This game is beyond saving in my opinion, but if you even want me and many others to consider buying D3 then I just want Bungie to acknowledge what a mess this game is. At least that way I know you understand you screwed up, and plan on fixing it for the next installment. I’m sure many other disgruntled fans can agree with me that if you humbled yourself and apologized, it would go a long way.

4 Antwortensorry we are listening! will send this to the devs!
-
They have. That’s been the main statement. “Sorry we are listening”
-
7 AntwortenThey will NEVER apologize. They want you gone. They dont want to create any good will. They are intentionally trying to destroy Destiny. They DO NOT WANT TO MAKE DESTINY 3. They want out of this whole thing. But for the record, i agree. An apology would be a good thing. A straight up, "we got this wrong. We should have listened to our core playerbase. We took you for granted, and we see that it was an awful mistake."... that would go a long way to start the process of mending some broken fences, but IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. They still probably havent even apologized to Marty Odonell.

They currently don't owe you anything but fixes being implemented in future updates and their dedication to take good care of their gaming community.
-
6 AntwortenBungie will apologize by making a new event that you have to farm for apology Tokens, in where you collect enough you get an apology shader for one piece of armor. Collect enough shaders you will get a full apology
-
That would be nice, but I've been calling for a live stream where they explain how they could have released D2 the way it was. I want to know who's decision it was and how that person, or persons is being held accountable. There's no way they could have sat around a boardroom and said, "hey, lets dumb down the shit out of D2 because all we heard was how hard D1 was". No way. So, I want to know WHY they decided to do it. I want to know why they decided to NOT introduce any new enemies or WHY they gave us such a crappy story with the worst end bosses ever. Its mind-boggling how they could have gone from D1, year 3 to the hot mess that D2 is. Unbelievable. Let's see that live stream Bungie, it's the least you can do for the dying community.

11 AntwortenThey don’t owe you an apology. They owed you a working game. You got it, and about 60 hours of enjoyment. You wanted more. That’s unfortunate, but it doesn’t mean you were treated unfairly. If your an unhappy customer, either get a refund or take your business elsewhere. But to demand that someone humble themselves before you when they have done nothing to harm you is wrong on multiple levels.

Bearbeitet von name: 3/5/2018 2:23:01 PMyes, at this point I feel like bungie has no clue about what made D1 fun and it was a pure coincidence stuff worked out , I have no faith in any upcoming DLC or sequel anymore

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ve7n00m: 3/5/2018 2:54:19 PMI wrote this on another post, fits well here.... Destiny 2 is a joke, I'm surprised anyone still playes it honestly. You'd have to be really easily fooled to still be logging hours into this 'sequel' What gets me the most is that Bungie has NEVER come out and said, in actual words to the community 'we're sorry, our vision for the Destiny sequel went wayward, we've let our fans down and we will be doing everything possible we can to make it right. Please stay with us, we actually do care about this franchise, although it doesn't look like it right now' Instead they put up TWAB after TWAB of arrogant and ignorant bull shit and back tracking to make the game better without ever acknowledging their faults, instead praising themselves for adding Rumble to the game lol Literally -blam!- off Bungle!

10 AntwortenWhy, because YOU didn't get the game YOU wanted? I got exactly the game I wanted and expected out of D2 - an engaging open-world FPS/RPG with a ton of replayable content and side quests. What exactly did they "screw up" so badly that you don't enjoy the game, yet do so right that I'm fine with it, and somehow you think they'll get D3 "right?" Is this about loot? It's about loot, isn't it. *facepalms* It's also less immersive than Horizon:Zero Dawn, and there are less dragons than in Skyrim - should I demand an apology because it didn't check everything off my wish list too? D2 isn't a mess - D2 just wasn't the game for some people (neither was D1, or Halo:Reach, or Halo 3, or...you get the idea). Less than you'd think, really, they just talk loudly and think their opinion is the only one that matters (the replies to this comment should prove that). There's no call for an apology, for a "fix," or for scrapping D2 - this is the direction the game went in. You can like it or not, you can play it or not, but it's Bungie's game, and this is what they did with it. Don't like it? Find another. End of story.

7 AntwortenI completely disagree. What do they need to apologize for, and how would that apology, even if you got it, and assuming that it was sincere, which it probably wouldn't be, make the game more enjoyable or better for you, or for anyone else that may share your opinion, other than the perceived self satisfaction you may enjoy from it for all of five seconds... I don't know where this self importance comes from. Honestly I don't. Why should Bungie respect you personally, or anyone else that plays this game, to the point where one feels an actual apology for simply doing business is warranted. Marketing, bs, and hype have been a part of business since, and probably before, the dude standing on the corner in some old western town was selling and marketing magical elixir that could cure any illness. Your notions and criteria of what this title should do for your personal tastes as a gamer is not Bungie's responsibility. It is your responsibility to do your own due diligence and figure out how much of those marketing ploys you are willing to take at face value, and if they don't, after the fact, be accountable for your own lapse in judgement. If one is not happy with this product by this point for whatever reason, they have options, plenty options more viable then any vague apology would ever hope to accomplish. Players like you would be better served by utilizing those tools. This is what being a mature consumer looks like. You are not owed an apology.

Actions speak louder than words, bungie have proven to me that they are not a capable AAA dev anymore. I need no apology, to be honest I wouldn’t believe it to be sincere anyway. Unsatisfied customer=refund. Learn from this, don’t pre order anymore and don’t buy season passes unless you know what you’re getting.

Two Thumbs up! Loved the Thumb nail.

Bungie: "We are sorry that we love your money."
..."Wait... NO WE'RE NOT!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!"
-
It really would.....but that would be admitting they made major mistakes with this game.....they won't do that, but hey, were listening so here's a new purple glove that your guardian can wear.....only on their left hand.....but not yet.....next DLC.... hopefully..... depending if it's a full moon and if we can be arsed.

Bearbeitet von JJIBIIIS: 3/4/2018 9:28:57 PMThey made the game as intended, no apology needed! I understand perfectly how myself and Bungies relationship will be in the future, cheating bunch at arms length until I can trust them again, actions speak louder than words as I’m sure you will agree with your demands as such, but ignorance usually accompanies stupidity and both those don’t like compromise, best to take your own action and not be further misled, peace!
This game is beyond saving in my opinion
I 100% agree. At this point they are simply putting lip stick on a pig.
-
In before DMG pops in and says "Sorry." sarcastically and leaves it at that. Because Bungle's community managers appear to be sharing one braincell across all of them and they'd probably think insulting their withering fanbase would be funny. I'm going to laugh so hard when DLC 2 "The curse of the indifferent playerbase" comes out and they put so much work into it and nobody bothers to play it.
-
Agreed. Admit mistakes and move on. Otherwise, where’s the faith that it won’t happen again?
-
38 AntwortenSo you'd prefer an apology over a fix? Weird.
-
112 AntwortenNo it wouldn’t. This community will never be happy. Hell, they don’t even know what they want from one day to the next. Half of D2’s problem is the communities fault. The community cried about OHK specials... Bungie changed the loadout system... We want our Shotties and snipers back!!! The community cried about Ability Spam. Bungie slowed them down.... Community: I get one super a game?!! The community cried about tryhards. Bungie increased the ttk to close the skill gap.... Community says balanced is boring!!!! The community cried about the grind... Bungie made the game extremely casual... We have nothing to do!!! Anyone notice the common denominator? Now the community can’t lay in the bed they made... Hilarious! Personally I hope Bungie stops listening to us all. They have the data. Let them figure it out....

1 AntwortenYes. But an actual apology, not something stained by the pr department. Don't make drafts. Just sit down and start typing, or recording if they could act like an adult and own up to their mistakes. But there is too much pride and self confidence, borderline narcissism, for the heads of Bungie to do so.
