Should be celebrated as well. Hmm, do you celebrate your garbage man for picking up your trash for doing his job that is normal maintenance as well with no questions asked? See, actually AAA gaming companies and other actual businesses that are responsible do maintenance in a timely matter on a regular bases...

IMO the only teams that should be praised in D2 if you want to actually do that that is the only talent in D2 that outweighs everything else in this entire game. Is the team that creates the skybox and the composer. The only real talent and actual effort put into this entire game that is actually worth giving credit to.

Also I do think every person who does something for me at a reastraunt,carwash,shit even at a arcade it's called being nice. We saw what you did there comparing the maitence team to a garbage man in fact garbage men are nice so i do say think you because instead of me having to drive to the junk yard I just wait till wensday so they will take my trash and I will say think you.

Just like I said to someone else, I just think it's really funny how a few of you "think" you know whats actually going on here and come up with these off the wall scenarios that has nothing to do with this thread. When in reality you don't even have a clue on whats actually going on here or where I was going with this, nor do you know how I feel about it. I just feed off of the dumb replies on here and go from there. If anyone wants to have a reasonable conversation they will use there head. But from most of the replies on here it's shows how lost a lost of people actually are on this forum. How one presents themselves is how they will be treated and how I will respond. It's common knowledge a lot of people don't seem to have when it comes to this forum and that is a Fact. There wasn't one thing I said in my thread I created on this post that was wrong. It's just I have a different way of looking at life then most and just because some don't like it. That is not my problem, it's called life. I express the truth in a rough way at times but it doesn't in no way what so ever say I was wrong or was being disrespectful to the OP or Bungie. So when I see gamers actually using their brain. I'll be more open to look at how they see things. But you trying to force your "opinion" on me and say this is what is happening was very foolish when you don't even know what you are talking about. It was made up crap in your own head. But i'm sure you will ramble on like the rest about how you "think" you know whats actually going on. It's funny how most of you are saying the same things. "I thank this person and that person..." like if that was a new thing in life. You guys didn't express anything that was out of the ordinary and trying to pat yourself on the back for saying it. As a person working in IT, finishing maintenances that are set to last 4 hours isn't always as easy as it seems. So, I'm happy for them to finish early and doing their job in this regard very well. And yes, I also thank the garbage man for picking up my trash. That's how you interact with humans.

There is nothing wrong with you thanking anyone that does their job as expected. But as i said to someone else. I don't thank people for doing a half ass job and then one day 4 years later they finally get ahead of schedule on a small update that actual AAA gaming companies don't need to mention because they just do it. See, what most on here are not paying attention to is. Bungie is being forced to try to do their job now with certain things where before they could just blow it off, and that is because they been caught on so much crap that they have been pulling. This is the only reason somethings will get done and other things will be put on the shelf like usual.

I also thank the waiters and waitresses that serve me at restaurants. I even thank the person taking my order at the drive though. Yes, they're just doing their jobs, but it's never killed someone to be polite. He's thanking them for working hard enough that they finished their maintenance early. That gave us 2 extra hours to play this event; 2 extra hours to earn loot. You may not like the loot, you may not be interested in the event at all. But it's still worthy of a polite 'thank you,' if nothing else. I agree with you a lot of the time Odin, but good God where has basic human decency gone?

Would you expect praise if the job you were paid for you left two thirds of the trash in the offices and a gave your employer a note saying here's my schedule to work on getting the other two thirds of the garbage over the next eight months. Where's Bungo's decency selling this game to customers expecting a AAA game and getting this sub-par one? Then CoO a very short very unsatisfying DLC for twice it's actual value? Where's their basic human decency? How are we supposed to trust them? Their like an ex-girlfriend who stole all of your money under false pretenses lied to you about it, and took you bf out on a date with your money had sex with him and then comes home the next day saying she's going to be honest with you while stealing your wallet.

The maintenance team is not the dev team. It's not the maintenance team's responsibility to design, code, and deliver content. Your anger and frustration should be aimed at the dev team, not the guys whose sole job is to simply make sure you have a place to play. I get that you're upset, that you feel robbed of content that you paid for. I've got $100 invested in this game thanks to the expansion pass and I feel I've only gotten maybe $30 worth. But I don't go about being a hateful little putz like I see many here doing. I'm not happy with them but I'm at least keeping that anger in check and trying to be constructive. Some people don't want to be constructive: they just want to hurl bile. It's alright if you want to be angry, but at least have the courtesy of being angry at the right people.

When it takes 7 months to a year to get an update or years to fix issues. I'd say their is a huge difference between a no name then people you kind of know. So, in one sense I do see your point, but at the same time this company has been so lost that I know you want say that about the people you kind of know. The reason being is, you know that they do their job on a regular bases and it's what is expected. If not, they don't have a job. There is no difference when it comes to life with anyone. There is no exceptions at all and that is a fact when it comes to a job. You might take this as me big rough but so be it. I don't thank people for doing a half ass job. Maybe you do, but that is on you. If I buy a product and pay full price for it and it requires maintenance from time to time. I don't want to hear from the business, will fix things later when they fill like getting around to it. I pay the company to do their job. I don't pay them to make false promises and hope they will get around to it. When you look at other gaming companies that are on the ball that don't have other studios working with them or make the money as this company does. What does that say about a company that has 2 other studies working with them and knowing this is a billion dollar franchise?
