Like this post if you want another Developer to make Destiny 3.....
Me personally I've had enough of Bungie's lies and inability to innovate the Destiny franchise. It isn't gonna change, Destiny went form being my 3rd favourite game/franchise to, well not being my 3rd, 5th or even 10th Better Devils, I mean game/franchise.
So like this post if you'd like to see a change in studio developing Destiny 3....

It’s like asking someone to buy a car with over 200,000 miles on it. I’m still baffled by the fact that they let this franchise go from pretty damn good, to complete shit.

Unless D2 pulls a "Division" in a month or two there is no chance D2 will ever be good.

I've never seen a franchise with so much potential, crash and burn so spectacularly! Unless Bungie gets their sh*t together, hold their hands up and admit that they made an outstanding blunder and revert back to D1Y3 and continue where they left off I see no coming back from the current state of affairs... And I am pretty sure that's never going to happen which is pretty sad as I was a MASSIVE fan of D1 playing since the Beta stages. To be honest I think that even D1 could of been a complete fluke... I reckon the initial nail in the coffin was when Joe Staten left the organisation, Bungie were able to piece together D1 from what was left after his departure and I even reckon most of the content from D2 would of been in Staten's original plans for D1 (Just my opinion) but this train of thought achieves nothing but "What if's"... Moving forward, Bungie please sort your mess out & continue where you left from D1.

So many of the same mistakes made over and over again; followed by what seems like a complete inability to listen to anything the community have to say. Then there's the blind faith they continue to place in their bearded designer. I'll not be purchasing D3 unless it's totally different than this latest debacle.

It feels and performs the way it does because of the effort bungie put into creating the game. Even if you disagree, which I'm sure most of you do, it's hard to dismiss them when the game could become something that doesn't even feel like Destiny. If it all of a sudden became like borderlands, sure it would be great, but it wouldn't be destiny, and just the thought of that makes it that much more unappealing. Bungies stupidity is what shaped the weird game we have today and it's because of that that we have the first game, even as the mess it was. Bungie can do the work, it just depends on how much of their stupid team decides to let them do it. I know how stupid that sounds, but it's like how they changed gears of war 4. Sure it's a great game, but it just doesn't have that gears of war feel the original teams gave it and it's one of the gears games I've played the least. (Well to be fair, I played the shit out of gears 2 and 3 simply because I had a more limited set of games compared to now, but still) Just those little things can change the game for people.

2 AntwortenThere shouldn’t be a D3. There shouldn’t have even been a D2. They should’ve stuck with what they SAID they were going to do: add onto D1 more and more throughout 10 years. But that was just another lie from Bungie. After all, it’s allllll about the money, and their original plan wasn’t nearly as profitable as a bunch of half-assed sequels.

The IP is firmly in the hands of Activision. Regardless of the developer, Activision would still make sure that the game is a rushed mess that is only good for generating as much income as quickly and as often as possible.

3 AntwortenThey took away everything that was destiny besides the GRAPHICS. light is GONE. Random rolls on weapons and armour that kept us all chasing is GONE. the lore is GONE. You did get a comic... It's a LOOT BOX GAME masquerading as destiny.

Bearbeitet von Demon_XXVII: 3/20/2018 11:57:18 PMOld Bungie are dead (the soul has left the building) And new Bungle are totally screwing up - you would think they actually want to be % owned by Activision (Mind you, what would Activision actually own apart from LS and his crayons......Bungle don't have/own any other IP/development in the near future, and I guess we will never trust them/Activision again) Destiny IP is broken - and only a full rights sale to Sony (Imagine Naughty Dog/Hideo Kojima and Joe Staten/Marty and the former Bungie Gunplay/movement Devs building Destiny for PS5) or Microsoft, a return of the great influences & total removal of LS/Nieces/ Bungle Management and Activision Accountants can save it

If Activision took the game, gave full control to DE and they came to terms with the original concept writer person guy. Could you imagine how great that could be? I know it won't happen, but sometimes a company sees a dying brand and does the right thing, to make more money. Look at Sony with Spiderman, they gave Marvel his use to earn more in the future.
