just nothing left here
remember when on reset we talked about what nightfall it was. the burns on the strikes, poe and the modifiers.. best weapons and load outs. scores, strategies, new found ghosts or secrets found. Remember the epic search for that perfect weapons to fit your guardians play style and the armour you hunted for to match your weapons and play..
D2 has gone so far down hill, there is barely anyone left complaining about it, hating on it.. we have just come to the fact that its bad.. has little left of interest to anyone, be it hardcore fan or casual player. the idea bungie had to make the game more accessible cost not only them but, us as players significantly as we are left to wait for mediocre changes attempting to bring the game close to where it ended with Rise of Iron.. we arn't there yet.. we won't be until september of this year when we will likely be asked to fork out significant funds on the lates DLC to include a raid etc.. do you want to buy into this anymore.. I do and yet.. I don't.. I want the epic game I had.. There are others out there that are begging me to go play.. and I honestly have found I just don't care about bungie and the info they give us.. because its empty and late.. maybe too late..
Edit 1. I absolutely loved and lived Destiny 1.. loved the community for good and bad.. had my share ot posts that trended.. Sadly.. This one is trending.. and for all the reasons we have talked about a failed game.. its becasue so many actually did and maybe still do care a little about its future.

'nothing left' again, this thread everyone can discount (why not if hes claiming theres nothing in D2 for me, i can claim everyone should ignore this thread and every other saying D2 is dead, finished, worst game ever (a blatant LIE) and worse than D1 (which apparently was a perfect game, the most perfect ever created in history from day 1 launch with zero flaws according to all these donkeys). by all means put your opinions however biased and distorted. JUST DONT CLAIM YOU SPEAK FOR EVERYBODY.

118 AntwortenI honestly don't get it. The game is still fun. We can still get weapons/gear to fit our play styles. There's actually more to collect in D2 gear wise because there are way more armor sets than D1 had. There are shit loads of ships, sparrows, ghosts, etc. The game still plays better and smoother than pretty much any other shooter ever. The characters are fun to level. The raids are really good. PvP needs work, but at its best in D2 (Doubles week), it was better than anything we had in D1 from TTK on. D1's Nightfalls were pretty much garbage after year one except for the Mayhem ones (forget the name). D2 can be better. D2 will be better. There are other games to play. It's like this game stole everyone's girlfriend/boyfriend or something. I bought Halo 5. Played it one day. Hated it. So I stopped playing and got a different game. I get it. People liked D1 and don't like the changes to D2. If that's the case give realistic feedback on what works or doesn't for you, but these posts don't do anything or make anything better. People expect to be able to be play Destiny 24/7/365 and always have something new to chase or do. That's not reality. It wasn't for D1 either. By the end of HoW all I logged in for was IB. I stopped playing for a month in TTK and played Forza. I've played I don't know how many other games since D2 dropped and I still have over 600 hours in. When there's something fun to do or friends on to play or something I want (just grinded the full Hunter Vanguard set), I play. When there's not, I do something else. Destiny isn't life. It's a game.

2 AntwortenOne think I just don't understand is the feeing this game gives you. I mean we could debate all day and night about what's wrong with game BUT! Vannila Destiny 1 the ONLY thing I cared about was getting a G-horn. Random rolls etc etc didn't mean shit. I played the raid religiously every week. D2 just doesn't do that. I'm still at loss why.

2 AntwortenIt’s too late. They ruined D2 and it is not fixable. Even something really good will only bring back a small fraction of the players.... and there’s no evidence anything really good is coming. Maybe D3, if they double down on RPG elements, which they won’t.

I got so bored I finally got a prestige raid done...now i'm sucked into getting a full set of prestige gear for each character.

3 AntwortenI so miss POE!! There are def improvements to be made - Destiny 1 was the business but needed more expansion on story and new things to do. I think Bungie need to learn from BOTH games and start trying to reintroduce some of D1 life back into D2 - I have lost a lot of friends to other games as think D1 lovers are struggling with D2 now and feel there is no excitement. Hopefully this new release will make things more interesting for everyone - at least for a while

I’m telling you the division is we’re it’s at. Theirs more pve endgame then actual main story. It’s crazy fun. The beginning parts are a little booting( level 1-29 ) but once you hit level 30 that’s when it gets fun as hell. I never bought the division because I had destiny 1 to fill my time, but now with d2 I needed a new game to fill that D1 grind feel. The division was it. Bought it a month ago, and the past 2 weeks have been go to college, go work, come home and play division till 12:30am.

6 Antwortenride of iron and age of triumph were not the best days of destiny. people really need to stop saying that. the taken king was by far the peak of destiny. it had challenging elements. great loot to obtain. worthy raid gear. excellent hidden quests. replayability for items that had rarity. crucible was gun even if you didnt play pvp. kiosks and collection vaults. great addittions to grimoire and a new destination worth exploring. the only one thing it didnt have was the other raids ramped up. age of triumph and rise of iron was far to giving and far to easy to reach level cap.

I suggest those still in love with what destiny was to simply continue to play destiny. Boycott the sequel and demand that destiny 1 be returned to some pre-nerf state where ice breaker and truth still mattered.
