I'd be far less angry if it weren't for buying the season pass
I had some fun with the base game. The first 10-20 hours were great (pathetic numbers compared to the first game tho).
But with the first DLC and the horrendous direction the game is going, I have no interest in coming back and I hate myself for wasting the money.

Agreed. Had I known this would’ve been such an utter trash epic fail I would’ve never preordered the expansion pass edition and just avoided it all together. Such a disgrace this game is compared to its vastly superior predecessor. Lesson learned.

Yep. Paid $5 for Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and I feel like I should've paid the full price of what I paid for this "AAA" game sequel (more like cut DLC) they called Destiny 2. Having a blast with Darksiders 2 and I got the game brand new for a bargain. Destiny 3 will be closely watched, but next time i'll be waiting a month before buying anything again from Bungie. Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will hopefully fill the void.

2 AntwortenHonestly people should be madder considering they were bamboozled [u]twice[/u]. D1 launched as less than half the game they promised. They made progress to get back to their vision, then D2 reverts their corrections and improvements and launches again with an incomplete game.

3 Antwortensadly for me i also pre-ordered the game and season pass together at around £80, and with the state of the game now and since start, Destiny 3 will no longer be on my "MUST BE PLAYED" list and will go on my "AVOID AT ALL COST" list instead.

I knew they were only going to provide approximately the same amount of content as [i]The Dark Below[/i] and [i]House of Wolves[/i], both of which were mediocre DLCs for a hefty price of $35, in the Destiny 2 expansion pass. I remember being such a sucker for buying the expansion pass in Destiny 1 and then paying $40 for [i]The Taken King[/i], and [b]then[/b] having to pay another $30 for [i]Rise of Iron[/i]. This is why I'll just wait until the third DLC comes out, because then I can buy that DLC and get all of the previous DLCs for the same base price of $40. My advice to anyone who hasn't yet bought, but is planning to buy, the latest DLCs for Destiny 2, wait until the 4th and final DLC. You can get everything for $30. Sure, you might miss out on some shitty cosmetics for not playing during Year 1 and/or 2 of Destiny 2, but there's nothing really memorable about Destiny 2 anyway. (Or at least there's nothing we [i]want[/i] to remember.)

3 Antwortentoday i spent $35 at Taco Bell for lunch. of course my kids barely touched what they ordered and my wife and i had a nice round of #BattleShits immediately after we finished eating. the $35 i spent on the season pass for D2 was a much better purchase. the fact that it didn't make butt vomit is worth the price alone.

4 AntwortenMy friend told me to wait. I was in love with d1 so thought they could do no wrong. I played the beta (which I NEVER do) I know the games I will buy. I thought they would change the game round before release. Sadly - I was wrong. So - Not for me with D3

We live and learn bro, don't hate too much tho. D2 is terrible compared to D1, we know that and "they" know that. Don't pre order next time, I certainly won't be buying until a few weeks have passed and the reviews start coming in 👍

Exactly!!! I paid $100, played all three classes past the main story. Stopped playing way b4 CoO. If I had only paid $60 for the base game and stopped I would’ve said it was fun while it lasted, moved on and never looked back. Now I just feel like I threw two 20’s in the toilet and flushed. So they got an extra $40 out of me than they should’ve, but they lost me as a customer for the rest of Destiny. They are really good at talking up their next release but horse-crap at delivering. I can’t trust that any expansion or D3, D4, etc will be good and STAY good. So I’m out! Sorry Bungie

1 AntwortenAnd to think darkest dungeon and cuphead are under 20 quid, and have way more fun and replayability than D2, albeit they are dif types of games. The community has def learnt from this experience I sense, Id never pre ordered a game before now, and wont again. GG Bungie :)
