Those were the days. Wish we could go back to those where we had content, not just the same strikes, public events and sad raid and a half weve been doing for 5 months now. Oh well...

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheShadow-cali: 2/16/2018 5:02:17 PMYeah, that is when this company had key people trying to head this game in the right direction. But knowing the higher ups it was never going to happen. Now this game is stuck with a lead that has done nothing but brought this game downhill and doesn't have a clue where to go from here. Hey, lets add trinkets instead of actual content that isn't removed. That always solves our problems and they take the bait every time. This company needs a major overhaul and find someone that can light a fire under their butts to get things rolling. As it stands now, Luke is the wrong guy for the job and that is a fact. Plus it doesn't help that the lead for the sand box thinks nerfing the most popular is called "balance" and applies that flawed logic to PvE as well. But we don't want to separate the balance from PvP and PvE. That is too much work for us. Didn't you hear Luke say we made this "new system" to make thing easier for us? I mean, we don't play our own game so why would we put that kind of effort into the game. Until this company starts making an actual game and not one that is for 4 years old's and up. I'll continue to play D1 and other games. Knowing the full game wont come out until 2020 that is only if it is a decent game by then. It's sad to know I have to wait that long before this company gets off there lazy butt.

Bungie had one job to do. Take the final expansion of destiny and simply expand and improve from that point.. Not rip out everything you built destiny to be and make a pretty dress up game for your virtual doll. I recall that the developers promised more in depth content.. More NPC with quest lines.. Ever expanding story lines... So far the story has been anemic at best.. Game play dumbed down to virtual massive shooting fest were gun type really doesn't matter.. They might as well make one gun type and let us re shade it for variety. I just went back to playing D1 with my kids.. And the return has been refreshing.. The weapons feel varied and like each one actually has a different use for different encounters. Even enemies feel tougher to drop.. Overall d2 is a a shinning example on what not to do with a sequel.. Bungie needs to take a long hard look back at d1, listen to what the community is screaming about and start back paddling fast.. Cause people are abandoning the d2 ship fast.. So fast that they will have to give out the third expansion out for free to try to win back some players to convince them that D2 is actually a sequel and not some I'll attempt to make a hybrid pay to play dress up game

4 AntwortenDestiny 2 was 100% being developed as an expansion. Destiny is not a game you just reboot, especially when you have build a fan-base for over 3 years. People got used to the first game so much, they now feel alienated. Destiiny 2 looks like Destiny, plays like Destiny and sounds like Destiny but it's not Destiny . I compare it to my imaginary dog dying and replacing it with a clone that just looks like him but can't walk and bites me everytime I touch it. I can love it as much as I want but it's not the same love that I had for my original one. I can play Destiny 2 all I want, but this game hates me and does not appreciate the time I invest into it. The first Destiny grew with me, and at the end I had the feeling that I accomplished something great. I went through dozens of hours in the first game and it was a blast. I know Destiny better than my back pocket and I got rewarded for that. In Destiny 2 you can have as much knowledge as you want, you won't get rewarded for it, because it doesn't matter if you are a Veteran who puts 10000000 of hours into the game or a casual that plays the game for 1 hour a day.

2 AntwortenNope. It was always oriented to both PvP and PvE.
-
Yes I do bro the thing is they -blam!- up all the pve to balance for PvP that's for sure ,I mean I doubt if any adds would complain that they got dusted by a op weapon ,but the PvP guys are even more pissed off so what was the point Bungie you -blam!-ing great spastics
-
4 AntwortenYou mean the small period of time before trials came out and caused mass nerfs?
-
2 AntwortenNope can't think of a time ever.
-
8 AntwortenAll Bungie has to do is bring back the Gjallarhorn!
-
3 AntwortenNot sure but I thought I posted this and I'm thinking it's be removed . What I said is if you look at the buff for the GL it was for PvP players. They even came out and said it was for PvP. If we want anything for PvE players then we must do as the PvP players and quit playing the game. PvE players outnumber PvP players that means in my book that it us that is supporting this game . PvP players have quit the game but they still get the buffs , the gear , the events name it they get it . PvP players have shown they power even over the majority of other players . We need to do like PvP players and show our power and quit . If PvE players quit supporting this game it will show that without us there's is no Destiny, no PvP even no bungie . #boycottpve.
Remember when Destiny was originally pve-oriented?
You mean during early development of Destiny 1 before Joseph Staten left and the original design was scrapped? Nah, I don't remember that as I didn't follow all the Destiny hype for years before it came out. I did learn about it in retrospect though... ;)

1 AntwortenThe leadership at Bungie seems to have no logic that is even remotely similar to the players of Destiny.
-
2 AntwortenHOW and TTK was Destiny at it's peak.... Been all downhill from there....
-
2 AntwortenPVE is dead. Wisnewski and Merrill have killed it. Weapons are designed for PVP balance. Wisnewski “It also allows us to ensure the damage per burst is at a competitive level for PVP engagements” It’s all they care about Dude. This game is dead until they get rid of the PVP only sandbox and gameplay leadership.
-
Remember when it was a fun game rather than a multi participant electronic chore?
-
Bungie had a massive hard on for Trials since it was a massive hit for so long, now they think its all we ever cared about.
-
No. PvE always bored me. D1 crucible was where it was at for me and why I played for three years. Sadly, D2 took everything that made it enjoyable and hit it with the nerf bat, couldn’t play for three months before I was bored to tears.
-
The good ol' daze!
-
I think they thought they could screw PvE to bring in more PvP players, and that the PvE crowd would just say “this sucks but ok” and keep playing. Turns out they just lost the bread and butter crowd and now have the lowest numbers ever. Terrible logic makes terrible games.
-
Remember when Destiny was originally pve-oriented?
To be fair, since vanilla D1, it has been more PvP oriented until HoW/TTK came around. I tend to think Bungie always gave PvP priority before PvE as D2 proves it and how D1 launched. Despite this...
Pepperidge Farm remembers
3 AntwortenGuessing you didn't play destiny when it was first released? 1 raid. Same pubic events. Same missions.
-
-
The same problem impacts PvP. Other than crimson doubles, there have been basically 2 playlists you can choose from since launch. With no private matches.
-
12 AntwortenNo, sadly it has never really been that way. If you don’t include the reveal at E3 ages ago, it’s been always more about pvp. Hence the bloody nerfs in D1.
-
8 AntwortenDidn’t it take Destiny 1 until HoW to get some real worthwhile PvE content? I mean people who call that crota’s end a raid are very mistaken.
-
1 AntwortenI don't think it has ever been pve-oriented. One of the first things done was nerfing suros because of all the whiny pvp players. And it just continued.
