This is the saddest thing I’ve seen I know most of you are in your teens, but using terms like dying and dead to describe a video game is really stupid. Your mom you and your dog will die. A games doesn’t die the click bait terms... it’s just really awkward (you’re awkward). 4ex it’s like saying a book is dead when you’re done reading it. *Image [insert person of notable authority] shaking their head*

1 AntwortenOnce upon a time Latin was widely spoken, now it’s dead. Welcome to the natural progression of language.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Caboose: 2/2/2018 7:05:28 AMKind of agree, kind of don’t... Dead shouldn’t be used to describe single player narrative driven games like The Last of Us, which are more like your book analogy. Games like that are timeless (people can play it 10 years from now and get the same experience), and therefore can be “less popular”, but not really “dead”. That said, I do believe that multiplayer driven games, like Destiny, Call of Duty, and Overwatch can “die”. Players are what give those games their “life” by making up the community and keeping the game relevant as time goes on. When a multiplayer game like this loses its players, it dies, or becomes irrelevant and forgotten. Last years Lawbreakers is a good example. Barely anyone is playing it, no one talks about it, or even really remembers it, so I’d say that “dead” could describe it. Opinions are opinions though and I’m glad you voiced yours.
