Thoughts on an Exotic Faction Rally...
Bungie should do a faction rally which the winning faction getting a new exotic.
Make 3 new exotics that the winner gets the earliest access to. The other 2 that don't win get added the next rallies loot pool.
Anybody else want to see this happen?

Worst, none of the Exotics feel exotic, with the exception of Gemini Jesters and The Colony. Talk about casual friendly

The main problem with this game is always going to be content. Some of the changes bung. is doing is good, but a lot of hate would be changed to praise if there was more space, events, enemies, weapons, armor and other items to chase. People have fortunes of game currency built up because everything was so attainable. I'm not sure bung. has the capability to implement what is really needed.

3 AntwortenThe Exotics would & should never enter the loot pool as then Bungie would have to create 3 new exotics every Rally which I don’t see happening in any way. As for the Class item idea I kinda like this idea but I think one would need to achieve more than just your Faction winning the Rally... maybe like completing 30 or so Challenges during the Rally, completing a certain number of Public Events & Lost Sectors, completing the Nightfall, & winning a certain number of Crucible matches & if you fail to complete everything then make it where you have to start all over on the next Rally. Also don’t make it where if you unlock it on one character it unlocks it on the other two. Then later on Bungie could add Ornaments as rewards to change up the looks a bit. If Bungie did do this then I do really hope that the Exotic class items would actually do something more than being able to just equip it with another Exotic... maybe allow it to have two mods equipped at once or something.

1 AntwortenMaybe just do it once per season so that the artists have time to come up with new exotics between the specific exotic faction rally coming around each time.

8 AntwortenSure that would be nice. However I probably won't see it happen because the only reason I login now is to collect my clan engrams. And that's only because I have not been able to get a single Auto rifle or Scout rifle at level 330...

13 AntwortenWhile this would be cool for a week........ I'd rather see them introduce new exotics as parts of exotic quests. Missions that take days or weeks to complete. Something that keeps bringing you back to play. Example - the weekly nightfalls to get the upgraded Icebreaker in Destiny's Rise of Iron. It took me a month or more to get one of them to drop. Another example - complicated quests like that for Outbreak Prime or Sleeper Simulant.

2 AntwortenGreat idea. The armour, ornaments and weapons in the rally are excellent. Exclusive exotics will enhance this even more. I would really love a kiosk to enable me to collect it all though! Further to the exotic idea what about the winning faction also get a ‘winners ornament’ the idea is if you stick with your faction, after 5 wins you can show off an exclusive victory set of armour 😊

I would really like to see a response that at the very least acknowledges that faction rallies need more relevance.

3 AntwortenI think this is a great idea and could even be expanded to other events in the game. Yes, we've had faction class item exotics in D1 (which I'd like to see come back), but we've never had exotic faction weapons. And yes, for the people saying this would be cool for about a week....I disagree. I think the idea can be expanded on and can bleed through to other events in game. At this point, any changes are good changes in my book and the more constructive feedback we can give, the better. Faction rallies got stale really quickly and ideas like this and others are what can help shape this game in to what we wanted it to be all along. I'm all for faction exotics and I don't care if they were partly in D1...as stated before, there was a lot in D1 that didn't make it to D2 and no one is really sure why....but hopefully with the game in it's current state, and Bungie in the process of rolling out sandbox updates, ideas and feedback like this can really help shape the game. As much as people want to hate on Bungie...and I get it, there's a good chunk to be upset about....they're reading and listening...we just have to keep giving them ideas and feedback much like this...BUMP BUMP
