy. Humans-vex Exo-siva fallen Awoken-taken, hive. Reason for the choices, humans are expiermented on to simulate life, and will be vexified. A mysterious stranger(which turns out to be you in a future where they succeed but it glitches) saves you and you have to stop the process, while fighting the flashbacks. You end up closer to the light and traveler Exos are machines so the fallen try to scrap you and your ghost to sacrifice to siva. The ghost gives you Siva so you can escape, and it rapidly starts trying to take over. One mission would be you in a ramapage in Siva mode, with it gurgling commands as your ghosts. You are trying to control it, and eventually find a way to. Awoken get captured by the hive and expiermented on, and they end up getting ripped from their darker half, which tries to hunt them down and kill them. You merge back, but you have to stop the hive from completing their ritual, which would turn you dark. (They are connected to the dark) Then, each class Hunter, Titan, warlock would gave 3 sublcasses to chose from, depending on race. Each would be different, have their own perks. This would make balancing hard but it's an easy way for 9 new subclasses, even though you could only have one technically so it'd be 3 new classes.

2 AntwortenI think a frost element is likely considering there’s already frost element assets in the game (the dawning snowballs and enemies covered in snow for instance) Reusing existing assets is Bungie’s MO after all.
-
Even though this element probably won’t happen, I would still like to see a “nature” element to the game.
-
4 AntwortenThis is probably the same as darkness, out of all the options I think we’ll be getting hive magic. During the campaign for TTK, we became “ascendant” to defeat Oryx. I reckon we will be able to “awaken” those powers in some way & that will be our 4th subclass. Just a theory.
-
9 AntwortenI would like a new element and maybe old subclasses as extensions to the existing subclasses for more subclass variation
-
2 AntwortenI've always thought that instead of blink, maybe the ability to hop through a 'wormhole' of sorts and pop up a few metres away would be cool. Or maybe a super a bit like fist of havoc originally was in animation, but instead you form a singularity that sucks enemies within a certian radius and crushes them. Like a mini black hole.
