Destiny 2 is the worst sequel ever made.
Also, SquidGuy is number one.

36 AntwortenYeah, instead of creating actual content that isn't removed from the game, lets create Micro timed events to fill in that void of missing content. Yes, we know people. Bungie said the content can be obtained through the events but nothing has changed. They will pull another Dawning and play their player base again and as usual they will add a carrot that is at this time Crimson and you guys will eat it all up. This is the same crap they pulled with D1. The huge difference is though, they had 6 years of content created before D1 vanilla was released and they cut a lot of content out of the game to sell later. Which some of it you will be getting in D2. In D2 like idiots they scraped their game like they did with D1 story leaving themselves no time and started over. See, the story wasn't that big of a deal because D1 had more content then D2 had and the incentive to play the game. Here it is 4 years later and Bungie doesn't have any content to offer other then trinkets and whats left of the plummeting player base is thanking them for lying to them so this company can get by because they have nothing to offer this game. You people are too funny, because if this was anyone pulling this crap on you that you know face to face. You would speak up and give them your actual opinion and tell them off for using you. Yet a video game company has you trained well. How does that work?

29 AntwortenWhile D2 isn’t the most amazing sequel ever made, calling it the worst is pretty ridiculous, there are far worse sequels out there, MW3 comes to mind, so does super paper Mario, halo 5, any assassins creed game after brotherhood except black flag (I haven’t played origins but I’ve heard it’s great, 3 was ok too) dark souls 2 and 3 (inb4 I get flamed for that one)

19 AntwortenTo anyone disagreeing: Give me one game sequel (from the same developer in direct order with 3 years of development time) that is worse and more watered down and oversimplified compared to the predecessor than D2 is compared to D1. One.

Don't know if I agree with the statement as worst sequel ever. My opinion, D2 is the worst game sequel for the community. No game I remember has fractured it's own community this badly within 2 months of its launch. Bungie failed to deliver and is still failing to this day.

At best this is extreme hyperbole, at worst just blatantly wrong. Statements made in absolutes are almost always exceptionally ignorant and inaccurate. You didn't say this as an opinion, but as a blanket statement, which just makes you look like an idiot to anyone with common sense, or not blinded by their own issues with Destiny. There have been countless games that are incredibly worse than Destiny 2 in literally every possible way (including those that have a '2' after the title and/or are sequels to previous games.) Now if you had stated something more along the lines of "I believe Destiny 2 is the most [b]disappointing[/b] sequel ever made", that might have some merit considering how many people are angry by the piss poor direction the game took in development as well as the sheer lack of content, options, modes, rewards, and depth that this sequel lacks when compared to the completed version of Destiny 1.

Off the top of my head, I can’t think a worse sequel although I’m sure there are plenty of examples out there to choose from. The thing about Destiny 2 however is that over the years, the live team added many, many quality life improvements ( most of which the community asked for ) to Destiny 1 which made Destiny 1 a much better game than the one that launched, and Destiny 2 pretty much ignores [b][i]all of these quality of life improvements [/i][/b]. It quite literally is 1 step forward and a dozen backwards. And for that particular transgression, Bungie will remain on the communities shit list until all of those quality of life improvements come back.
